hello again everyone! it is i, the frenchiest fry, here with another call for help this month! dgm hallow might have ended, but apparently sq crown will not be seizing the last of the hype and will instead release a new chapter that follows up on hoshino’s oneshot, ayakashi no ou.

We here at starbuds do the scanlations out of love, of course. ♥ But I am unfortunately usually the limiting factor in the release, since I am not a fast cleaner… I’ve always been happy to do what I have, but I’d like to see if we could release faster with any help anyone can offer!

I use photoshop cs6, along with topaz clean 3, denoise 3, and denoise 5 to some degree. I’d like it if anyone interested in this also had Photoshop and was available starting around 1pm EST on October 13! I would also appreciate advice about coordinating cleaners and typesetters working on separate pages in different steps…

I’ve seen a few posts about being nervous about joining the community as a dgm oc, and well I’d just like to say go right ahead!! this community really is for all fans of dgm, so I’d say feel free to create a blog and let us promo the shit outta ya! I feel, as long as everyone respects all the other blogs and their interactions (I know that theres probably a lot of canon/oc ships and really, just ask the blog if they’d be ok with that, or to start rps etc etc), everything will be neat!

the idea of “badlydrawn/poorlydrawn” has prexisted before this bddgm community - many other fandoms also have badlydrawns! essentially, we are art ask blogs/rp blogs that revolve around certain fandoms, predominantly fueled by silliness and also well, asks. a key draw point, of course, is our interactions with other blogs in the same fandom, and also, of course, the slightly less formalness of the blog - no need to put out high quality art, any level of art is fine etc.!

as just general advice about the blog, a way to possibly help everyone out would be to start off making posts about the oc’s past! little doodles of ur oc!! asks would most likely be rather slow until people have a grasp on ur character, and then fire off appropriate questions. we probably wanna know about ur oc for a bit!!  

its completely possible to exist as a solo, independent “badlydrawn” blog too - someone has tagged me wanting to be a badlydrawn blog as a character not from the dgm fandom, this is okay!! however, I unfortunately think I won’t be promoing you;; this is mainly a dgm blog but I’m flattered for the tags, honest!

Gardevoir for its beautiful form looking like a dress, specially on mega, which reminds of Katerina. Also it’s said to protect its Trainer even at the risk of its own life, which as a mother, I wouldn’t doubt that Katerina would do the same.

Lilligant for its fragrance of the garland on its head has a relaxing effect, and also looks like its using a dress, which I think it would suit Katerina too.
