Finishing Mega Man Fully Charged and it’s got me thinking why I like Daini more as a character than Jon from MAWS….

Although with the fact that one has a unique name to show he’s a different character while the other doesn’t, i think that may answer my question.

#i know nobody is caring about these shows simultaneously but SHHHHH IM THINKING #i think it has to do with popularity and expectations #from the get-go FC is pretty clear that the cast and plot are VERY different from the games #also any time they REALLY changed a character they made them a different person with a different name #meanwhile MAWS while having a solid story its biggest weakness is some of the changes to the lore #MAWS will take these completely different characters and tack on familar names to them in hopes you’ll like them (ex S//lade and Jon) 😭#and look you can argue how Kon fans ‘should have saw it coming’ all you want but DC and the team basically baited people #its an arc where Kon orginates from where they used tHAT NAME until the voice credits for the reveal. that’s somewhat shady #and while we eventually find out just HOW different RoS is here the lead-up at that time did NOT make that clear

I’m putting Kon in the same box as Chloe from Miraculous labeled, “Official creators please leave this character tf alone at this point.”
