For those of you who are exploring the Hallyu wave for theses and dissertations; or if you’re just interested in reading what’s out there.

There are three categories of sources (under each topic/theme): “free access”, which are online sources you can access without log-in; “requires log-in”, which are online sources you will need to log-in for; and “offline/purchase”, which are sources I wasn’t able to find online (for the time being) or that needs to be purchased (I linked them to their Amazon catalogues). Sources under the second and third categories are given in the American Sociology Association (ASA) citation style (just un-bold the title(s) when you’re formally citing it). Hopefully you’ll be able to find it on the Internet; and if you do, please kindly drop me a note so I can link it. It’ll do so much to the convenience of many!

For the links that requires you to log-in, try to see if you can sign in via your school (it should be available for most universities/research institutions). If not, e-mail me and I’ll send you a PDF copy of the file if I can access it. You can also Google the title, or use the citation details I included (bullet points) to help you in your search.

This list will continue to grow, so check back from time to time to see if there are any new additions. If you have a source you think needs to be on here, please let me know (ask-box, Facebook, Twitter, e-mail) and I’ll add it on. 

Also, If you’re a student or researcher whose publication is on this list and there’s a reason you don’t want to be, please say so. You’re not at all obligated to explain yourself - just let me know and I’ll take it off right away. 

Finally (this doesn’t really need to be said cuz you guys are cool and can be trusted, but I’ll say it anyway), if you wish to use any of this research in your papers, blog posts, etc., please cite the authors and their work!
