Oh, our little avian aficionado. Our ornithological enthusiast. I cannot sing your praises enough! Your stories are always so lovely, and inspiring, and they hit that perfect little ooey gooey center in my heart that reminds me time and time again why I love Hansry so much.

Below is a small portion of my thoughts on your work, spoiler free, because I encourage anyone who comes across this post to go and read these for yourself! You will not be disappointed!

amor et virtus is the best love letter to Hans and Henry I've read, and it hits on all the themes that I adore about those two. Their frienship, their shared hardships, Henry trying to be strong and Hans being there for him - as a comfort and a pillar of strength - when he finally breaks. This work lives rent free in my head, and I think of it quite often.

My Heart for Him to Hold is such a beautiful work showcasing Hans being his wonderful, competent, caring self - going out of his way to ensure everything is perfect so he could take care of Henry, as a friend and as a lover. To give Henry everything he needs. It's also a wonderful little character piece on Hans himself, his relationship with the various women in Henry's life, and how they relate to the women who shaped Hans' life. Also, there's chickens! I love Hans being a (reluctant) chicken boy.

To Love a Lord (Unfortunately) made me laugh so hard, despite the small emotional gut punches you threw in like a cheap shot when my back was turned. "His favorite color, yellow now he says, but you want to know what it might have been before the summer came." has been seared into my brain, and it perfectly encapsulates Hans wanting to know everything about Henry, not just as he is now, but the boy he'd been once. And it's cleverly written in a way that subverts expectations AND it's second person POV?! What in the hell, man!

So thank you for the work you've put into the fandom and community, for championing Henry being spoiled rotten and taken care of by his lord, his friend, his lover. And thank you for being one of my biggest inspirations for some of my own writing.
