Barclay's Thoughts

Hello all! Well you may have been wondering why I have not been posting on Facebook, answering calls, text or emails… probably not! Shortly after my last post I dropped my phone in the harbor and could not find it. Later that evening our neighbor Bobby, dredged the bottom with the crab net and found it. After being in saltwater for 8 hours no amount of rice could bring it back to life. I decided to take a technology vacation and not replace my phone until I needed it. I put my watch on the charger and did a techno detox for the week. IT WAS GREAT, needless to say, still have not been to the Verizon store to replace it. After 16 years of having a phone tied to my hip, I am finally in a position where I will not get fired if I don’t pick up the phone. I have been so relaxed, I don’t fret going back to work but I do fret going to the Verizon store tomorrow to get a new phone and face life again.
