the world has no right to my heart

This is year’s visit has been brought to you by: Crumbling Fear of The Nature of Change and The Passage of Time™ .

After I listened to and, more importantly, understood Joanna Newsom’s Sapokanikan – which, by the way, is my new all-time favorite song!!! –, I started spiraling and spent the whole day thinking about the importance of being remembered and remembering others. At least, on my part, I’ve definitely met amazing people that I’d like to keep contact or, really, just to know how's their life.

It’s blowing my mind to think about how I’m no longer the person I was when I used to visit tumblr daily and freak out about snowing, for example. Well, I still freak out about stuff, that much hasn’t changed (current obsessions include Joanna Newsom, musicals, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which I already loved, yes, I just love it 290 times more now). I do, however, love myself a lot more and don’t stress about the things that I used to back then (I just stress about brand new stuff!!! E.g: Did I choose the right course??? Will I hate myself 5 years from now when I hate my job?? That is, if I even have a job??? Should I be studying art instead of international relations?? Why am I doing an article on warfare investment???).
