Triplicata in hand, Handmaid watches the announcement with an impassive gaze. When itâs finished, she closes her hand, dismissing it into her fetch modus with a glance at her Master. Though she doesnât care for the battle at hand or what it means, it is as good an opportunity as any to let off some steam. And, if this is anything like the last situation, perhaps even earn something worth the trouble. If not⌠well. Sheâs not adverse to dying there, either.      So it is not a question nor a suggestion when she cocks her head at him and murmursâÂ
      âThen⌠shall we?â
It was difficult to say whether Sesshomaru had âpreparedâ himself for this day. Ever since the ones in power claimed that the future of mankind rested on them, he had remained mostly impassive for the following days. In truth, he cared little for humanityâs fate. However, his feelings were somewhat identical to those of his Servant. He had gone thing long shouldering the burden of being âweakerâ compared to these Servant. A constant reminder that frustrated the demon to no end.
If there was one thing this battle would be good for, it would be as an outlet for his frustrations. He was uncertain if he could have withheld his bloodlust any longer without this opportunity.
â.. Kill whatever youâd like.â
That was his only response to the woman heâd been destined to stand beside in this world. He bore his claws as he proceeded towards the site of the conflict. Thoughts of death being the furthest thing from his mind. After all, only the weak perish.
