That's Life!

Here are my new ocs I've been working on lately: Jessie Costello and Amos King!

Jessie Costello is an ex-cop private detective/vigilante. The original idea was a classic noir private detective with all the same stereotypical mannerisms and actions that they have, but the sultry, deep voice of a femme fatale widower client that would normally come in for help. The setting is like 1940s-1950s (maybe with retro futuristic elements, I never decided). She’s a private detective/vigilante because she did all the work to join the force, and they wouldn't let her be a detective; they put her on "woman" jobs. (Meter maid, doing paperwork, etc.) So she quit and started doing the work herself. She beats the living shit out of people, loves to snoop, and solves cases.

She has an informant who's a corrupt police officer named Amos King, who gives her info, evidence, and paperwork, and is madly in love and lust with her. I think he probably does more office work, but does some field stuff. He sneaks her documents for cases she wants, especially if it's a case the police have been neglecting, and the family have come to her. He’s just obsessed with her and wants her so bad. She helps him and the police solve stuff all the time, so that's what he gets in return besides the privilege of being around her. He is alive because he's useful to her, but he is a sex pest to her. If he wasn’t useful, she would kill him in one punch.
