Don't bother asking for the good cop

"Unfortunately no. I arrested some kid doing some graffiti, pulled over someone for running a red light, and chased a druggie four blocks. Then I had to file a bunch of paper work."

"Wow. That’s more work then what I used to do scouting for the base."

"More work then what I did as a Decepticon."

"Yeah?  Did ya shoot anybody today?’

"Non-alcoholic," Mirage said after glancing at Summer and ruffling her hair.

Pouring Mirage one of Smokescreen's drinks, he grabbed himself a beer and moved back to the living room. He set their drinks down and sat down on Summer's other side. 

"Might as well, we haven’t hung out together in a while anyway," Mirage said, moving to flop next to Summer.

"Alcoholic or non alcoholic?" He asked as he moved to the kitchen. 

"Wouldn’t be surprised if she told you all about it too," Mirage mused.

"She didn't say a word. Just a huge coincidence that it's a show she wants to see." He grinned. "You stayin'?"

Summer moved off his lap and settled on the couch before pointing at Starbuck. “Think I could be her next Halloween?” she asked. 

"Don't see why not. It looks easy enough." 

"I thought I told her she couldn’t watch that till she was older," Mirage said, glancing over to where his daughter was glued to the screen. 

Barricade shrugged, giving him a snort. "I wanted to see what it was all about and she just happened to be here."

Someone has a feeling his daughter is doing something he told her not to.

He may or may not be the instigator. 

"You think Papa worries about me too much don’t you?" she said as she settled back against him.

"Your papa needs to loosen up a bit is what I think. " He shifted the tiny girl a bit so he could grab his drink again. 

"Um…that." she said, holding up her tablet and pointing at the cover for the Battlestar Galactica season 3 soundtrack.

"Battlestar Gatactica? What kind of..." Shaking his head, he found the show and put it on. "Here we go princess"

"Mmm..okay!" Summer said with a grin. 

"Alright. " He reached for the remote to turn the t.v. on. "What's it called. Maybe it's on Netflix."

"He said it was too violent, even fi it all fake," Summer said. "But we made a deal that I could get at least the music so I’m not too worried."

"Well if you want, you can watch it here when you feel ready to. I think your Uncle Smokey and your cousin is the only ones that use the tv right now and Hunter is too little to care about anything aside from bright colors."
