Y’know the one

Because on the one hand, it’s such a beautifully heart wrenching depiction of love and grief and loss and yet also hope.

Those small moments, those little actions, the automatic way she starts rearranging stuff like it’s muscle memory. Those moments that carry so much weight because you want it to mean something.

Little spots of light in the darkness.

And yet, on the other hand, it’s also the final season of 5 and you’ve spent that entire time building up these characters and their relationships and how they interact with each other.

And especially That Relationship. That was built up for so long and it felt so right and so earned when it finally got to where we hoped it would.

And she spent so much of that time learning how to be a person again.

And they undid all of that.

And so I don’t know how I feel about it.

I like my stories to have a happy ending and it doesn’t really. It’s a very ambiguous ending in fact.

It’s not the ending I wanted for them but at the same time it is a beautiful ending. I’m an absolute sucker for circular narratives okay.

And I fucking love the parallels between the last ep and the first ep. The beach scene. Except the roles are reversed. He knows everything and she’s lost. It makes me feel many emotions. It makes me wanna break out my English nerd hat and analyse the shit out of it.
