*¡ â,.- âThis time and place, it just does not⌠feel right?â Jean knew that this was for sure no explanation, it was more making her sound slightly insane instead, for sure. But, it was as it was. The mutant had found herself here without planning to come to this place, and the fact that she was not able to reach anyone from her team did not make it any better, either.
âI am just not supposed to be here. And my phone does not work, either, andâŚ. apologies for sounding like I might be insane. Still trying to wrap my head around this all.â
Professor Xavier would maybe say that things like this would be possible, given there was a mutant powerful enough to cause them. But the professor was not here, as far as Jean knew. âAnd, even when I even sound more insane now - would you mind telling me what date we have today, maybe?â
Billy paused. The whole thing seemed so familiar, as if itâs something heâs encountered before.
And it was. His eyes lit up as he tries to stop the countless words trying to reach his mouth at the moment. The woman might be scared off, and that was the last thing that he needed to happen. Instead, Billy thought of another way to explain to the woman.
âI think I might have the answer for that.â He simply replied, then flashed a grin. âDonât worry, youâre not insane. This is totally real.â
He cleared his throat. âItâs 1974. I think itâs like..February now. But, yeah, time travel.â He finished.Â
