I am perfection, as I gaze upon my reflection, realizing what I have created. So many suggestions they give on the righteous way to live. Rejection is the cost you pay for the sin.. Only God forgives. So now I have protection. In isolation lies my connection. I can deal with the truth. Regardless of how fucked up and ugly I still manage to study it. Honest with myself rather than relying on outside judgement. This isn’t easy. No sweet words leaving the lips of those that I have pleased. No moral support from those I thought I needed. Just me. Trying hard to unchain my heart and learning to love me freely. I accept me for who I am. Which is why I can see me as perfect and you may see me as conceited.

I'm getting older & my heart has grown colder. Simply not the girl I used to be. Not as naive. I want different things. Fuck external validation.. I need inner peace. They can't give it to me. Not interested in wasting time. If you don't fuck with it, get off my line. Tell me something real & open my mind. Make me feel we are divine. Like we belong in the skies. We're fucked up but it's gonna be alright. If it ain't right now, it will be in the next life. Just keep trying.

So.. I have been in this place where I am kinda lost for words. Unable to articulate my feelings on the things that I've observed. Truthfully I am still struggling. Constantly trying to wrap my brain around, seeking knowledge in order to gain some understanding. But no matter what I learned, No matter the epiphany, there is 1 question consistently remaining. When will it change?
