"Well"  Woolsey smiled.  "That is good to know My big handsome warlock will protect me."

Magnus snorted. "Not that you need protecting, but, I'm not one to stand down from a fight where those I love are concerned."

He let his hands slide from his cheeks down to his jaw. Only when he was absolutely sure the warlock's tears were all wiped away. Though his thumbs did brush gently against his jaw in a soothing gesture. He smiled gently. Seeing the other man so vulnerable, so open broke his heart. And he was aching for his safety. He leaned in gently pressing his lips to Magnus's. I'd do anything for you. The words weren't spoken. But he tried to express it in that kiss. A moment later he pulled back reaching down to take his hand. "Come on. Let's go back to the loft."

Magnus closed his eyes and sighed against Alec's lips, willing himself to piece back together. He hadn't been intending to break down as he had, and it was incredibly rare for him to do so, but Alec, really, was worth it. Keeping him here, and safe, and alive were worth more than anything, and he would do anything he had to to make those things happen. "Yeah." he said finally, squeezing the Shadowhunter's hand tightly. "Lets."

"Not a chance." Magnus agreed, leaning down to kiss him.

"remind me if i’m not dieing to not stay ways from you"  Woolsey smiled into the kiss.

"You're not dying, period." Magnus shot back. "Not if I have anything to say about it."

Magnus snorted. “His son.” he said. “Though, I’m not sure what makes that any of your business.”

Michael tried to conceal the surprised look that came to his face, “Alexander?” he asked and his smile dropped, “Did Robert treat him poorly when you got together?” he demanded instantly.

Magnus grimaced. "He... I can't say he treated him well, no." he said, rubbing his neck.

Michael raised an eyebrow, “And I’m guessing that involvement goes further than business?” he asked and then shook his head, “Get involved with someone he knows?”

Magnus snorted. "His son." he said. "Though, I'm not sure what makes that any of your business."

"If my theory is right we have a long life ahead then"  he smiled.  "But it will never be boring"

"Not a chance." Magnus agreed, leaning down to kiss him.

"For as long as we both shall live." Magnus said, grinning. "It’s good to have you back in my arms, Woosley."

"It sounds like we just got married"  he smiled leaning forward to kiss Magnus. 

"Unofficially, we did." Magnus pointed out. "Mates for life, and all.'

"That does tend to happen when I walk in a room, yes." Magnus hummed. Not to mention the fact that Robert Lightwood and himself were not on pleasant terms after the reveal of his relationship with his son.

Michael shrugged, “I can see why,” he said bluntly, looking at him. He laughed quietly, “I have the feeling you’ve met Robert then?”

Magnus chuckled, shrugging himself as he made his way towards the door. "Yes, and on... quite fragile terms, the last time. He doesn't like my involvement in certain ares of his life."

"Had." Magnus corrected. "And, now, I have you."

"You have me"  Woolsey smiled hugging Magnus.  looking at the ground behind him.  He wondered how long He would have Magnus this time. 

"For as long as we both shall live." Magnus said, grinning. "It's good to have you back in my arms, Woosley."
