Phasor?

The last few years were some of the hardest I’ve lived; full of quiet battles and invisible wounds that left me broken inside.

I loved deeply and stayed because I believed love could heal and promises meant change. I gave everything; love, patience, hope and much more. But loving someone unwilling to face their damage is like trying to catch smoke with bare hands. It slips through and leaves you empty.

This wasn’t normal pain. It was emotional abuse:

I was gaslighted into questioning my own feelings and reality.

My pain was ignored or denied, making me feel like a burden.

The boundaries I set were repeatedly crossed, even when I was vulnerable.

Trust was shattered again and again through lies, silence, and broken promises.

The love I gave was met with blame, coldness, and punishments disguised as peace.

Silent treatments felt like punishment. Truth twisted to fit her story. I was called “too sensitive” when I was simply hurting.

I tried to be clear about what I needed, but my voice was ignored or turned against me. This wasn’t weakness, it was survival.

She loved me in her way, but that love wasn’t enough. Gifts and grand gestures masked the real damage, emotional neglect and denial. At the end, a flicker of regret came too late. She lost me, and hurt me in ways she couldn’t see.

If you’ve been told you’re “too sensitive” or “overreacting” or “That’s not true,” or “You’re remembering it wrong,”; your pain is real. You’re not weak. You deserve to be seen, heard, and respected.

To anyone causing this pain: recognize the damage you’re causing. True love means courage, to face truth, change, and respect boundaries.

I share this not for pity, but to shine light on silent, devastating abuse. If you see yourself here, know it’s okay to walk away. You deserve better.

Surviving means reclaiming your worth, your truth, your peace. Standing firm when everything tried to convince you otherwise.

To anyone doubting themselves after a toxic relationship: Your pain was real. Your feelings mattered. Walking away wasn’t failure; it was survival.

I’m done letting this story be twisted. I survived the unseen war. Now, I take back my life, on my terms.
