♡ 𝐇𝐘𝐔𝐍!

Regardless of the fact, she is still the self-conscious child she was. Wondering if all she had done was for the right side, or if people had been accepting of her actions or words. Or maybe... perhaps, she should have done this instead of that. It was the same jumble of thoughts and mishaps, but in the end... she has chosen to accept her actions and move on. 

Let’s not forget about her rage. Within her 158 centimeter stature, she miraculously carries this great deal of anger and rage without a care in the world. Though, she can admit with pride in her voice, that this is one of the few things that’s unique about her.

Now, among the few things that she believes is a daring change.. She is more accepting of her tendency to withhold burdens, worry, and stress to herself. These days, she has been making an effort to change that. She’s able to converse her feelings with peers she deems close to-- it makes her feel more humane than alone. She has also recently noticed that smiling has become an action she can almost do without forcing it. Unfortunately, if it weren’t for recent events, she feel like she would have accomplished it by now. But alas, here she realizes that her drive to move passed difficulties on her own is much more grand than before. 

She remembers those days when dark times or heavy days would hinder her process in recovery. Not just for a few moments, but for weeks and months at a time. She’d be stuck, pondering on whether or not it was well deserved, and forever bask in the negativity of it. It wasn’t a healthy thing to do, she knows that, but regardless of the fact -- she still let herself become swallowed in the vast darkness of adversity.

It was at this moment when she realized that the clouds were rolling in, blocking the sunlight from her vision and casting a shadow upon her; the world darkening with her. 

Isn’t it strange? 

How her thoughts are aligned at the same time the World chooses to have its dark moment?

This brings a chuckle to her lips, a grin of enjoyment. Here she goes personifying objects again, but she does take into account to how the sunlight is returning. It was only a few moments when the darkness had arrived, yet it’s moving along and letting the sunshine reclaim its place with confidence and assurance.

There was a...feeling growing inside of her. She doesn’t want to admit what she was feeling, but her chest was starting to feel heavy. Yet, at the same time, warmth had coursed through her as well. Her hand clasped onto the cloth that was covering her chest, where her heart was. She was hoping that having something to grasp would lessen the weight, but it only inflamed the feeling more.

The Sun was still shining despite having a moment of an intruder to block their rays from being as effortless as they should be... Yet, once the clouds pass, they return without a single faltering moment. They still shine so wonderfully, with no effort, giving and proceeding to emanate its greatness. 

Joohyun was starting to understand the emotions she was feeling. She understands why her chest is caving in, and why the warmth is spreading throughout her. 

She envied the Sun.

The Sun was capable of doing things that she couldn’t. To shine and be brave with or without the input of others. To never falter or hinder in the presence of fear or confrontation. Or perhaps even.. provide for everyone that needs them.

She broke her thoughts with an intake of air, deep and full before exhaling slowly. Her hand retreats from her chest and back out into the sunlight, grasping again onto its rays as if it were a tangible object but this time, with purpose. To want. To achieve. To be.
