Imagine waking up to the animals of the forest croaking into the air. The dew dripping from the wooden dwelling that is your shared home with your mate.
You rub at your eyes trying to get rid of the sleep and wake up to officially start the day but a familiar blue arm tightens around your waist preventing you from sitting up. Placing a hand around the forearm, you look back with a groggy voice.
"Okul..it's time to get up."
But you are only met with a groan as they nuzzle their face into your warm shoulder. You smile softly but you really need to get up. So you begin undoing their arm around your waist, pulling down the warm furs, goosebumps rising from the temperature change. Suddenly, a comforting weight rests of over your leg as they toss their slender leg over to keep you still.
"No. Not yet. It's still so early, no one needs us that urgently." They whine, arm shifting from your waist to under your armpit and across your chest. You carefully turn in their tight grip, a hand following the curve of their cheek.
"How cute.." you tease making their head snap up with a sleepy pout. Their brows scrunched together, their full lips and sleepy eyes, melting any motivation to get up. You lean down to press a sweet kiss to their puffy lips.
"And adorable." You mumble staring at them as they huff as if unhappy but the smile on their lips tells you its all for show.
Oh how the mornings with your mate is the most magical thing on pandora đ

A/N: I might do a third one... Not proofread. I need some HC to inspire more fics. Do any of you guys have any favorites? I have so many fics written out but not finished due to struggling to really grasp their personality.
Teylan thought for hours which turned into days, about how to get you two even in the same room again. It always seemed that when he had one half, the other was leaving. It was beginning to frustrate the young Na'vi. The day it came to him he was tinkering with sky people's cool tech, he almost dropped the delicate metal. He is going to fake am emeregncy! Sure it might not be smart nor original but in the long run after all is forgiven you two will be happy together, all thanks to his courageous act!
He grabs his trusty tablet, recording his plan out loud, to come to later in order to revise.
"Ok okâ I have a plan to bring Okul and Y/n together! They dance around each other so weirdly and it makes me upset that they do not talk." He pauses, thinking if he should really do this but he releases a dignified huff. No he must do this, for his friends!
"Y/n is always busy, they don't allow themselves to feel! They are always off helping Tamtey, they are barley home now. Okul visits quite often but I think they are getting tired of my voice. Every time I look over their gaze and mind are elsewhere. They ask about Y/n so often I think it might be all they think of now.
Anyways, my planâyes. There is a mission coming up soon and Y/n jumped right on it. They're flying solo this time but I insisted that I join, just to you knowâgather more tech! Tamtey is going to be out with Anufi from the Kame'tire clan, gathering more intel on Harding and her activity in the clouded forest. Okul has to be joining them of course. So with Y/n and I out on the mission, I am going to lie and tell them that we are surrounded by RDA and need help! When we get back alive and well, hopefully it will trigger Okul to finally talk to Y/n!"
He stops his recording already feeling victorious. He stashes his tablet away, surveying the area to make sure no one heard. In the clear, he slips away from his hiding spot ready to set his plan into action.
Greenery has grown over the destroyed RDA depot. Pandora is healing but the scars still remain, just as yours. You fight the urge to scratch your back free of the scab from the scar on your back. You roll your head with an annoyed groan. Teylan missteps accidentally stepping on the back of your heels.
"Teylanâ" You hiss, glaring back at the nervous Sarentu.
"Oh! Sorry sorryâŚ" He feels as if he could fold in on himself. The days leading up he felt very confident that this would work but now he worries that he will get in trouble. He swats at his twitchy ears, irritated that they always show when he is anxiously hiding a secret.
The area seems peaceful and truly abandoned but one should always be aware of their surroundings. Every sound, every creek has you looking over your shoulder in suspicion. Teylans recklessness isn't helping the case. He quickly broke off to find some computer terminals that he caught onto using SID. You being left alone to gather whatever it was So'lek yearned for. As you comb through forgotten files of important names, your ears flick to the sound of one those dragon ships. Hard and rough landing of heavy machinery dropping near by and doesn't sound like it's one or two.
You crouch quickly as you scope the area. Eyes widening at the sight as dread began to set. Your hands reach for the comms,
"Teylan, where are you?"
You are only met with the scratchy distorted sounds. A deep scowl presses into your cheeks as you comm to the rest of the resistance.
"We've come in to contact with RDA. What is so important out this site?"
Voices echo through the comms as other try to figure out the explanation but all fall to deaf ears as you slowly and carefully make your way to Teylans last known whereabouts. With you back pressed against a metal crate you peek over, there he is. Held against his will, hands in the air as he begs for his life. Their guns pointed at his face as they taunt him and try to get him to fuss out some information. I reach back for my arrows. Steadying my gaze on the AMP suits weak points. Pulling back into the string fights be back, eager to release. When I do, the AMP explodes as the human inside cries out in pain before falling limp. Teylan scammers back, eyes scanning the area but you've already moved. Taking down the humans without the suits were easy enough. All the going well, hiding in the shadows until heat and pain aches from the side of your thigh. Glancing down, red begins to paint your leg, making you duck behind a pillar.
"I've been hit. Teylan where are you." I yell into the comms. You can hear the last AMP suit come closer, Bullets wiz past your spot, ricocheting off the wall and onto the floor. You lean your head against the pillar, silent prayer leaving your lips meant only for Eywa. You reach for your last arrow, pushing yourself away from the pillar into the open ready to fire at the AMP.
A thunderous thump causes you stop as you watch the machine fall to the floor, defeated. You lower your bow hesitantly as Teylan stares back you, equally roughed up.
"Tey-" Your words falter as the Na'vi collapses, unconscious.
"Teylan!" You scramble forward, scanning him.
"What is wrong? Teylan!" Your hands move on their own, pushing his belt out of the way to check his stomach, his back, until you find it. A wound on the top of his head. Fingers pressing on the comms once again.
"We are coming back."
You struggle between carrying Teylans unconscious body to Wo'ni and Ada and avoiding too much pressure on my dripping leg. Pushing Teylan to rest over Wo'ni's back you call for Ada to follow. You're vision becoming blurry with tiny black dots making you squint to see properly but nothing you did helped stop the dot from appearing bigger. Once back at the Resistance base, people are waiting out the front of the cave, worry covering their faces as they watch Wo'ni land exhausted almost flattening onto the rocky ground after having to carry your pain. You can't tell what is happening as hands reach out touching, dragging, pulling at the two of you from her back. You didn't realize it till now but another bullet had hit the same side of your injured leg but lodging into your stomach.
You weren't sure how you were still alive but Eywa kept you safe. One last glance towards the cloudy skies a familiar green and blue face looms over yours, eyes wide and desperate. Words leave their lips but it doesn't reach your ears before you close your eyes, lost to the pain. Distorted is how you feel when you finally wake again. Familiar cold and hard rock fills your vision. You must be laying on your back because you look to side and see Teylans frame, his chest still rises and falls. He will be ok. You relax just a touch but it vanishes when you catch onto something scraping the floor. You attempt to sit up but a warm hand stops you, pushing you down. You grunt, feeling the sores from your wounds, begging you to stop moving.
"You cannot be serious."
It makes you stop any movement. You look down the hand follow past to the arm connected to..
"Okul?" You croak, throat very dry after so much time spent sleeping. They only scoff as they come closer to push you back to rest but before they do that they fluff the pillow to support your head better. They suck their teeth, fussing over the pillow, carefully guiding your head to a comfortable spot. Smoothing your hair out of your face.
"I will grab you water. Stay here, if I see you've moved even a hair, I will finish you myself." With that they whip away and leave the room. You're back to staring at the boring ceiling. You desperately want to look over at Teylan just to be sure he is truly ok but their threat seemed serious. Fingers toying with the sheets of the cot. You allow the damp cold air to fill your lungs, the feeling of the tape attached to your skin that hold the gauze close. The sounds of feet slapping against the rocky floors near, tearing your gaze from the boring grey stone to them.
They say nothing as they reach to help you sit up and feed you water with their empty hand. Watching intently as the water disappears into your cracked lips. When you finish you lick your lips satisfied and open your mouth to speak but they simply lift a finger to stop you as they shift away to Teylan. You sit up now, watching them wring out an old cloth with new water before placing it back on Teylan's head.
"Are you ok?" Your voice is already improving. Hands moving from the cot to tinkering with your hair as they move facing their back to you. They don't reply right away but their tail catches your eye. The way it flicks and thrashes in the air, tells you everything you need to know.
"I apologize if we scared you all. We hadn't expected sky people to be near."
Okul doesn't respond instead their ear flicks. They're listening. They can't respond. If they do, it won't be of a sane mind. They had accompanied Tamtey and Anufi on their little excursion, not wanting to miss out on any lessons from their Tsahik but hearing your rushed and panicked voice crackle through Tamtey strange tech made them zero in. They stood around the resistance HQ, waiting to hear any updates. They watched as the humans ran around scrambling for explanations, dealing with the demands of So'lek and Tamtey. Then they heard your voice once more.
'I've been hitâŚ'
It echoed in their memories as their gaze finally breaks from the chaos to the sound box your voice came from. They couldn't help but grip the strange machine, wiggling it hoping your voice would sound through the mesh. You couldn't do this, they needed to see you again. To tell you how they feel. How they've fallen madly in love with your exhausted face. They've lingered for who knows how long, helping prep for your potential arrival. The others have been sent out to search for you two but when the sound of a familiar fierce Ikran echoes in the cave all movement stopped. They watched you, slide from Wo'ni's back with Teylan's senseless body in tow. You crumbled to the floor, legs giving out. The blood that covered your body was dark and thick like paint. They were quick to move their feet, wrapping their arms around your body as they tugged you with everything they had to the healers tent.
You have barely healed the large scar and here you are throwing yourself into another battle. After the pair was cleaned up, they could stare in frustration and worry. Why must you be like this? Why did you care so little about giving yourself time to relax? Their hand carefully slips into yours as you sleep unaware of the life around you. You had twitched and moaned softly in your sleep causing them to let go immediately and create distance between the two of you, much to their dismay. That's when you awoke.
Now, they can't even bother looking at you right now. Not when you act like a confused deer after trying to get yourself killed. No apology could fix your injuries, or make them look at you. After placing the cold rag on Teylan's head they leave the room to grab you more water. They roughly grab a pitcher and pour the liquid into the cup. Face screwed tight, nose scrunched up and mouth twisted into a deep frown. The pitcher slams into the table causing a few heads to turn their way. They can feel the heat of their stares but they ignore them, who they can't ignore though is the soft hand on their shoulder. They growl softly,
"If that is you little warrior I swear." They turn ready to scold you but pause, brow muscle raised to see Tamtey. The glass of water almost slips from their grip as their attitude flips.
"Sarentu, what is the matter?"
"You areâŚtense." She states the obvious, taking the glass from their tight grip.
"Perhaps I should take this to Y/n. By your reaction I take that they are trying to move already." She laughs softly but it turns into a small smile.
"Take a break. You've done so much for us."
Okul hesitates but shakes their head stubbornly while reaching for the water again.
"No. I will take this to them."
It comes off short and sharp despite their frazzled expression, but it doesn't catch the Sarentu off guard. She raises the glass away from them with a more pointed stare.
"I will. Go eat." Her voice is gentle but affirmative. They stand still, hand still reaching out wondering if they should actually listen to her but the quirk in her brow tells them she won't give up. A slow nod makes a smile appear on her lips as she shoos them away, taking the water pitcher with her. They slump onto a seating mat, fiddling with their loincloth as they wait for food to finish cooking. Their mind runs wild as they think about you, how you must feel. They regret leaving so quickly and cutting you off. They hope you aren't upset with them now. What if you never want to talk to them again? Do you hate them now?
They quickly shove the rest of their food into their mouth before speed walking back towards the healers tent. They haphazardly wipe their mouth off, as they slip inside. Head poking around the corner to see you sitting up, cup of empty water in hand. They watch as you stare at the pitcher but how you make no movement to grasp it concerns them.
"Let me get that for you." They call out causing you to flinch at their sudden appearance. You watch them pour into your glass with no words exchanged. Okul can't help but finally get a good look at your face. You look distant, tired even after a long rest.
"What is wrong? Are your injuries still causing pain?" They kneel down to look closely at the perfectly dressed wounds but you place your hand in between their view and you bandages.
"No⌠I-" You struggle to finish your sentence as you turn your face away from them. Emotion overwhelming your senses as your throat tightens like barbed wire. They stare at your shielded state and rest their hand over yours.
"Y/n. This isn't your fault." They gently whisper but it doesn't stop the memories of losing everything you've ever known to fill you r head with doubts.
"Eywa has mistaken my life's path with an others." You murmur, pulling away from them. You're words makes them furrow suspiciously as they only curl closer to you, half of their body resting on the cot with you as their hand trails the curve of your cheek to pushing a stray piece of hair behind your ear.
"That is not true." They combat but your shoulders only sink further.
"But it is, Okul. I was meant to die with my family. The scar on my back is proof of it." You shrug their hand off as you seal yourself away from them. They don't respond, simply stuck on watching you as you wallow in self pity. A tear slips down your cheek, that was enough to break them from the silence they created.
"Enough." Thumb coming to swipe at the tears you shed.
"You are worthy, Ma Y/n. Eywa was correct, she is never wrong." They softly grip your chin, demanding your gaze onto them. They stare into your glassy eyes that struggle to maintain eye contact, shifting to every little thing around.
"I-I was reckless." You break. You're words are vague, are you referring to Teylan or your past? No matter it was something Okul was going to put a stop too. Their slender arms wrap around your shoulders as they tug you into their chest. You face resting against their shoulder as you finally cry. They softly hum as they run their hand down your back, rocking you both back and forth slowly. Your breathing calms as you press into their body. Tears slowing to a stop, staining your cheeks. You yawn and shut your eyes, relishing in the feeling of physical comfort. All this time and no one has ever come this close. A simple touch from their wise hands is enough to soothe the ache in your heart. The pain has become all you've known.
"Thank you OkulâŚ"
Their lips shh you gently as they comb through your hair.
"Sleep for now. I will be here when you wake."
They pull you down to lay on the cot. Hands drying your face and eyes warm as you fall asleep easily.
"You care for them so deeply." A deep rumbly voice shakes them apart from you. They gasp slipping out from the bed, hands clasped together like a child being scolded. When they look up they meet So'leks amused stare. A small quirk of his lips, only makes them feel more embarrassed.
"I try my best." They shyly mumble.
"You don't give yourself enough credit." He nods towards your peaceful frame.
"They need someone like you. Perhaps you can calm their stubborn mind." He teases as he sets a little pouch on the counter meant for you. Okul's ears perk up as they watch him set the pouch down. They so desperately want to know what it is. Will it help you? Hurt you? As if the older Na'vi can read minds he cuts through their thoughts.
"It is dried fruit."
Okul swallows their questions and turn away embarrassed, "right of-of course."
The Trrong warrior nears their spot, face suddenly serious and voice hushed.
"Take care of them." With that he rests a hand on their shoulder and gives gentle squeeze before leaving the room. Okul is left with wide eyes as they stare at you before a small finds its way on their lips. You are all theirs, if you'll have them of course.
Imagine this- your driving, Nor is in the passenger seat cuz he beat Tamtey to shotgun. In the backseat is Tamtey, Okul, and Teylan. Okul tagged along bc Teylan really wanted to hangout with them and they wanted to hangout as well but also get to see you, the cool older friend.
Now you are driving so you get to control the aux, it's all music you love but Nor is having none of it. He's arguing with you the entire time, hand constantly reaching over to switch the song or turning the volume down.
"What is this music? It is like metal scraping to my ears."
"This is no good."
"Why must she be so loud?"
All of his complaints are met with your argument of music taste and interests. You both argue for almost the entire drive. You take him as his attitude as a jome, poking fun at his taste. Which causes him to be offended making you point out his hypocrisy.
Okul, mind you, hasn't said a word since the ride started. Teylan fell asleep not long into the ride being lulled to an uncomfortable sleeping position as the car moves. Tamtey so used to the arguing has tuned it out. Occasionally she'll lean over Okuls legs to show you two something from her phone. Causing the two of you to stop arguing and scold her for not being seated properly which then makes her mutter and pout.
You look back briefly to meet Okuls eyes and apologize embarrassed, "I'm so sorry about us."
They simply wave you off with a pleased smile, finally speaking in the moment of quiet,
"It is alright. I love your music taste."
That was all it took for you to turn to Nor and yell "HA!". He rolls his eyes and crossea his arms pouting into the window as you turn your music up. Okul is happy to see you satisfied, the rest of the ride finally gone quiet minus Teylans open mouth breathing.

WC: 3.1k
WARNINGS: None just a protective zaddy so'lek.
When you arrived at the resistance HQ, it was still perched on a hill in the Kinglor forest. You wore on the verge of death. A large slash ran across your back as everyone scrambled to patch you up but the blood seemed never ending. You were nursed back to consciousness but in pain at the inexperienced stitching of the human work. You grew to be silent, only talking when asked a question. It grew hard to keep pushing, when there were no Na'vi around your age to help bring you out of your shell. The aranahe wanted nothing to do with the resistance and neither did the Zeswa in the plains.
You stuck to the wall like a fly as you watched life pass you by. Sure So'lek and Alma tried their best to get through to you. Begging you to come out and enjoy all that Pandora had to offer but when you see your family and Ikran slain in front of you it becomes hard to function in a very pivotal time in your life. So'lek understood that, he could see the sadness begin to swallow you whole as each day passed and you lost hope. He couldn't have that, he wouldn't let you become like him.
So when the day comes that a pin comes through the sky peoples tech of an old TAP station nearby, he is pleasantly surprised to discover the lost Sarentu clan has been found. They all look to be around your age. Perhaps this group will help you thrive, he thinks as he looks over the young Na'vi crew. Once back at the HQ he is quick to hype you up and introduce you to the small group. They all seem pleasant but it doesn't change you too much. You simply keep to yourself even more, wanting to disappear as the new Na'vi infiltrates the HQ. Your reaction stumps him as he struggles to figure out what is wrong. What has you backing into a corner?
Today you sat outside, feeling the air of Pandora brush through your hair as you hum softly to yourself as you cook yourself lunch from whatever you caught that morning. A rustle behind you causes you to snap your head back slightly relaxing when it's Teylan, who seemed to be muttering to himself about something the sky people have looked past. He gasps when he finally notices you sitting there, quickly stuffing his tablet into a pocket.
"Oh you're just the person I wanted to see!" A wide smile on his lips as he bounds up to you, plopping beside you without realizing how uncomfortable you are. You take a deep breath as your mind is internally freaking out at how close this strange Na'vi is.
Your fingers shake as you stir the pot of soup when you finally find the courage to speak albeit softly but a sound nonetheless that makes him freeze as his ears twitch to listen closely, is he finally cracking your shell? Just the thought makes him excited and privileged.
"Is there something I can do for you Teylan?" You question, sneaking a glance at him from the corner of your eye.
He simply shakes his head with a little laugh, "No not at all. I just wanted to check up on you! You know⌠with your scar! Yes, we wanted to see how you were healing?" His words ramble together but you luckily catch the gist. You look over your shoulder to your heavily bandaged back and think intensely.
"It is⌠doing what it needs to do." You finally mutter.
He looks back at it as well and nods slowly, calculating his next move, then his eyes catch onto the pot.
"Oh! Are you making dinner? We would love to join you!" He doesn't say it as a question, instead he wills it. He disappears for a second and reappears but with the rest of his Sarentu clan. They greet you with a nice smile as they wrap around the fire with you. Your heart quickens, feeling slightly overwhelmed but they make no effort to push you to talk or overextend yourself. Instead they physically care for you. Handing you food, reaching for seasoning and herbs before you even get the chance too. Everyone eats in a gentleness that has become unfamiliar with you. As if you were back home but you're not home. You're far from it.
You could barely finish the rest of your food before you drop it and run to the waterfall resting behind the HQ. Tears and water alike weep down your cheeks as you clutch your heart not caring if the stitches undo themselves on your back. You've gotten used to it. So wrapped up in your emotions, you don't hear the wise Trrong warrior sneak up behind you. He had watched the Sarentu extend an olive branch to you for companionship but was disappointed when you took off but when he heard your cries, he felt concerned. Seeing the blood seep through your wrappings, he wraps his hands around your shoulders, guiding you to stand up.
You struggle to stay quiet as you continue weeping, not noticing the Sarentu have also followed after you. Eyes of worry and pity lay in their pupils. You don't meet their eyes and not a day after that as well. They should've never seen you at such a weak moment. But all the clan knew was they were never going to stop trying. It started out slow, one on one with each one of them as you formed friendships. Soon enough you could sit around a fire with everyone, talk without shame. You even hit milestones with them, like reconnecting with an Ikran. It was painful as memories of your first bonded flash in your mind but your Sarentu friends heard the echoes of the past and put an end to it.
You couldn't be more grateful for them, all of them. Your new bonded is Wo'ni. She is a fierce fighter, as Itu has put it but an even fiercer protector. The ikran has seen and felt your battles as you traverse the western frontier together fighting to save your home. This time, you will not lose. You cannot care to be weak or scared anymore. You didn't want to be a fly on the wall as you watch your friends fight. You couldn't let them fight alone. All was feeling quite successful until the day of the party. The resistance wanted to celebrate the successful of pushing back the RDA but happiness never lasts long. As the Sarentu were with Alma, talking about something your body couldn't help but twitch, feeling like something was going to happen. You stuck by So'lek that night, the Na'vi had become like a father figure to you and luckily he never minded it, he understood you.
The blast was sudden, thrusting you into a nearby water pipe. You felt the stitching rip open as you lay on the ground unable to move. Your eyes blurring in and out as hands wrap around you pulling you into their chest. All you can remember from that night, was Wo'ni's cries as she flew after you. You could feel air brush against the cool blood that stuck to the skin of your back but the exhaustion took over, your head falling back. When you awoke again you jolt awake feeling something wet and cold drip onto your cheek. You thrust yourself up, looking around frantically before hands grip at your shoulders tugging you back down. You almost fight them off when you see Tamteys worried but relieved orbs.
"Wait, Y/n. You can't move so quickly. You're not fully healed yet." Her voice is gentle and familiar, helping you relax. You groan softly as you feel the throb of your back and now head. You reach up carefully feeling around as gauze and tape meet your fingers.
"Whatâwhat happened?" You croak, taking in the new scenery, a cave.
"Mercer had found our base." She needed to say no more as your eyes snap towards her.
"Wo'ni, is she ok? Last time I remember she was following me." You voice quick and heart practically beating out of your chest.
Tamtey smiles softly and nods, "she is strong. When you're rested I can take you took her but for now you need to rest."
And so you do. For days you rest, slowly regaining your energy and soon your body becomes restless. When no one is paying attention you slip out of your bed and sneak out the only exit. Damp cool pandorian air hits your nose, making you scrunch but easily getting over it. It doesn't feel so stuffy like sky peoples air does. You look for the nearest exit, staggering almost tripping over the slick puddles till you meet the grey sky, not a shade of blue in sight. It disappoints you but it's better than living in the dark. You call out for Wo'ni and she answers swiftly landing in front of you. Screeching in your face, most likely about how she thought you were dead. You laugh through the tears forming in your eyes as you hold her close.
"Oh you are safe! My strong girl." You pull back with a soft smile on your face.
"I hope these forests have been kind to you, sweet girl."
Wo'ni purrs quickly when a voice breaks the moment apart. The Ikran looks up and over your shoulder suspicious of the intruder but calming seeing who it is, making you look over confused. Usually she was quick to growl or even flap her powerful wings at the intruder. When you catch sight of the source, it was a Na'vi but not one you knew. Their adornments were sturdier and bulky. Hair twisted into numerous locs, spread into three buns, the rest tied back. They keep their gaze on you then to your Ikran.
"So you are the strong rider that matches this strong Ikran." They purr, gliding closer.
You swallow nervously as you run your hand up and down Wo'ni's neck reassuringly, "yes. Who might you be?"
"I am Okul. Herbalist for the Kame'tire clan." They say proudly, a slight puff to their chest making them stand taller. You brush a stray loc of hair behind your ear as you both watch each other.
"Have you been caring for Wo'ni while I healed? She seems so comfortable with you." I blurted out of the blue.
They hum as they tap their chin, "unfortanetely not. I do frequent your camp often though. Perhaps that's why she isn't afraid."
I nod slowly as I find the strength to break away from Wo'ni. I don't miss how their eyes trail my frame as if accessing me for something.
"Yes?" Instead of responding Okul walks up to you well specifically behind you. Their slender hands reach out to move your hair and kuru as they check your back. A light suck of their teeth as they shake their head,
"Youâshould not be out of bed."
You twist around to get out of their handsy grip, "I feel fine." The lie falls from your lips which makes them tilt their head, "oh really? Say Iâ" They quickly reach out and gently poke my back making me hiss in pain as I back away from them.
"What was that for?" You grumble, looking over your shoulder as if you could see anything.
"You are a liar."
You purse your lips as you look back at the entrance to the cave before them. They stare at you expectantly, "you should really go rest. You are not fully healed yet and you are constantly getting up is causing the scar to be deeper." They scold you as if they've known you for years and this is a common occurrence for you. You can only stare at them nervously, gaze switching from them to the floor.
"Shall I help you back inside warrior?"
You can only shake your head as you stumble back to the mouth of the cave. You hear a soft sigh before a warm arm wraps around your waist and a hand taking yours.
"You are a stubborn one." Okul purrs into your ear, making your stomach buzz. You think it's just nerves from waking up somewhere completely new but the way they smirk down at you, makes a part of you doubt that reasoning. They allow you to lean against them as they hum softly to themselves, journeying back to your bed. You both don't say anything extra but the quiet doesn't last long when a worried Ri'nela rushes over with wide eyes.
"Y/n, what are you doing out of bed?" Her hands held out to take the weight off of Okul. I sigh softly, "I needed to see if Wo'ni was ok. It was killing me to not know for myself." My head drops tiredly, feeling the adrenaline wear off. Okul's arm tugs me closer as they finally say, "I can help them back. They are strong." I can feel their gaze drift over my exhausted face and I can't be bothered to hide right now. A chuckle rumbling from their throat as they say their goodbye to Ri'nela. The young Tsahik watches us go with a worried look in her eyes but a twinge of something she hasn't seen before. While Okul does visit often to help with the wounded per Anufi's request, she's never quite seen them like thisâassertive and slightly possessive.
In the privacy of the medic area, they gently lay you on your side, careful not to brush against your back. You groan softly as you shuffle to get comfortable, beginning to feel the ache in your back.
"Thank you Okul but you truly did not need to bring me all the way back."
They shake their head and tuck a embarrassingly thin blanket over my lap, "it is my purpose to help wherever neededâ and to finally talk to the Na'vi I've been healing all this time." Their voice smooth as nectar as they kneel beside you so you can see them better while you rest.
"Youâyou've been the one dressing my wound?" It was a question but it sounded more like a realization. That's why they knew so much about your scar. They smile and nod, clearly proud of their work.
"Ah yes and you walking around defeats my purpose."
You look down embarrassed which causes them to laugh, "It is alright. I hold no grudge, I'm just happy I found you before someone else did."
The way they say it confuses you, did they not want someone else to help you or a subtle warning of the dangers in the unfamiliar forest? Either it does something to you, your stomach squeezes and your mind pulsates. They turn away to grab something from a rolling tray nearby, turning back with a strange ointment on their fingers.
"Try your best to remain still. This will be cold." They disappear from view as hands gently undo your bandages. Unfortunately you jump when the cold ointment touches your back but luckily Okul anticipated this and already had a grip on your shoulder to prevent you from moving far.
"See, I told you." They chuckle to themselves before they finish retouching the wound. A soft sound escapes their lips as they assess their work, deeming it well enough they crawl back to where you can see them.
"Try not to get up for at least two more days. You are almost done, strong warrior." They smile softly before getting up and leaving with a mystical sway in their hips.
"Wait!" You call after them. Their steps falter as they swivel on their heels, waiting for you to finish.
"Thank you, OkulâŚ" Heat comes back to your cheeks as you look away from their intimidating gaze. They release a breath and shake their head and wave you off.
"No need to thank me, warrior."
"I will make it up to you." You call out to them as they turn to leave, albeit quickly.
The next two days go surprisingly fast, soon you sit with the others around the fire once more. Laughing at the stories they tell you to catch you up to speed. In the moment of comfortable silence Ri'nelas gaze finds yours,
"Okul seems to have a strong infatuation with you." Her words so blunt but true. You almost choke on your bite, quickly coughing to clear your throat.
"What do you mean?" Another voice asks the same question and when you look over, So'lek stares back at you confused as ever. The older Na'vi is really taking the father role seriously at the moment. He leans into the conversation making Ri'nela see her mistake as she struggles to formulate a proper response.
" It's simply an observation I've made. The Kame'tire aren't particularly a sociable bunch." She carefully explains but it makes So'lek shake his head, "Enough with the dance, who is this Okul?" He has become too invested in learning about Okul. She looks over for help but you could only shrug your shoulders you barely knew them yourself.
"I just mean that they were veryâkind when we first arrived. When Tamtey brought Anufi back the pair often visited us to help with the wounded, in turn Y/n." She pauses as she points over to you.
"When you left your bed, those days ago, they held you close. Not something unusual but when I tried to offer my help they didn't allow it. They just held you closer, as if you would slip past their fingers."
So'leks ears twitch up as he stares over at you, "is this true?"
The spotlight was now on you as all eyes have turned to you. Tamtey smirking as she listens in, Teylan tilts his head eager as well. I sigh and nod. So'lek hums softly as he turns back Ri'nela.
"I must meet this Okul. Officially." With that the broody and mysterious warrior, stalks off to the shadows. I swivel my gaze over to Ri'nela unimpressed.
"I hope Okul is ready for that."
The Tsahik shrugs, "If they held up against me, I think they will be fine against So'lek."
Tamtey snorts causing us both to look over curiously, "would you like to share anything?" My brow muscle quirks as does my ears. The Sarentu leader simply shakes her head as a large smile plasters her face.
"A someone who has been around Okul enough to knowâthey will not be fine." With that she finishes her meal, running off to her next battle. I melt slightly into my seat as I wipe my hands down my face.
"This poor Na'vi." I whisper to myself as I finish my own dinner, heading back to rest just to be sure. All that's left by the fire is Teylan and Ri'nela. One just wanted a nice family dinner and the other has a plan concocting in their technological brain.
Summary: You are usually the sunshine of the Sarentu clan. Opting to always find the positives of the situation but what happens when you hit a wall and struggle to get out of it? That's where Okul comes in, to save you!

AN: Hi! This is my first fanfic I've written in a while loll. I've recently gotten the game and became wrapped up in the world and obsessed with Okul. I wish there were more fanfics and fanart of this eccentric Navi. Hopefully I do them justice!

You were always known to be the guiding light in the dark path of the Sarentu clans road to recovering from the horrors of TAP as well as the clutches of the RDA. Never found without a smile, encouraging your fellow clan members to keep trying. The shoulder that everyone can rely on.
Today was meant to be no different. The sun shines brightly above as the animals sing into the day. The resistance finally got to have a rest day after chasing away countless RDA compounds and drill sites. The energy was very light and full of joy but there was one who was still unhappy. Nor, ever since moving to the clouded forest to seek refuge after the devastation of the original HQ, he became more sheltered. On guard all of the time without a chance of giving it up. His sharp words once targeted solely on the sky people have slowly trickled into his family. Everyone became weary when he was around, shielding themselves up for whatever arrows were to fly free from his mouth. It was hurtful but there was still hope inside of youâjust maybe, for a day he can be decent and spend time with everyone.
You sat down around a fire with the rest of your family. Laughing and passing around food as you all talk about memories from the past year since being set free from your deep slumber. Yet you notice he barely interjected with his own happy memories.
"Nor, do you have any happy memories since being free?" My voice cuts through whatever thought he was in between because he looks up slightly frazzled before registering the question. A scoff exiting from his lips.
"As long as sky people are here on Pandora. There is no 'happy' memory." He looks around defiantly and closed off before continuing to eat. An uncomfortable silence falls over your friends and you before Teylan pips up about a new tech he sourced and how useful it'll be. As the young Na'vi goes on and on about the tech, you sense a change in Nor as his breath becomes harder before he tosses his half- empty leaf plate onto the floor.
"You are Na'vi Teylan. You need not to use sky people's metal." He looms over our group with a frustrated expression as he clutches his hands at his sides, not knowing what to do with himself. Everyone simply looks in pity before you decide to speak up, trying to calm him and bring back the light mood. The day was too great to ruin it with one's morals.
"Calm Nor, he has adapted and found a skill that best suits him." I say softly, reaching for his clenched hand but he pulls away sharply and rears his lip back with a slight hiss.
"You are only fueling his addiction to being useful to sky people. You think you are any better just because you can smile in our faces? You are an empty shell of what once was, our people suffered and you all sit here and pretend as if it's all ok now."
His eyes pin you to your spot before he turns and leaves. His tail whipping behind him as he finally disappears from view. You can't help but stare where he once stood, his cruel words replaying in your brain. Did you really give off ingenuine? Was there something wrong with finding the light in the situations we are thrust into?
You swallow the lump that grows in your throat as you try to push past the pain his words caused you. But soon pretending it didn't hurt doesn't work to stop the tears that raise your eyes. You gently place your food down and leave, without another word. Your thoughts overwhelming your mind as you ignore your friends who call out to you in concern.
The next few days go by and the sun has never been seen since that day. The clouds of the forest returned and so did rain. You've kept to yourself leaving minimal interactions with your family and human friends combined. Everyone knew it was Nor who caused such a change in you but people never truly knew how to bring it up. Teetering on the edge but never fully confronting you about it. That fact, only made you feel even worse about yourself. Your mind constantly attacks you with malicious words and scenarios that you knew deep down weren't true.
The entire day has almost passed when you were called for dinner. Tonight the Sarentus Tsahik has called for the clans to eat together to celebrate the final blow towards the RDA. Na'vi from across the western frontier mix and mingle as you watch over them in the coldest corner of the room. A cold leaf plate full of food in your lap, uneaten of course. You stare at it exhausted and slightly disgusted, not because it was nasty but because you never felt hungry as of late. Opting to eat here and there when your body begged for it. You were about to hand off the food to some poor Na'vi when a voice stops you.
"Ah look who it is, my favorite Sarentu!" An eccentric voice calls out to me, following the jingle of wooden potion bottles.
"Okul. Nice to see you here." I smile tightly as I try to relax my mind but also my heart.
They plop down next to you as their eyes catch onto your unkempt hair which was unusual for your day to day. They may not see you whenever they like but they knew you loved to style your hair.
"Have you gone out with Nimun today? Your hair is wild!" They lean forward, a wide smile still on their lips, not yet gathering the lack of care you've been giving yourself since you last saw them. A false smile rests on your lips as you respond short and sweet.
"Ahh yes. She has been itching to flyâŚ" Your fingers run through your tangled hair self consciously. The two of you sit in silence as they stare at you waiting for you to talk to them but the feeling of a conversation with them becomes too much. A clearing of your throat, you hand them your uneaten food and excuse yourself.
"Sorry. I must go." You voice barley above a whisper as you swiftly turn your back and rush away to somewhere more private.
"Oh, see you later?" They call out after you but you only raise your hand in response.
Okul sits alone yet again, staring at the food in their hands. You didn't even touch it. Was it bad? They raise the cold leaf to their nose and sniff but it smells fine? They desperately want to follow after you but they stay glued to their spot as their mind runs with wild scenarios. Did they scare you away? Did you not like them as much as they thought you did?
"Okul, what are you doing alone?"
Their eyes snap up and their mind blanks, seeing Tamtey staring down in concern. They simply sigh dramatically while raising the cold food.
"Seems that Y/n did not like the food. They have left so quickly."
Tamtey hears the disappointment in their voice as she glides into the empty space beside Okul, hand on their shoulder.
"Don't take it personally. They⌠they've been dealing with some things." Tamtey's explanation makes them stop all.
"What do you mean?" Their breath slightly quickens at the thought of something bad happening to you. Friend or crush alike they would hate for you to feel stuck and alone. Tamtey hesitates, not quite sure how to respond which only makes Okul more antsy. Tamtey finally opens her mouth to explain how Nor's words hurt you deep and caused you to revert into your shell. Avoiding everyone as well as any comfort the others try to give to bring them back. Okul listens to this intently, finger on their chin as they nod. A frown on their lips and brow muscle wound tightly. How dare someone try to dim your light.
Okul feels upset for you as they rethink back on the conversation the two of you just shared. How uncharacteristically you acted. It all made sense. At the end of Tamtey speaking they throw themselves onto their feet.
"I must find them." They say with heavy determination, a fist knocking into their empty palm.
"They aren't particularly open to talking now." Tamtey tries to stop them but they're already shaking their head 'no'.
"Or maybe no one has made a stronger effort." The words weren't meant to come off so harshly but there was truly no other way to say it. Their chest aches with the thought of you feeling so alone and struggling while your family acts as if it's not happening nor serious.
"I suppose you are right. They usually hang out near the cliff at the back entrance." Tamtey admits with slight shame. This was a battle she wasn't well versed in. She knew that Nor could be harsh but typically oversees it knowing he would do anything for his family but she is one Na'vi with her own feelings. She has a shell around her heart but youâyou have open arms. Always welcoming and warm like the sun on one's skin. Hearing those words must've hurt you enough that others are noticing it. When the Sarentu looks up they only see the party and no Okul in sight. A soft smile rests on her lips.
"Bring them back to us Okul." She whispers to herself before jumping back into enjoying the party.
On the cliff, you sit at the very edge, legs kicking as you enjoy the warm night. Humming to yourself, a sarentu melody. Your eyes droop just a little, feeling sleep wanting to consume you whole.
"I heard I would find you hear." A voice calls out softly behind you causing you to look back slightly freaked out.
"Okul⌠what are you doing here, shouldn't you be enjoying the festivities?" You pull your legs back up onto solid ground and your chest. They only shake their head as they watch you physically shield yourself off to them. They swiftly appear at your side and sit with their back to the cliff, quite reckless they know but for youâthey couldn't care. They lean closer to stare at your far off face, hand slowly slipping between your clasped arms.
"Look at me." They whisper. With a heavy sigh you finally break away from the rest of Pandora to stare into their yellow orbs.
"There you are." They smile softly as they tuck feral strands of your hair behind your ear. Their soft fingers graze your cheek bone causing your body to tingle and breath to hitch.
"Why are you here?" You ask broken and blunt but not daring to pull way from them. You never wanted their touch to leave but you don't want it in a moment such as this. You wanted it in the privacy of your home, all wrapped together in nothing but the furs as they whisper sweet nothings into your ear. You look away quickly trying to shush the lustful thoughts but they grip your chin and guide your gaze back to them.
"I have come to comfort you." They admit, their tail trails up your left shin before resting around your ankle.
"My favorite Sarentu should not be sad especially in a time like this." They hum.
"I am not your favorite Sarentu, this is Tamtey." I scoff, shaking my head. There it was, the way you didn't believe their words and efforts in comfort causes them to gasp as their hand clutches their chest.
"You dare say I'm lying?" They lean closely, mere centimeters away from grazing your lips if they speak. They struggle to stay focused on your eyes, slowly trailing down to those plush, full lips of yours. They have never gotten this close to you, minus their various wet dreams of you writhing underneath them in complete pleasure. You both become lost, the other waiting for a crack, the tension intensifies when your lips part softly, ghosting their lips.
"OkulâŚ" It practically comes out as a moan in their ears. They don't even think about it clearly when they break and slam their lips into yours. You gasp as they push you onto your back as they settle on your lap, moans and rustling as they practically rip your clothes off. Their tongue invading your mouth, catching your tongue and sucking softly. When they pull away a strong string of spit connects the both of you. You struggle to catch your breath as you watch them lick their lips, watching you like a predator does their prey.
"I-" They shush you quickly.
"I am here for you. Let me love you properly." They smirk as their lips attack your neck this time, biting and sucking leaving deep purplish marks as well as their teeth imprints. They are making you theirs tonight and it seems like you have no problem with it, the way you move your head and body to make space for them. They slip back and push your thighs apart before sinking between them. Their hands run up and down your stomach as they slowly hump at your wettened core. Their lips never stopping their assault. You moan into the night sky, the lust overtaking your right mind. Finally they pull back at look down in complete admiration.
"You look beautiful, ma y/n." They whisper, fingers tracing the marks they just made.
"O-Okul pleaseâŚ" You grumble, feeling like nectar. They smirk, leaning down, hips grinding themselves down on you once again.
You moan softly, "I need moreâŚ.make me yours."
Those words make their heart stop. Pupils swallow the yellow of their eyes. That's all they wanted to hear. They always dreamed of hearing you say this but for it to actually be true sent shivers down their spine. Their heart hammers against their chest as they nod.
"Anything for you.." Their lips wrap around your perky nipple as their fingers toy with the other. They suck and bite, revealing in your sweet moans before moving to the other in repetitive motions. They trail their tongue down your ready body before landing above your sweet clit. They pin your legs up towards your chest as you meet their gaze from between your thighs. Their lips are not in view as they press soft kisses to your folds. A tentative lick placed over your puffy slit, threatening to break through the threshold.
"Okul please stop teasing." You whine, closing your eyes, shaking your head.
"I want to savour this. Savour you, ma yawntu." They whisper, their lips tickle your pussy. Kitten licks turn to their tongue pressing flat against your clit as their fingers slowly push in and out of your clenching hole. Your moans and begging sound like music to their ears as you come twice to their lustful embrace. They growl whenever you try to push them away, gripping your thighs in place as they only crawl closer to continue enjoying your essence.
With a suck on your clit they finally pull back, cheeks wet with your juices and their drool combined. They lick their lips, full on you and a chuckle fills your ears. You look down exhausted and tired the sight makes you want to come all over again. Their locs are astray, hazy lust filled eyes, and the mess that spreads across their cheeks. Your hand makes its way down to the only clean part of their cheek, thumbing gently rubbing it. You struggle to find the words to fill such intimate air but luckily Okul beats you to it.
"Are you satisfied ma yawntu?" they lean into your palm as their fingers slowly graze your slit, making you shudder and wiggle your hips.
"Very." You relax when their slender but fulfilling fingers enter you once again, mouth agape. They hum as they struggle to keep their gaze off your pussy that squelches deliciously. They pull away and lick at their fingers, covered in your cum. Eyes staring into you threatening you to look away. They sigh with content as they move to rest beside you. You stare into the sky, tired and thoroughly fucked. Your chest rise and falls as you catch your breath. You shakily sit up and look over to see them watching you the entire time. You feel the heat rush up your face as you run your hands down your cheeks as the air cools the pulsing from between your thighs.
"You are an unrelentious beast." You laugh as your hands search for your clothes that were tossed away. Shuffling of Okul sitting up is heard behind you but you pay no mind, focusing on your clothes. That is until you feel familiar hands wrap around your waist and tug you to their chest. Words whispered up against your ear.
"Only for you ma y/n." Your eyes roll shut as your breath shudders, lips parted softly losing all your strength as you slump against them, enjoying their warmth.
"You are mine as I am yours." They whisper seeing what their words do to you. Their hands travel up to your chest, fondling and groping your breasts.
"We should really get back to the party beforeâ" You moan unexpectedly as they pinch at your nipples.
"Before they realize we are gone." You push yourself to finish with your eyes squeezed shut. They suck their teeth softly, nose grazing against your bruised neck.
"They see why we were gone regardless. I am drenched in your smell, they could practically taste you." They purr, hands traveling back down to rest at my hips, pinching softly. You swallow and look over your shoulders to them, just one look at your eyes they see there is something bothering you.
"What is it ma Y/n?" They whisper, a hand coming up to soothe your warm cheek.
"Did this actually mean anything to you?" You whisper as if afraid it'll push them away completely.
Their eyes soften and shake their head quickly, "I've loved you ever since I laid eyes on you." Their tone is so sincere and confident, you question why you even doubted them in the first place. They slowly reach behind them and grab their braided kuru.
You gasp as they hold it out for you, "Let me show you everything, ma y/n."
"Are you sure about this? What if I am not the same person you've met? I am notâ" They raise their fingers to rest over your lips as they shush you.
"You are the reason I've come today. I searched for you in the crowds and listened for your voice. If I hadn't wanted you so bad I wouldn't have followed you here." Their hand falls from your lips and to your waist as they tug you to sit in their lap. You willingly climb in, face to faceâchest to chest. Your naked body over their simple clothed one. Their hand trails from your hip to your own braided kuru, toying with it softly.
"This is your decision." They whisper, other hand still holding their kuru as the end reveals their wriggling queues waiting to attach to you. You take a deep breath and reach behind you, hand grazing the length of your braid. Their eyes following the movement obediently, they bite their lip softly trying to keep in a moan. When you reach the end you carefully reveal the queues of your own and hold it out to theirs. When you connect, a shudder runs through you both as your connection strengthens.
"OkulâŚ" you gasp, the connected braids falls from both of your hands. Yours grip their shoulder, eyes squeezed shut while their hands grips your hip and middle of your back pulling you to their chest. It was an intimate embrace that you felt could last forever.
Okul moans and gasps softly underneath your frame, "Ma Y/n⌠IâI see you." They gasp again their hips jutting forward into your ass. "Ma OkulâŚ" you whisper into their ear. You pull back to gaze at their pleased face. A soft smile on your lips as you softly kiss their nose causing them to open their eyes. Pupils dilated and a melted smile greet you back as you admire them.
"I see you." You gently kiss their nose once more, their upper half slump against your chest and they hold you tightly. A sound comes from their throat, practically a purr as they replay those words in their mind.
"I see you ma Y/n." You close your eyes with them, cradling their head to your chest.
A memory cuts in, one from Okul and immediately recognize it the longer you watch. It was the day you and Tamtey appeared at the Hollows, standing tall and confident even when Mokasa shunned you away. From their eyes, they flick between you and your companion but mainly stick to you. They stay in the background even when their clan members close in around the two of you. They admired the way you spoke, you could feel their ears perk up when you spoke so defiantly. The glare you gave Mokasa, which turned them on. The way you moved your arms causing the muscles in them to flex. They wanted to do nothing more than to keep you to themselves. Your hair, your voice, eywa everything about you is what they wanted in a mate.
They only crept closer when Sa'ney called the pair of you closer. You and your sarentu leader sat to listen to Sa'ney speak about Anufi. The way you spoke about bringing their Tsahik back only made them fall more in love with you and they haven't even had a conversation with you yet. When the pair of you stood and left the hut, your eyes connected for a split second and a gentle smile rose to your lips as you quickly greeted them before taking off on your Ikrans. They clutched their chest where their pounding heart sat as they watched you go.
"You see. I loved you from the beginning." Their voice echoes before calming to a single sound.
"No matter what you did, it could only make me fall in love with you more. The way you fought so hard for our clan and reunited us all, was something I could never figure out how to repay." They continue as you open your eyes to greet their warm open ones.
"You need not to feel bad for simply existing, ma yawntu." They gently press their lips to mine as our kurus detach but the warm feeling never leaves, instead it settles in our bones.
We pull back, watching each other, " thank you ma Okul."
Your mate hums happily with a love drunk expression, making you cover your mouth as you fail to suppress a giggle.
"Let's go back inside." I crawl off their lap, tossing on my clothes. They watch, their body feeling cold as you moved which makes them pout childishly but it's quickly washed away when they watch you extend your hand.
They take it with no hesitation, "you didn't touch your leaf plate! We must get you fed."
"Yes we shall." You laugh after them as they lead you inside, feeling as if the clouds have lifted you away. As you watch them talk about whatever excites them you can't help but thank Eywa for sending them to you.

A/N: Hello, I'm finally getting to writing the first chapter! You can find the Masterlist for this series on my pinned post!
Chapter Summary: We are going to time skip to present day. We are going to learn more about Y/n and their involvement with Wakanda. They also go through deja vus of situations that have never happened before in places they've never been.
Summary / Preview / Next Chapter
"Wha...what?" struggling to keep your eyes open, you look around you. A field? You look around and see many of the same soldiers and warriors you were fighting with just as confused. You look down and see you're wearing the same clothes and gear as you were a second ago. What happened in those minutes? Was the battle finished? Did we lose? Did he win?
You swallow harshly and start walking, wobbling and struggling to stay upright due to exhaustion. You find Bucky who's lost in thought while looking at his hand,
"What...happened?" he gives you a confused look, about to answer before he's interrupted by a wizard? What's a wizard doing here?
"Fights not over let's go!" The wizard urges us forward, where we see multiple wizards opening up portals to what looked like another realm until I saw them. It was Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor. All staring shocked as heroes rush forward ready to attack. You take a deep breath waiting for the signal.
"Avengers Assemble."
Everyone rushes forward with no hesitation and a brave attitude.
-A Year or Two Later -
*Bleep* *Bleep*
You jolt up. Wiping away the eye crust and drool. Both of which are total signs of good sleep. The alarm still blaring is quickly shut off and thus starts your day. Getting ready to work for a normal security company that pays decently but includes nothing exciting, or thrilling. Life before this was interesting. There was always something drastic and life-threatening but since the final battle, everyone's moved on or stepped back from a hero's life. You included.
You are Y/n L/n. A known hero for their liquid manipulation abilities. Liquid ranging from beverages to blood. Fans theorized that even with a drop of blood you could do real damage. Although you'll never confirm that... publicly. Don't want to make people even more afraid of you now.
How you got your powers were simple. You were a volunteer experiment. Tired of the life you had before, you wanted to do more than what was given to you. That doesn't mean you were exempt from the abuse. From scientists and guards who worked on keeping you tamed so you don't murder anybody. Even through all of that, you didn't let it hold you back. Escaping and joining the 'Shield' agency where you met the Avengers becoming good friends with them.
To get back to the present day, you entered work with the intention of getting through the day. Finish those boring papers and answer calls. Sitting down in your claustrophobic office room, you took a deep breath getting straight to work.
After several hours of the same old. You heard yelling. Tilting and twisting your head to the left a little bit to get a better listen. Silence. You scrunch your eyebrows with a small frown before continuing to work on your report. Then you hear it again but more defining.
"Help me!" A desperate voice cried out. Jumping out of your chair, you take off your blazer, and throw it on your desk. Before you book it, you grab your phone and shove it in your back pocket. Following the sound of the screams, you enter a hallway. Everything again goes silent. You stop, breathing slowly to listen. You search for any sign of struggle but there seems to be none, just a normal empty hallway. You sigh thinking you're crazy and walk back to your office.
Once you get there someone has taken your seat facing the door that you just walked through.
"Hello, Y/n. Long time no see."
"Hello, Shuri w-what are you doing here?" you say while walking to the left, leaning on the bookcase in front of the wall. She smiles before saying,
"You can come out now." You give her a questioning look. Then come two pairs of footsteps. Looking to your right, you see Okoye and a young girl who seems to be in either high school or college.
"This is Riri." That was her name huh. You raise an eyebrow and nod toward her. Who is gleaming and amazed.
"Wow. WOW. THIS IS SO AWESOME I LOVE YOUR POWERS. C-Can I get your autograph?"
Okoye huffs and eyes the girl, "Enough! We came for her help, not for a fan meet-up."
"Help? Why would you need my help?" You questioned, looking at Shuri who sighs.
"Riri here has created a school project that was then stolen and sold to the U.S. government to find vibranium," You nod still not understanding what this has to do with you.
"We have also discovered that there is an underwater civilization that is in danger because of her project and is trying to kill Riri and we need your help to stop them." The last part of her explanation is quickly said. You look side to side mouth open slightly.
"Oh." The three of them nod.
"So... will you help us? Please." Shuri pleaded with genuine concern. Okoye showed her support by nodding. Riri stared holes with a scared look on her face and her hands praised together pleading, begging.
You look down and think for a moment. This job is boring but it also is good financial support. If you leave you may be fired but you also get to use your powers on purpose and not when you're bored.
You finally decided, "Sure why the hell not."
The three women smiled while Riri whooped causing the rest to look at her concerned. She smiles shyly and gives a quiet 'sorry'. You snort before looking at Shuri,
When I first wrote this it didn't save my progress at all and now I have to start all over and the immense rage that I feel rn is too much. Let's see if I remember anything that I just wrote. I'm gonna kms. Also, I should preface that any Yucatec Mayan words are taken from a translator so if it's wrong please be kind and recommend a better source. Let's go!
Centuries ago there was a young boy, born and raised in the waters. By the time he was about 10 years old he had pierced ears and a pierced nose. It made him look intimidating, unlike the other younglings.
One day when his mother had just finished plucking seaweed from the ocean floors to make room for water crops, she tiredly sat on the floor, pleading for him to gather her some sapodilla fruits from the surface world.
" Much paal, Ăşuchij tanto k'iin." ( Please son, it's been so long.")
He agreed immediately thinking of her hard work. If he denied then what kind of son was he? Not a loyal and loving one. He pushed back the negative thoughts and quickly gathered his worn-down satchel from previous surface-dwelling adventures. He swam up, breaking through the soft yet rough waters, exiting and getting straight to work, cutting down the fruit from their branches and enjoying the silence until he got to the last bunch.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Namor snaps his head to the left and sees 3 aggravating men charging toward him with whips in their hands ready to strike. He sighed jumping down from the tree, giving them one last glance before sprinting the other way. Due to his stamina from swimming and mutant strength he got away pretty easily and quickly. He couldn't risk flying because it would out his people. He had to protect and care for his family.
After losing the men he found a village, quickly hides behind one of the huts and starts catching his breath. His eyes flitter between faces and activities. One person truly caught his eye, it was a girl around the same age as him braiding a younger girl's hair. The girl seemed to be enjoying the moment with those around her. He noticed how everyone's faces were lit up with joy around her like she was the sun. He continued to watch her, who is unaware of the fact that she is being admired.
He looked up at the real sun and guessed it was time to leave. To venture on back to his deep blue home. He gave the girl one last glance before running back to the ocean. Once he got back his mother quickly greeted him by grasping his face and checking all over his body for any injuries. Once she found none she sighed contently and gave a cheeky smile,
"Ku ki'imaktal in wĂłol ti' u etĂŠs ma'alob futuro Ajaw." (Glad you're ok, future king).
Namor playfully rolls his eyes and hands her the fruit. She yelps with joy and takes hold of the bag but not before giving him a quick forehead touch and a couple kisses on the face. He is her baby after all.
Even with all the love his mother and his people could give him, his mind wandered back to the girl he was admiring earlier. Who is she and why was he pulled to her?

seeing someone post abt canonically underaged characters they write for with "theyre all aged up" at the top
oh so you own these characters? and have the right to age up them up? no? thats what i thought, write abt someone your own age miss 24 years old in bio
Or when they write smut about a canonically underage characters that they aged up but then they put MDNI bc they arenât comfortable with it like its not adding up guys 𤨠seems hypocritical
(Also I listened to Achilles Come Down by Gang of Youths while writing this.)Â
QUIN
Darlin and Sam in the middle of the woods because you had tracked Quinnâs blood to that spot. Little did you both know it was a trap. You both hear low ominous chuckling. Darlin immediately recognized the voice.
âWell well the trap worked after all.â ďżź
Looking up and around and seeing no one. Darlin growls already fed up. Sam starts to get antsy. Nervous but not for himself.
âHow pitiful to drag people into your mess DarlinâŚâ
Quinn pops up in front of the two of you. He smirks looking between the both of you. Darlin growls, eyes turning a frightening yet beautiful onyx. Sam takes a deep breathe, getting ready to fight for his progeny and for you. This was the moment you both been waiting for but⌠the two of you need help. He curses under his breathe, eyes trained on Quinn. Quinn puts his hand on his chest, gasping like he was insulted.
âHow dare you⌠bad doggy.â
DARLIN
Darlin was so close to setting loose but they knew it wouldnât work considering the last time they fought him. Instead Darlin backs up and is now standing beside Sam instead of like before where they were a step ahead.
âWatch your words, Dick.â
Darlin snaps back. Anger only building if that was even possible. Frustrated at the fact that they couldnât just take him out. That he wouldnt be easy to kill. That they were alone. They had no help. They didnât Sam to get hurt. All emotions are swirling inside and its making them anxious, nerve building up.
âSam⌠go.â Darlin whispers
ââŚW-What NO.â He whispers back
Quin tilts his head grinning at this point at this helpless couple.
âGo get Davidâ Darlin slowly shifting. Little by little looking more wolf like. Then they bark out,
SAMÂ
âGet everybody.â
Sam grunts stuttering. Help his mate or leave and get help. Leave them with him⌠This moment they were waiting for and he has to leave. He watches as Darlin jumps toward Quinn for a distraction, one that would be long enough for Sam to get out and get help. So he did just that. He ran for his life. Wanting to get back as soon as possible. To help his Darlin.Â
DARLIN
Meanwhile Sam took his chance. Darlin struggled, trying to stay level-headed, At one point they had Quinn pinned to a tree after he tried to break off and go after Sam but they knew better than that and were able to stop him before he succeeded. Darlin throws Quinn into a tree making him inhale sharply but the respect was payed back when he threw Darlin onto the ground pushing down on their shoulder and pulling their arm up. Darlin loudly yelped not only in pain but to hopefully send a signal to all the pack members. Once Quinn had enough of bending their arm, he grabbed them by the neck of their leather jacket and threw them causing them to break through multiple trees. Darlin tumbles onto the ground but not giving up, shifting, and letting out a loud howl while staring Quinn down. See now any normal person would feel deathly scared but Quinn only felt a droplet of intimidation, instead he rivaled that glare. Darlin huffs and start bolting at same knocking Quinn off track by a smudge and grabbing his arm roughly in their jaw biting down hard. Hearing a satisfying crack they throw him a couple feet up. He hits a sharp branch, cutting him deep on his back. Darlin lowers their head waiting for him to attack. Taking a short breathe. Quinn slowly getâs back up. Stalking painfully toward Darlin clutching onto his arm, grunting/laughing. But that slowness lasted a split second when he disappeared from their sight only to feel their shoulder burning when they felt nails digging into their shoulder and immediate pain of their shoulder dislocating. They got pushed onto their side. Quinn stands over them with black eyes that had the opposite of Darlinâs energy. Deadly and merciless. Both heavily breathing. Quinn stands near their head and steps on it roughly.Â
âYou thought you could beat... meâÂ
Quinn growls and starts laughing like a maniac. Darlin looks at him whites of their eyes showing but they donât give up instead they muster the strength and turn biting his ankle throwing him away from them into a boulder nearby. They donât waste time running towards him teeth out ready to tear his head off his body. They start clawing at him deep ones with their sharp claws. Biting his hands when he tries to protect his face. Then he kicks them in their chest and they are sent flying back.Â
SAM
Now with Sam. He met with the Shaw pack. David in front, seeing Sam, he motioned for Sam to run next to him and Asher.Â
âItâs Quinnâ Sam shouts. And thatâs all David needed to hear for him to howl to tell Darlin that theyâre coming. Not like Darlin could really focus right now. Sam jumped into a tree. Trying to focus and finally he got the energy connected.Â
âVincent we found Quinnâ Sam jumps off the tree catching up with David.Â
DARLIN
With now a bloody coat and a equal bloody enemy, both huffing and snarling. Struggling to stay in a shifted form, Darlin had to find more strength in places that werenât badly injured unlike others. A shoulder dislocated, some sort of concussion, scratches and bite marks all over, a piece of their arm bitten off from when they pinned Quinn down again. Quinn didnât look as bad since he was able to heal faster. Scratches and bites littered his body, a messed up arm, leg chunk on the floor. Yet he was still able to smirk and provoke.Â
âIâm done playing puppy.â He disappeared and grabbed Darlin by the scruff and slamming them repeatedly on the boulder before flinging them into a tree that had a sharp broken off branch sticking out. Slammed into that causing that broken branch to break through and stick you there until Quinn decided he had enough of you on the branch and roughly tore you off and through you again towards the boulder. He strides towards you before a large wolf comes slamming into him. Sam hurriedly runs toward you.Â
SAM
We finally get back to the spot Quinn was. Blood very prominent. Both from Darlin and Quinn. Mainly Darlin. His eyes widened at the trees that were once Grey and brown were now tainted red. He pushed his legs faster, seeing Quinn lingering over your limp wolf form. Luckily David put a stop to the that throwing himself towards Quinn. The other wolves helping out. I rush towards Darlin not wasting time healing them. It was hard to see where they were hurt cause everything was coated in so much...  bloodÂ
âD-darlin where are you bleeding heavily from?â No reply
âDarlin?DARLIN? Hey... hey... heyâ I cradle their head. Nothing. I look around in despair. âNo no no no no no this couldnât be happeningâ . He took a deep breath starting to blindly feel around and healing what he can. All of a sudden he feels its. The main wound. He hurriedly moves your fur around seeing the gaping wound. Looking around he sees that branch that impaled you. David, Ash and Milo taking care of Quinn with others help. Vincent showed up. We meet eyes for a split second and he gets to trying to stop Quinn. I look back down, this wound... Then he heard some low growling and his Darlin opens their eye lazily looking at Sam. He sighs and continues trying to heal them Slight panic now going away. Darlin licks his face before staggering up and glaring at Quinn and booking it. A quick snarl causes the wolves to get into the position along with Vincent who caught on, holding Quinn down, making direct eye contact. His Darlin jumps into the air and bites his head clean off his shoulders. After they drop Quinns head before suddenly shifting from fatigue. Their naked body laying there. Sam quickly cover their body with his jacket. Luckily it was big enough to cover their torso. Blood still spilling out from their wound.Â
Sam puts his hand over their wound trying to put pressure but it doesnât stop. His Darlin calmly and lovingly stares at him,Â
âStop looking at me like that.â They slightly laugh.Â
âSam donât worry about it...â He scoffs but panicking on the inside.Â
Other wolf healers come forward trying their best to keep it closed. Luckily they were able to close it but one movement and it could reopen. Sam sighed of relief. He stayed beside his Darlin. Telling them to sleep so they can heal faster. Someone mustâve left to grab a sheet of some sort because of the healers came and gave it to him. He said his thanks and covered his lovers body. Not bothering to remove the jacket. It was going to be daybreak soon. He didnât want to leave them. Vincent talk to Sam so that he could get a little distraction. David shifted back into his normal self talking with Ash and Milo about what to do about the body. Thatâs when Vincent piped into the conversationÂ
âLet him burn away in the sunlight.â Then that became an agreement but the wolves would survey the body to make sure itâs really gone. Sam kept watch of his mate. Not wanting to miss their chest that continues to rise n fall. Others were gathering supplies and a stretcher to take Darlin away. He couldnât leave them. He needed to be there. So they let him. Keep watch. Hold their hand. Nurse them back to health.Â
A/N: This is part 2 of my Gifted reader AU!! I hope you guys enjoy!
After you both put your groceries away. You meet up with the rest of your families. Alma and your grandpa are talking and look at everyone else.Â
â We are inviting the L/Nâs over for dinnerâ said Alma.
âIt would be a great time to get to know each other.â She added with a gentle smile. Your grandpa smiles while nodding towards your family.Â
You and Camilo look at each other and share a mini moment of excitement. Then Mirabel as you learned her name was came up to you,Â
âHello! Itâs nice to see another person around my age excluding my primoâ She chuckles. You smile widely,Â
âIndeed and its nice to actually see a welcoming set of facesâ you both instantly clicked. Talking and talking about each others family. Camilo watch you two with a smile but he couldnât help but feel a twinge of jealousy. You two talked so much while they barely were able to get a sentence out.Â
He sits back and watches you smile. As if Dolores can magically hear their thoughts now, she asks themÂ
âIn love?â Camilo jumps as if theyâve been caught.Â
âN-no!â She laughs and nudges him.Â
âItâs ok to say so...â she tries to get them to confess and she got her way because soon he sighsÂ
âI have, so quickly too... is that wrong?â he looks a the ground. Dolores smiles gentlyÂ
âOf course not hermano. Just be careful with your heart. And make sure you know them better!â she jokingly scolds them then squeezes their shoulder softly and walks away. Camilo looks towards you again before his family leaves to get ready for the dinner.Â
When itâs time for the dinner. It seems that the secret of Camiloâs crush on you isnât a secret anymore. Dolores told everyone... Pepa and Felix thinks its cute but they are of course still cautious for their son. Pepa more than Felix. They both do want the best for their son.Â
They all make it their mission to get the two of you together. Camilo finds it comforting and funny that their family supports them like this. Itâs comforting.Â
With you, You were struggling to find something nice to wear. Perhaps this emerald green dress or blue dress? No about how about a blend of multiple colors? Ugh itâs so confusing. So of course you asked your cousin of her opinion.Â
âhmm I say go with this oneâ she says as she holds out a sage green dress with puffy sleeves. You grin and squealÂ
âOh my I forgot about this dress!â Aria smiles and walks out of your room as you quickly put on the dress after she leaves. You look in the mirror and do a little twirl, smiling liking the way it looks. You do your hair however to your liking and meet the rest of your family to leave.Â
Once youâre family arrives, the doors of the house open up itself and reveals the frantic family. All running around until Antonio saysÂ
âOh look there here!â he says pointing at you. You smile nervously as Alma invites you all in with a tight smile. Itâs not in a bad way but more of an embarrassed. Her family were running around like chickens without heads. But thatâs the madrigals. Â
Camilo is standing in the midst nervously staring at you. Inching closer every second. You continued talking to Mirabel and getting to know each other. Camilo finally gets the guts to talk to you and interjects your conversation with Mirabel. She catches the hint and winks at her cousin.
You turn to them and smile âHelloâ Camilo blushes and smiles widely âHello mi vidaâ you blush at the new and sudden nickname. He starts feeling a sudden burst of confidence and tucks a piece of your hair out of your face. Their hand lingers for a second.
âCamilo what are you doing?â Felix pops in the middle of you two. You back away smiling nervously. âS-sorryâ Felix stops you âNo no dear its ok. I was just wondering where my son got this sudden burst of confidenceâ he wiggles his eyebrows toward camilo. âPapa stop please!â Camilo covers their face with a groan
You laugh and continue to get to know Camilo. Turns out there is something about the madrigals that you need to stay and thats something is Camilo.
Sry but what happened to â Weâre Powerful Too PT2â ? did it get deleted, cause i cant find it anywhere⌠Just wondering cause im excited to read it!

A/N: Back with part 2! Iâm really happy that you guys liked the last one and I hope I make you excited with this one ENJOY!Â
- Itâs been a couple of days since you ended things. It feels surreal. As if the light is simply not there anymore. Camilo continues to put smiles on others faces but the one smile he really wants avoids them as if heâs some disease. That hurts them so bad. All he wants is for you to be in their arms. To hold you and give you all the affection in the world.Â
- When you run into each other, thereâs definitely a split second of eye contact before you push past them. Lately thereâs only have a sad/empty look on your face. I should preface that Camilo would totally run to you and try to talk to you if he wasnât being push and pulled by everyone. Â
-Â âY/-...â He would whisper as he hold their hand out to your back as you walk the other way. He looks down at the ground before their name gets called by someone and of course duty calls and he puts on a fake smile.Â
- As for Mira, her family was ecstatic at the news and immediately tried to push for a marriage again...At this point the Madrigal family is annoyed by them. They become disgusted with Mira and her family. Itâs embarrassing how much they push and want to be associated with the Madrigals.Â
- Y/n had been reading for a little while on a bench alone. That wasnât until Mira showed up with some weird ring on her finger. She stuck it in your face.
- âsee this? Yeah, Camilo gave it to meâ She continues to boost about the fake ring. In the corner of your eye you see a familiar boy lurking. You both make eye contact, it was like the day you broke it off. The pain and love building up, festering, waiting to be let out. Â You two mustâve been staring at each other for so long because at one point Camilo dropped a bucket of water which he forget that he was filling causing Mira to turn around and grin like a wolf as she skips towards them.
- âCamilo! I was just telling HER about our engagement!â He looks at Mira weirded out. âPlease get away from meâ she doesnât falter and instead tries to hold their hand. Luckily he pulls away quick. He looks at you for help. You get up to go over but stutter questioning if you should thatâs when you felt a gentle push on the back and you stumbling forward towards them. You grabbed Miraâs arm and drag her off to her house. Camilo looks at Isabela who had pushed you,Â
-Â âWhat? You needed help and they need to stop being stubbornâ She says exhausted of hearing Mira harass her primo. She misses seeing the two of you together and happy. The balance she saw between you two was amazing. Reminded her of her Tia Pepa and Tio Felix.Â
- Back with you, you dragged Mira all the way back to her home. âLeave Camilo alone.âÂ
-Mira smirks âYou canât tell me to stay away from my fianceâ You deadpan her âThat ring was on some travelers table, donât think youâre fooling anybody.â with that you left the girl.Â
- Speaking of Pepa and Felix, they make sure to pay extra attention to their eldest son. Antonio hugs his brother and tells him that Y/n still loves them even if you keep running away. Then adds that he hears you talking about how you regret doing this. When Camilo hears that he feels hope for the both of you. It had been a few days since you had protected him and Camilo was gripping to any information about you. He missed you to much. He felt like he was getting physically ill. He felt that the world was against you two.Â
- Abuela was trying her hardest to get Mira and her family away but they always had some excuse to show up at la casitaâs front door. At this point La castia knew not to let them in. The house is tired of these people trudging in and spreading their lies and desperateness. Abuela comes up to you when she finds you alone. She talks to you about her and Abuelo all the time. Sometimes when make looks back at you, she finds you smiling down sadly. She knows why. She totally comes up with a plan on getting you two back together. She wants you both to be happy. She seeâs you as her grandsonâs one and only true love and she is very assured considering she seeâs her and Pedro in you both.Â
- Once the rest of the family hears of the plan except of course Camilo. Any chores that were set for Camilo were erased and placed onto Dolores and any town person who bothered Camilo were immediately taken care of by Mirabel. After some point it finally got to peopleâs minds that âoh I seeâ and poof no more distractions for the day.Â
- You had been in you and Camilos hang out spot. Reminiscing on old times. You had been beating yourself up this entire time. Wishing you hadnât done this. Wishing that things were normal again. You were so lonely with out Camilo. Little did you know Antonio had sent a little bird to keep watch over you and what youâre doing. The adorable wingman told his grandmother about where you were and she sent Camilo to go pick some fruit with a basket. He didnât question his Abuela but did wonder why the basket was heavy. He went to go look but was stopped. âCamilo please hurry your tia needs them very muchâ He nods and off he goes.Â
- Once he gets up the hill, his arms hurt from lugging up the basket. He goes to take a break at his favorite spot but seeâs someone sitting there. Once he getâs closer he pauses almost dropping the basket. Their eyes wide as he creeps up closer. He hears you sniffling and mumbling to yourself.Â
-Â âY-Y/n?â You gasp, whipping around.Â
-Â âCamilo!?â You start to get up but he rushesÂ
-Â âN-no please stayâ He says as he holds their hands out as if heâs going to chase you... which he totally will. You sigh and move to sit back down. You both sit/stand there for a few moments until he whispersÂ
-Â âMay I sit next to you?â You donât do anything knowing he wasnât going to take no as an answer. He grunts as he finally can l drop the basket. You look at it with a questioning look. He shrugs his shoulders and lifts the cloth covering it, you both stare in awe at the food perfectly wrapped and ready to be eaten by two people. You both look at each other nervous.Â
-Â âI... I guess my family planned thisâ He nervously laughs, scared of what youâll say.Â
-Â âYeah I guess so...â It was silent until your stomach growled, giving you away. Camilo smiles and takes a sandwich out of the basket, unwraps the top of it and hands it to you, blushing and smiley. You gently reach out, unsure of what to do with the situation but nonetheless you take the sandwich and start eating it. After a little you notice he isnât eating just staring at you. You huff and wiggle the sandwich in his face gesturing for them to eat.Â
-Â âEat Camiloâ He looks at you surprised and gladly takes a bit feeling tons better being able to share food with you again. Just being in your presence again without you running away. He felt at peace. Out of no where he blurts outÂ
-Â âI miss you... mi vidaâ Heâs testing the waters.Â
- â I miss you too Camilo... I- I donât know what Iâm doing, why I did it.âÂ
- âItâs ok Mi AmorâÂ
- âNo itâs not... I shouldnât have folded against her... I shouldnât have let us go so easilyâ He sadly smiles and cups your cheek turning your head to look at them. You sadly look at him fresh tear sprouting and slipping down your cheeks
-Â âMi Vida, I understand why you did it. You felt the pressure and crackedâ (lmaoo Surface pressure) He slides closer towards you and wipes away your tears and leaves kisses all over your face. You giggle and hold their hands and move closer so your noses are touching.Â
-Â âShe wonât bother us anymore I promise. I canât let you go. You are my true love, Mi Vida. Be mine again?â He looks directly in your eyes with so much love and adoration. You blush,Â
-Â âMi Amor...â You nod and soon you two are so close to kiss until two are interrupted by the sound of yelling from multiple people. You both get up, you bring the sandwich with you and continue eating while offering him some which of course he wants some just to be doted on by you. All of a sudden you see Mira booking it up the hill towards you guys, face red.Â
-Â âYou!â you and Camilo look at each other and he shape-shifts into Luisa, carefully grabs you while jumping high into a tree. Once you two land on a solid branch you both look at each other and start laughing. While laughing he pulls you in softly and lays a sweet kiss to your temple. You both cuddle and ignore the debacle happening below. At one point you question if you both should go down there and take care of it but Camilo stops you and pulls you on top of them and cuddles into you.Â
-Â âMi vida...â He whispers and he drifts off. You are flabbergasted by how easily he fell asleep. Mustâve not been sleeping well. After a little while the yelling stops and you hear rustling of tree leaves and see a familiar face,Â
-Â âOh there you two are? Are you guys back together? Is everything okay?â says Mirabel who is being helped by Luisa who smiles at you two. You laugh and nod. Everyone celebrates while you wake up Camilo and tell them that you both should get out of the tree. He nods but doesnât let you go once you both get down.Â
- Dolores comes up with Mariano âIâm glad you two got back together. Mi hermano would not stop moping aroundâ Camilo gasps and shakes their head âHow dare youâ you all laugh and continue celebrating. But thereâs one thing that stay on your mind,Â
-Â âWhat happened to Mira?â Camilo nods, Abuela come forth and respondsÂ
- âI told her and her family to leave you both alone at once and if they continue they can find another town to live in. They have been harassing you two for too long.â You smile and look at Camilo and give them a big kiss on the cheek. He smirks, âSee what did I say, sheâd never bother us again.â you playfully roll your eyes...Â
- For the rest of the night you both celebrated, having fun and making up for the lost time.Â
A/N: Day 4 since I didn't post yesterday :( of my craving for watching Encanto. I hope you enjoyyyy! NOT proofread
Part 2
- You and Camilo have been together for a while. Typical puppy love. You both cling to each other at any given chance and everyone thinks it's adorable and destined to be, except for a certain girl, Mira. She wanted to be associated with the Madrigal family. She wanted the happy life you have. The love that Camilo gives you. She wanted it all. She wanted Pepa and Felix to call her their daughter, not you who they called (Whatever you prefer). She wanted Dolores to tell her all the drama.
- But it seems that the drama Dolores tells you is about Mira. How obsessive she is over Camilo and the family. You understand to stay away from her but that doesn't mean to totally back off. This is your family. They loved you like you were one of them. Camilo knows of her too. He practically jumps into your arms when she's around. Camilo is typically a light-hearted, jokester but when SHE'S around it makes it difficult. He feels the hair on the back of their neck stand up.
- She's bold enough that sometimes she'll come up when you two are on a cute little date and start flirting with Camilo and trying to take him away to which her plan never truly works out because someone is always there to pull her away.
- Most people in the town ship the two of you and even joke about 'when's the wedding?'. The ones who truly dislike it are her family, who tried to push the two into an arranged marriage when the two were simply 12. Pepa and Felix and Abuela refused saying that he, 1) is tooooooo young and 2) He should find their true love on their own. Thus the family is always trying to get Camilo away from you.
- You aren't that threatened by her. It's kinda sad but also funny seeing her glare at you and imagine a life she'll never have. When you two are on a date you make sure to put space in between the both of them because if she gets her hands on him... she's never ever letting go. When she starts trying to shame you for anything or just trying to intimidate you in general you kind of just wait until she's done and do something she can't ever do with him.
- Camilo also defends you. He makes sure that she doesn't put her hands on you because she's definitely has tried more than once. When she shames you for being yourself he makes sure she knows that he's yours, not hers. He totally clings to you when she weird's him out. He does feel bad for you considering you were put in between this.
- In the beginning, you two had a couple of deep conversations that almost ended in her getting her way which is breaking the two of you apart. You doubting that you're worth it or him apologizing over and over almost breaking down completely for putting you through this. But ultimately you both power through and become happier in the end. It's like instead of breaking you guys up Mira helped strengthen your relationship. She made you guys trust each other so much.
- The one time where everyone and I'm talking the Madrigals and pretty much everyone else in town, was totally worried was...
- "Camilo, Y/N's here!" Felix hollered into la casita while inviting you in with a wide grin. Camilo hurried out of their room with Pepa pulling him back and smoothing out his shirt, she looks at him fondly and gives him a little kiss on the forehead thinking about how much her baby boy has grown. He smiles and quickly runs down the stairs towards you.
- "Mi Vida! Y-You look beautiful" Their eyes trailed down your body. Admiration written all over their face. You laugh
- "Thank you mi Amor" You softly grip his chin, making him look directly at you, face red and a weak smile on his face. You move closer and give him a soft, sweet kiss on the lips.
- "You look handsome" You whisper. He gulps then their eyes widen remembering their parents are watching. He turns their head towards them and they are comically weeping watching you two be so lovey-dovey like they were when they were younger. He whispers to you
- "Mi Vida we should probably run while we are still free" You smile and nod grabbing their hand, both of you shouting your goodbyes. After a little while, you both stop and look around. You are both at your special spot which is a tree on top of a hill a little ways away from the town. You both get settled and get close starting to watch the sunset. You both just talk about each other day and wonder what the future will look like for the both of you. Everything was perfect until...
- Mira. She showed up somehow finding this spot. She slides right in between the two of you. Pushing up against Camilo. You deadpan and look at him. He looks at you worried. Mira starts blabbing about her day and how tired she is and how much her parents miss seeing him around and that he should go over for dinner tonight since she and him are conveniently dressed up. You getting annoyed
- "Mira can't you see we're in the middle of a date," you say frustrated.
- "Oh are you? are you sure? you don't really look properly dressed." She makes a hmph sound and turns back to talking to your lover. He continues to push her away but she always comes back. Like a rubber band. You thought everything between you and Camilo were fine but I guess not because of the feeling of jealously and hurt burning throughout your chest. You get up and look at the two of them, hurt. More specifically at Camilo. He looks at you worried because he knows that look on your face. It reminded him of all the time you two would argue over situations exactly like this.
- You look to the side for a second contemplating on what to do but ultimately decide that today is just to much and grab your things and leave. Normally you would laugh and try to make a joke about this but something about today was not right. You leave without looking back, ignoring Camilos shout for their love. But he didn't have to worry considering Mira answered right back
- "Mi Amor I'm right here?" she says innocently. He pushes her off and quickly runs after you leaving that screeching bird behind and running to his true love. He looks in all of your little hiding spaces but finds them empty. He sighs looking defeated and trudges back to la casita. He enters the home depressed and face similar to a kicked puppy.
- There is where he finds you. Their face lights up and he quickly walks toward you.
- "A-ah Mi Vida! I found you! oh, you worried me..." He carefully walks in front of you crouching down to see your cute face but only for you to abruptly get up when he hears someone come down the stairs.
- "Y/n? Camilo? so early what are you two doing back?" says Pepa who is with her mother. You take a deep breath and shout
- "I think it's best that I step back from Camilo and let you guys continue with the marriage between them and Mira." with that you hurried out of there leaving everyone to come out of their rooms shocked. Camilo sinks to the floor staring at the ground, he starts to feel a sting in his chest.
- "camilo? what happened?" asked Abuela. Abuela loved you. She wanted you and Camilo to have a life together. She saw the way you made them so happy. She saw her in Camilo when he is with you and the same goes for you. She finds this odd.
