caution to the wind by jennalee (on ao3, i can’t remember their url and it’s killing me) @j-lyn is like. my perfect egobang fic. it had everything i wanted—those moments of hesitation, of “are we really gonna do this?”, the nervousness of finally pursuing someone you’ve been in love with for years but haven’t really dealt with it yet. it’s so good. i read it constantly when she first shared it.

and of course, a classic: paper cuts. a high school au with so many repressed feelings and so much teenage fooling around that ~isn’t supposed to mean anything~ but it always does! it always does. idk who originally wrote it. but it makes me cry every time i read it. it’s an oldie, but it’s also the best one. i also really love high school aus lmao.
