Talcott sighed, leaning up against the railing of the boardwalk at Galdin Quay. Gently tugging at his short sleeves, picking away at nothing. His eyes lifted enough to look out over the water, knowing full well that it was going to get dark soon, as it was getting darker earlier every day.
Turning to rest his hands against the top of the railing he climbed up on it, smiling softly as he heard Dino’s voice in his head.
“Okay Little Bambino,” The jeweler gently ruffled his hair. “You can do pretty much anythin’ you wanna do all day long, as long as it’s light. When it starts to get dark, I expect ya to be back in our room, capisce?”
He rested his arms on top of the railing as he watched the water. The Quay was quieter now that was for sure, but there was still things to do around the resort, like when Coctura was super nice and taught him how to make some of the things she cooked.
It was then he heard it. A loud meow right behind him. He went wide eyed a moment then turned his head to look, and sure enough, a cat was sitting there looking up at him expectantly.
“Hey…” he gently hopped down and got a bit closer. “What are you doing out here?”
