John portrays Tugger as a more seasoned lady-killer. he’s got intense hip thrusts and gyrations, he knows how to work a crowd, and he REVELS in it. he shows no respect to anything or anyone except old deuteronomy (and mistoffelees) and he really doesn’t care. when he’s not relishing in the attention from others, he tends to stay alone quite a bit. 

he’s very seductive, and his behaviors just seem very adult while still being slightly juvenile. he’s a complete rockstar, and he makes it evident. he loves the attention, and he has a voice like melted butter, and he clearly KNOWS how good he is. he’s literally just peak confidence. he’s a little shit, for sure, but it does seem like it’s become a force of HABIT for him to be that way, as he sings about. 

Tyler’s Tugger genuinely seems a lot younger. Like he’s a cat who’s not long since grown into his adulthood, discovering all these new feelings. he’s still pretty petulant and doesn’t like anyone taking his spotlight, constantly trying to shoo other cats away so he can be in the center stage. he acts like a spoiled child and grumbles and groans to scare off the other cats during his song. he’s very.. nuzzly.
