So excited to see some continual loses! Iām thinking itās because my metabolism has finally gotten back to normal. I havenāt worked out since like Friday. With Zach not able to make much money finances are very tight. Having to put food budget on the credit card. Had paid off about half that card and now itās on itās way back up š° love my fitness tracker itās really helped me keep my calories and nutrition on track. Even when I want to have a drink or eat a tortilla chip I can put it in my tracker and remain mindful and moderate my consumption knowing how much would be appropriate.

Just made the best smoothie everrrr
So this was the original recipe:
1 med banana frozen chunks
2T PB2
2T Cocoa Powder
1 dropper Chocolate Sweetdrops
3/4c Unsweetened Almond Milk
39g carbs 5g fat 8g protein
And it was so yummy! But then I remembered that I had a quarter container of Eat Enlightened Ice Cream! I added that and holy mold Iām licking the cup!! Get in my belly!
This added the following:
14g carbs 1.5g fat 6g protein
(Iām not eating any starch so my snacks I try to encorporate a lot of carbs)

Havent been consistent w weighing myself as this weekend was a whirlwind. Was happy to wake up and be closer to my phase 3 start weight. Almost done stabilizing šš¼
Friday: ate a normal breakfast but was too tired to grill my lunch as I started walking the dog in the am. Ate out at a local eatery and had a veggie bowl w coleslaw. It did come w rice and beans so that was the first starch Iāve had. Couldnāt finish the whole thing but it was so yummy! We had a friends birthday that night and I drank more than I expected to. Probably had 2 cocktails at dinner and two after dinner 𤮠Ordered a black and blue salad and it was so good to eat without having to cook!
Saturday: woke up late as I was feeling the night befores festivities. Zachs family was coming over for a camp out so we spent the day getting the yard ready. I mowed our entire acre of land and felt the burn! Zach had work so I worked on deep cleaning the house. Zachs family all have allergies and living in an RV w two animals is tough so I wanted them to be comfy. They arrived a few hrs before Zach and weāre in rare form. Itās a very unhealthy family dynamic and so I was so happy when Zach got home. Didnāt drink at all just tried to stay hydrated. I did find myself splurging with some tortilla chips (with hummus) and celery with peanut butter (pb wasnāt sugar free). Went to bed early to get away from the bickering.
Sunday:
Sunday I woke up early and got the house back in order. Enjoyed the am w Zachs mom who is just the sweetest, Zach is a lot like her which is why we get along so well. For breakfast and lunch I was good and ate to plan. Did a lot of meal planning prepping and shopping. Paid bills, ouch, and cleaned up the outside of the house. Dinner I finished off the food in the fridge before shopping and made a big batch of skinny broccoli cheddar soup!

Met with a girlfriend for dinner dessert and drinks on Saturday and although I made it as healthy as possible we polished off a magnum bottle of wine soooo not surprised I gained a few lbs. Just feels nice to enjoy a night out again but I do know my food this week is too high in fat and calories. I didnāt calorie count before grocery shopping (big mistake). Have to do some grocery shopping today so going to do a lot more planning. Car battery is dead so carpooling with Zach so definitely a crazy day!
Want to get serious again soon to drop again before I go home for the holidays!

Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken
10/10 would recommend, so yummy!!
I will be happily eating this all weekend for lunch! Itās got 500calories (17g carbs 30g fat 38g protein).
Recipe:
Marinate 4oz of Chicken (I used tenders) in 2T of Greek Dressing (I used Kens).
While that is marinating chop remaining ingredients into small pieces and place in large bowl.
1/2 9oz Bag of Romaine and Leafy Greens
5 Gourmet Medley Tomatoes (or any tomatoes you like)
8 pitted Kalamata Olives
2T Red Onion
5 Pepperoncini Peppers
1/4 container of imported feta (I used publix brand which is 7oz for the entire block)
Marinate chicken for 30min or longer. (Bulk Chicken was on sale so I cut it up into portions and put it in ziplock and the 4 pieces of chicken I knew Iād need for my salad I put the marinade in and popped them in the freezer and will defrost the day before. I may even grill it all tmo for Sunday Monday Tuesday.)
I grilled my chicken on high for about 5min flipping every 1-2min. Then diced and mixed with salad and 2T of Dressing!
Broccoli Cheddar Egg Muffins!
These are so yummy and easy to make with only 3 main ingredients!
Theyre 136 calories each (3g carbs 9g fat 11g protein) and I normally eat 1 for a mid morning snack. (You can also use spinach and feta or any veggie cheese combo you like).
Recipe (6 total servings):
Steam 6oz of broccoli and distribute evenly into 6 greased muffin tins. (I grease mine with coconut oil spray).
Sprinkle each tin with Cheddar Cheese (I use a total of 1c. for the entire 6trays and leave some to sprinkle on top).
In a small bowl or cup whisk 1 egg and season (I season mine with salt pepper onion and garlic powder).
Pour into muffin tin and gently tap tin so egg goes into every nook and cranny.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
I use a convection oven at 425 for 15min. For a regular oven Iād do 45 for 10min, but use your best judgement.
Obstacles
So we woke up this morning to figure out that Zach had left the windows open and I didnāt realize and turned the AC on all night. Woke up to find that our cat, Pierce, had pried open the screen to one of said windows and escaped. He is such an escape artist. So Zach had to go to school and heās normally the one to stay home and search. So I text work and wait 2 HOURS. No sign of pierce, so I know I only have 1 patient at 2 so I decide letās go in take her and come home and hopefully heāll be done with his adventure. Get in my car andddd it wonāt start. Call work and thankfully I have the best coworkers and weāre working it out but WHAT A MORNING. Itād be fine to stay home today but I need my car to run my errands and shit and Zach is at school alll day. So frustrating!

Woohoo, only 1 more lb till Iām back at my Phase 3 Day 1 Weight and I think Iām almost back stable. Itās been a busy week with having Zachs sister sleeping over but Iāve been working out and keeping my calories at around 1500. Wasnāt able to get groceries knocked out yesterday so going into the day less prepared but totally focused on my goals. Only things left in my fridge were some applesauces Iāll eat for breakfast and some olives Iāll have as a snack. Iāll get some type of salad for lunch and go grocery shopping after work. āļøāļøāļø

Down -2lbs from yesterday and up 3lbs since Day 1. So excited and hoping my body has finally reset and we can go back to losing! Just keeping my net calories at 1500 and exercising to some extent every single day. Letās do this!

Back on Track
Friday was the day I found out about losing Matt and it didnāt hit me till about 4am Saturday Morning. Just woke up to such a flood of emotion. Talked to Zach about it on our way to our cruise and it helped. Cried a little and then moved on, heās always so good at knowing when to listen and when to get my mind off the subject. I woke up early Saturday and ate my normal breakfast. 2 Eggs w Turkey Sausage Peppers and Onion with cheddar. Cold Brew w 1/2&1/2 and Chocolate Sweetdrops. Took a peach and with us and ate it when we got there (itās a 2 hr drive). So my mother is pretty reserved/traditional and some of the things she doesnāt like are smoking, gambling, and drinking & eating in excess as we have a lot of addiction in my family. Sheās so sweet and when we lost our New Orleans trip she got us a Dinner cruise on Victory Casino Cruise. Zach and I immediately knew it was a booze cruise but nothing prepared us for what we arrived to. You get on the boat and it looks like Las Vegas but the cheapest version on the inside the crew clap while you walk on and the girls are, not exaggerating, wearing the Halloween slutty Sailor costume. Itās bottom floor is a cafeteria, the second is slot o mania, third is the main casino and the fourth floor is the stage and outside dolphin bar. Every floor smoking is allowed. I used to smoke cigarettes but know it makes me nauseated so it was rough because even outside they were smoking. We had free drink cards and drinking is free on the casino floor. We went first to get a drink and I had a Red Wine. Then we went to the cafe I loaded up on water. Ate steamed broccoli, roast chicken(no skin), and a salad with oil and vinegar. We went to the casino floor I had another glass of wine (entered all calories into fitness tracker). Played black jack and ended up winning all the money we spent on tips and on blackjack back so ended up spending no money. Started to get nauseous from the cigarette smoke. We headed back around 3 and the band played which was like a knock off nickelback type band. Then a women started POLE DANCING in the middle of all these retirees it was crazy. Got home around 6 and took the animals over to Zachs parents. Ate my normal dinner and ended up only over my 1500 cal by 200. Today I ate the same thing I have been and tmo will get back to Normal tracking. Just needed a day to be ānormalā. Worked out tonight and feel good. I havenāt weighed in, think Iāve gained but idk just gotta kee trekkng along.

Good byes
Found out today that one of my old friends and one of my first āboyfriendsā passed away. By āboyfriendsā I mean I was obsessed with him. Looking back at the way I acted towards him back then I can definitely see it being the start of my BPD. However, I donāt think his passing wouldāve hit me so hard if we hadnāt been speaking recently. He moved to FL a year or so a go and would ask for my boyfriend and I to visit all.the.time. But of course we never had the money or time. Just last weekend we were catching up and he seemed.. down. In middle school he was hands down one of the closest people in my life. Went through hell together with bullying and the beginning of mental illness that I think we were both too young to see. Weād stay up for literal hours just talking about everything. Eventually he grew out of his awkward phase got huge and his bullies became his friends and although we remained friends we were never quite as close. Last I spoke to him he was having issues making friends down here because he didnt trust anyone. He was also telling me about the new gun he bought his dad. Stopped responding to him because I didnāt know what else to say (my boyfriends the gun enthusiast not I) and I wish I just said something, anything. Iām not sure how he passed but knowing his history and where we come from the assumption is drugs. But also knowing Matt drugs or no drugs I have a feeling he was ready, but the people he left behind were not. My heart aches for his closest friends and family. Weāve lost so many friends and classmates to drugs itās hard to keep track at this point. Feels good to get some of it out of my head because Iām not real good with expressing my emotions. RIP Matt you will forever have left an imprint on my soul...

Iām now up officially 4lbs and i could cry, I donāt know why this is happening. Iām working so hard, I donāt know what I need to change. Iām working out every day, I havenāt had any starches or sugars. I feel so out of control of my own body. Itās like the harder I work the more weight I gain...
