When I mention that the human body really can't differentiate between about 113 and 122 degrees, I often have people ask me, how the hell do you survive out in that? I don't really have a response to it. You just do. I mean, yeah you can seek shade, you can have a bunch of water, you can douse yourself in water and everything, but while I absolutely detest these next three months, June, July, and August, leading into about the middle of September, I'm also extremely used to that baking heat. I just think of it as the price I pay to get nine months out of the year absolutely splendiferous.
