I miss Bass, Tails I miss him a lot.

WE COULD HAVE HAD A BASS ORIGIN STORY???? (I know he implies that Capcom “may” pursue it, but I have doubts)

I think it’s funny how careful writers have to be about Mega Man and Proto Man’s dynamic due to this translation issue where Proto Man got revealed as MM’s brother in the english translation (although i thought that happened before 7..?), but not the japanese one

“This was the comic that got distributed from Udon the most period,” is funny to me because i’m sitting here looking at Capcom while shouting “IT’S LIKE PEOPLE MISS THEIR TOP 2 CHARACTERS IN THEIR LAST FAVORITE CHARACTER POLL, IMAGINE THAT,”

I disagree a bit about Bass’ characterization, but am glad he understands Bass is stronger than Proto Man. While Bass DEFINITELY has a problem with the concept of being “weak”, there is also a level of depth from MM&B 1 and 2 that comes from his pursuit of strength and how it clashes with a morality/consciousness that he isn’t even fully aware of. Duo also touches on it in Power Fighters 2 a bit.

I would LOVE to see more Showdown Specials down the line! It could be a great way to give snapshots of caharcters we miss like the Stardroids, Mega Man Killers, etc.
