UPDATE: SERIAL KIDNAPPER COMES FORWARD

July 19th, 2017 – As viewers of tonight’s broadcast may be aware, the six o’clock weather forecast was interrupted by an armed assailant who suddenly appeared from seemingly nowhere. With weatherman Davis Prior held at gunpoint, the intruder—a masked young woman—proceeded to take responsibility for not only the kidnapping of Comet News reporter Romeo Lacerda, but other unsolved cases dating as far back as November 2015 with Snedley Archambault, Roy Riese, Clay Anschuetz, Vaira Talwar, and several others before fatally shooting Prior and disappearing.

Below is a partial record of the incident, as well as a photograph of the assailant taken by Comet News staff member Wendy Alson. Viewer discretion is advised; the following contains content some viewers may find disturbing.
