Here’s the thing I feel like a lot of folks don’t get: I’m not trying to forget what you said. Honestly, I really tried not to. I can’t control what I do and don’t remember—forgetting things just happens. It’s annoying for you, I know, but for me it’s distressing as hell and when you make a big deal out of it rather than just reminding me you make me feel ashamed. I’ll remember that, at least.

It costs you nothing to be kind to people with memory problems. Please. It’s scary enough without people treating memory lapses as a personal failing.

Legit how it feels It's so scary, people either don't understand and minimize it or resent you for inconveniencing them. Like my bad for being disabled. To me when it comes to fibromyalgia the cognitive issues are worse than the chronic pain.

-Legit I hate reading because I can't process shit

-I write something down, it looks correct, I look again and it's filled with typos

-constantly made mistakes at an internship during stocking shelves for switching the UPC numbers around, even after checking multiple times

-constant zoning out. I'm not exaggerating. On bad days there are times when it happens every 10 seconds or so.

-Can't study because my memory and other cognitive issues don't allow me to succeed

-Can't hold a job because my cognitive issues and chronic pain don't let me last long.

-constantly forgetting words I use regularly. As wel as basic information I know.

-there have been few times when I teleported to a different room and was so confused because I forgot how I got there.

Having cognitive issues legit feels like your own brain is gaslighting you. I feel like I'm going insane sometimes.

Just watched the TADC finale and I have thoughts...I do believe it should've been two episodes and not one as the pacing sometimes felt a bit quick due to how much they had to cram in there, nonetheless I enjoyed it somewhat. I won't say more as I'm still processing

All I will say is that the auditorium I was in was a wee bit dissapointing. It was filled with teenagers, which I expected but man, do they not teach cinema etiquette anymore? They could not stop talking (sometimes even yelling, and some were standing up knowing there was a post credit scene) and it sort of soured my experience a little but not too much as I'm a master at ignoring at the end of the day. At least they didn't smell bad like the FNAF 2 auditorium lol.
