Libraries are sneaky, because once you go in, it's soo easy to get a library card, and once you have one, you can pretty much grab one of everything of all the stuff they have there with no consequence, and take it home. But then once you're home and you've read all the stuff you'll have to go back to the library to return the stuff, and once you're at the library again, you're at the library again, so might as well pop in to see what they got, and then you're hauling half their shit home again, and then you'll need to return to the library to return them, so you're at the library again
And the next thing you know you've read 3000 books, your crops are clear and your skin is watered, an angel descents from the heaven to suck your dick twice a week, and also you've got some books to return so you've got a perfectly valid reason to go pop in to the library. Just a little bit.

Saving this post to show my boss who I told the AI flier makes us look lazy and ignorant, and offered to hand draw one. She still printed tons of ai fliers and I'm tempted to make a better one just because it annoys me so much.
Fun update: event was canceled because literally nobody rsvp'd to the AI flier.
so today a public health official guy came into my class to give a lecture on disaster awareness and he was talking about house fires and mentioned that the reason people most likely die during a house fire is because they refuse to leave their pet inside or they go back to get their pet. and right when he said this my friend immediately turned his head and looked at me and in that moment I had the most complete and genuine acceptance take over my body. I would 100% in front of my family and Jesus himself walk straight back into some raging inferno that was once my house to go get my fat cat. I nodded back
the best part of this post is reading all the tags from animal people who would also go back to save their pets. like no hesitation. walk backwards from heaven straight back into hell. someone even said they would go back for their fish. amazing
If you are a person who would walk into a blazing inferno for your animal, and your pet has free movement around the house, here’s a training exercise that could help save you both:
1) Set off your smoke alarm or play the sound on your phone (if your home has no smoke alarms, pease get some!)
2) stand BY THE FRONT DOOR to hand out treats
Do this a couple times and then keep it up NO EXCEPTIONS. Accidentally set the alarm off cooking? Treats by the door. Smoke alarm sound on TV? Treats by the door. Changing your smoke alarm batteries twice a year like you’re supposed to? Give them a test run and your pets get treats by the door.
Most dogs and cats will clue in VERY quickly that hearing that specific sound means go to the front door and wait for treats.
If there’s an emergency and even if you leave by another way, you will still know the most likely place your pet(s) is and can direct first responders to help.
You can also do this for any other kind of emergency alarm. My friend had both her cats trained to go to the front door for a tsunami siren.
The thing that really gets me about grace. And something that I also see misinterpreted a lot. Is that he’s not humble. He’s not modest. He doesn’t act the way he does out of humility or not wanting the spotlight. Ostensibly he is a drama queen and wants to be seen and he wants attention. Why do you think he called a man a staggering waste of carbon. Why do you think he’s Like That as a teacher. Why do you think he jumps at the chance to Be Right. He’s not humble he just deep down actually doesn’t believe he’s special. But he also knows that he has deeply specialized knowledge. He just has enough self hatred to genuinely believe that someone else could do what he’s doing without issue. Even though they couldn’t. He knows that in some corner of his brain but he ignores it because when you set your standards low you’re never disappointed if people dont actually like you

I did like backrooms and obsession, but it does bug me a lot when I see so many people in Hollywood praising those movies and I hear nothing about Iron Lung.
Sure Iron Lung didn’t do the same amount of crazy success that the other two did but like. Three YouTubers made three very successful horror movies this year, and it bugs me Hollywood is just not acknowledging Mark’s work.
