I would have been so much happier if Prof Hulk happened during him bringing back half the universe.

Like, if Bruce has been trying to reconcile with Hulk when they meet up with him at the beginning of Endgame, but Hulk is still not happy to come out and fight. And when Bruce volunteered to use the gauntlet he figured it would probably kill him but he had the best shot due to his gamma exposure. And Hulk realised Bruce was dying and he needed to contribute his strength so they could both save the universe.

Bada bing, bada boom, Professor Hulk.

At least then it would have been a satisfactory arc for their characters instead of RESOLVING THEIR CENTRAL CONFLICT OFF FUCKING SCREEN.
