what is your usual process of lifting from start to end? (Like a step by step)
depends what i’m lifting, if it’s clothes normally ill take afew decoy items always one thing with pockets and use them + my scarf to conceal afew things in my hand bag like today i fit in a huge fleece nike jacket an adidas jumper and a tommy hillfiger tshirt in my handbag in urbs by rolling them up and pulling them in there hid in the clearance section (lol i’m a savage) then i’ll go “try on” the decoys and remove the tags from the clothes in my bag with my golf detacher, put then in a pocket of one of the decoys then i take that back out of the fitting room and go and put it back myself and i also got a adidas sports bra i couldn’t be fucked to go into the changing room and my golf detacher was in my pocket so i stuck the tag to it and took it off in a blind spot through my pocket and put it in my bag all behind my scarf i do that quite a lot with small items like that lol but i wouldn’t recommend it’s risky af. If i was lifting make up ill usually use my phone or a leaflet and pick up two put one behind pretend to read the other one and pretend i don’t want it and put it back while at the same time i’m concealing the other one behind my scarf into my handbag so on camera they would be focused on my hand that’s holding the product. any bigger items i’ll normally get a basket and buy things like baby wipes or cotton pads and cover it with that then go conceal in a blind spot! i mostly lift on my own & i dress well, i’m 20 but look a lot older so i never get questioned or even looked at twice i think dressing the part and acting confident and like you’re actually browsing around interested in everything, wanting to try everything on, checking the price tags, being polite to SA’s and saying you don’t need any help but thanks anyway, not looking up at cams and not constantly looking around the store & the way you act in general are all key to not causing any suspicion!

Please make a new groupchat! I'm new and would really love to talk to everyone! 🔮
Sure thing, lovebug 🐞 I will do my best to do that this week. I’m just so busy with midterms
All the info you will ever need
Being the OCD person I am, I organized all the tips by store & various topics. I made this as a page yesterday, but the links wouldn’t work, so here’s a post.
As stated before, this is a role-play blog, & if you attempt any of these, you are doing so at your own risk. Shoplifting is illegal, especially if you’re over 18 (in the US. not sure about other countries) Thanks for playing along! :)

People that use magnets have purchased them from AliExpress, Ebay, & Amazon. The most popular one is the N52 neodymium magnet.
Many stores have magnet detectors!!!
Checks for tags EVERYWHERE. Some are hidden in seams of clothing! Some are hidden underneath bar codes!
Unless you’re a pro, avoid these stores: WalMart, K-Mart, Kohls, JC Penny, Target, Macy’s, Dillards, Belks, Neiman Marcus, & other department stores.
NEVER shoplift at church sales, thift stores (except Salvation Army lmao), & yard sales. NEVER rob people.

Reblog!
Hello everyone So I’ve been thinking, in my normal everyday life I can’t really talk to anyone about my second life on Tumblr. I mean I can but talking to likeminded lifters isn’t easy. I passed by a post recently about wanting to make a community of people who can support and help each other. A community that can grow, teach, learn and understand each other. Let’s be real this sounds amazing. So I thought I’d give it a try?
So if you want to be part of the community and you:
- are 15 to 19
- have a love for creating things
- lift but also have a life without lifting
- are active on social media
- enjoy lifting 🛍😁
If you are any of the above please reblog this post. I will pick some of you to be part of this community. I’m gonna start it small and see what happens from there.
So again reblog this because likes don’t count and I won’t take you into consideration for this group ❗️❗️
Stay safe guys ❤️❤️❤️

Nordstrom Nordstrom has possibly the most famously liberal return policy among the major retailers. First of all, there’s no time limit. Party City With Receipt: items must be returned within 30 days after purchase for refund or store credit; lots of items (cosmetics, hosiery, seasonal items, wigs, etc.) are nonrefundable Without Receipt: may issue store credit without receipt, but it’s up to the manager LP: stores usually have at least one LP person working; there are cameras near registers and at a couple of other places throughout the store, there are still lots of blindspots though; some areas of the store (like the wedding stuff section or the stationery section) are pretty dead and usually don’t have cameras; most locations don’t use security tags on anything. *Info From Kaiju*
Petsmart The mega pet store offers full refunds for returns with receipt within 60 days of the purchase. After that, merchandise credit is issued. Petsmart even accepts returns of items purchased at other retailers, even competitors, with the original receipt for merchandise credit or exchange. LP..not active. After that, any return without a receipt gets store credit in the form of a Target gift card only useable on items from the same department. LP…. Active. Normally 1 to 3 AP at all times. They probably have the most cameras of any retailer, but about 40 to 45% of the camera domes in newer stores will be fake. In older stores, there will be only 60 cameras for the entire sales floor.

i found this in that lp magazine, dont know if anyone would find it helpful or not but it has some info on tags, idk
this is scary dude
I’m not familiar with these tags and got excited thinking that I could remove it with my magnet, but it wouldn’t come off. I stuck it to the pointed side and it made a click noise, but wouldn’t come off. So, are magnets supposed to remove these?
Yes magnets will remove those tags! Specifically a golf detacher. If it doesn’t come off right away try swirling it around or pulling it off and trying again 👍🏻👍🏻
💎lifted faves💎 100% lifted, 100% happy
One year ago, my entire makeup collection fit in one small ziploc bag.
now, it’s overflowing countless high end makeup bags and numerous drawers in my dresser. i remember, two years ago, saving up to buy a $10 revlon foundation at target, and now i can get two or three $40-$50 high end foundations for free within 20 minutes. lifting has truly changed my life and lifted my spirits. it is true that physical items can’t make you happy, but they CAN make you more confident and less stressed - and this has truly played an integral part in my path to happiness.

strategies from a specialist **SUBMISSION**
posting this in case you didn’t already see it
Recently discovering this visible offshoot of the ‘lifting’ community, I wanted to offer some advice. First of all I strongly advocate anyone ‘fighting’ capitalistic society and especially in the long history of ‘magicians’ making things disappear. These types of communities have been documented since the 1500’s and its interesting to see how the internet can aid them in todays context. I am 49 years old and have had a tumultuous profession on both sides of these magic tricks. What started as a flirtatious teasing of the law with my best friend from highschool became and long and electric period of stings in the 80’s. Starting with bra’s and lipstick to Gucci bags and Lamborghini’s and everything in between. Eventually we were caught. I have only been released from prison in the last five years. And I tell you, I still have it in me. But Im not here to give you my biography, I want to offer some tips that i’ve learned from recently being back in the magic show. One thing that hasn’t changed is, its always best to have someone on the inside. From Best Buy to Barney’s, the sales clerk can be your ticket. These people are the source of all the information you need. Get to know them, one is all it takes. I used to date a private investigator in NYC, he taught me a lot. But with the internet, we can all be our own P.I.’s. Finding the witty gay guy that works at H&M on facebook or instagram is one thing but finding the loss prevention representative or LP manager is another. Once you get to know a store, I mean really get to know her, she can be all yours. Depending on the heist and the profits will usually determines my dedication. Employee scheduling, inventory estimates, security measures, job listings for LP’s to see when the store is vulnerable, how is the stock exchange treating that company this month, this year, even knowing the manager lunch breaks can give you the perfect opportunity in making that elephant disappear. It looks like a lot of you get hot by just fingering lip gloss, which I adore, so I don’t want to impede if walking the highline is not for you. But even so I hope I can help in any form of lawful ;) larceny…
A lot of things have changed since the 80’s of course. I can no longer walk into Tiffany’s or Chanel and do what I used to but some things never change, Confidence and Direction. Confidence from a perfectly fitting attire and Direction from a well educated plan. There is a small society of professional thieves in my city, but lets not call them that. Magicians are all around us and the most important thing is that you don’t see them. Stealth is a charm that can be acquired but the naturals know who they are. High level stealth is a custom modified Givenchy tote and silent stilettos to accommodate a new $25 dollar lipstick through the slip in the back of the bag. A look that is impossible to accuse of such small crimes. Or how to blend with the masses but look dignified and unique. An air of conviction that tells people your white magicians gloves have never been dirtied with theft. This all does take a lot practice, to commit to something that our society believes to be shameful, unlawful or dirty. So the need to educate yourselves on capitalism, consumerism, corporate dominance and abuse of power, marxism, philosophy, ideologies, politics, etc to empower yourselves is crucial to realizing this exercise of deceiving the law is not against a healthy moral. And in this knowledge you will be able to build your confidence…to master the illusion. Or you can continue to lift panties for that quick cheap high. And in that case, any brand of tote bag is helpful to tailor to your needs. Try cutting a slit in the back of a Trader Joe’s bag and sewing a flap on the inside so nothing will come back out. This is a more discreet way of getting small products into your bag without the obvious motion of reaching over the top. This can also work in an purse with the right needle work to make it discreet. This is how me and my girlfriend began, taking two lipsticks at once sliding one into the slit of the purse and then putting the other one back in place. We came to understand the obviousness of some movements, motioning quickly into a bag or pocket, the bag clenched tight to the body, stiff shoulders… you must avoid this at all costs as these rigid human behavoirs among so many others trigger alarms in sales clerks, security guards etc. Becoming natural, care free and confident can make a blatant action of thievery look as if it was your mascara in the first place. I have stolen thousand dollar pieces while the sales representative was staring me right in my eyes, smiling. Always smile back.
And one characteristic of a good magician, is they never tell their secrets and they never flash their loots. But I find this community very endearing and I want to help. Another good characteristic is they always give back, in someway or another.
if you’d like to know more tips, more realistic ones to target your needs or full blown operations I am ready to help. If not, its nice to know what the kids are up to ; )
