Wearing Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour liquid lipstick in Blue Velvet and Kat von D's tattoo liner. Both are new to me. These days unfortunately I don't have a chance to wear much eye makeup so I make up for it in bold lips all day everyday. Liquid eyeliner is still super new to me since I've always felt like it's difficult for monolids to wear winged liner, or just liner on the lid in general.

Fotd I did just this past weekend. I thought it came out so awesomely. I was aiming for a neutral look but still wanted it to pop and be noticed. I added Sugarpill's Love+ in the crease, which is something I usually reserve for dramatic looks but it blended seamlessly in with the other neutral colors! Used Urban Decay's Naked palette for the rest of the look. :) I believe the lid color is Midnight Cowboy? Which is beautiful except for the glitter fallout argh. Lips I used Revlon balm stain in lollipop which I love. They are awesome to use if you want an easy application and need it to stay on forever :D Hope you enjoyed!

Fotd from a couple of weeks ago. The lighting was horrible so the color is really off :(. Basically did my signature look with Sugarpill's Love + in the crease and a mix of purples on the lid and lower lashline. Obviously I used Nyx's Milk to highlight my inner corners and used my favorite Giorgio Armani's liquid lipstick. It's the perfect long lasting blue red. Love it tons :D Hope you enjoyed!

Some products used: Makeupgeek eyeshadow in Neptune (lovely matte blue) Inglot shimmery light blue in inner corners Urban Decay matte brown in crease (from Naked palette) Inglot shimmery navy blue in outer corner Inglot true blue in lower lash line Also used a Nars blush that I can't recall the name of :/ and a combo of Revlon's lipstick in pink truffle and lilac Overall I really enjoyed it and hope you did too :) Have a great day!

Sorry for the hiatus. My life has been all over the place in the past dew months. It is beginning to stabilize to say the least. Anyway! FOTD I did the other day. I liked it :). Used some neutral browns in my Urban Decay Naked palette to help define my nonexistent crease. Used the Ben Nye Lumiere palette --- shadow in Cosmic Violet as the main lid color. Used MakeupGeek's Purple Rain in the outer v area. Darkened it with UD Darkhorse? I used some other stuff but I haven't been writing down what I've been using anymore because I lost the notebook that I used to write it in :( For my lips I used Revlon lipstick in Lilac --- which is one of my few light colored lipsticks. I like how you can dab it for an almost MLBB look or you can apply it a little bit heavier for a nice light pink (which is how I wore it today) Hope you enjoyed, until next time!

My daily FOTD on a normal work weekday -- today showcasing the super popular this spring Maybelline color sensational vivid in Vivid Rose (quite a mouthful!) So yes, they are completely worth the hype. I've known about these for months and have always been planning to buy them. Since I have plenty of lippies to cycle through I wasn't in a huge hurry. I also already knew that I would like them. Note that this lip swatch is done LIGHTLY. So jackpot on pigmentation! They wear pretty well, not long wearing as in drying/ hard to remove. As others have said, they have a translucency but the pigmentation makes it not noticeable. One of the issues I had with them are that they have a gross plasticky scent -- NOT a fan. Thank goodness it fades quickly but it still grosses me out. Anyway! This is usually what I wear to work everyday. I do my brows, put on a little blush, sometimes contour and a nice bright lip color. Sometimes I'll dust powder but rarely will I put I foundation ( too heavy for everyday wear). Hope you enjoyed!

FOTD - 3/20/13 Standard monolid neutral look using eyeshadows from Urban Decay's Naked Palette Before the Naked palette, I wasn't really a fan of neutral colors and thought they were boring. But it converted me and I now love warm browns as much as I do a royal purples :) Products used: UD Buck in crease and blended up UD Sidecar on lid and brought into inner corners UD Darkhorse in outer v UD Creep along the outer upper lash line UD Smog on the lower lash line I think Sidecar would be a much better color if it didn't have glitter in it. To me eyeshadows with glitter mean fallout and that's totally what happened. I didn't use a brighter inner corner highlight or put Nyx's Milk underneath because I wanted more of a no-makeup makeup look. Now, I just want to say that I can't quite achieve that perfect no-makeup makeup look if I choose to use eyeshadow (still working on it!) because of my monolids. Anyway hope you enjoyed :)

FOTD - 2/22/13 First off sorry the picture quality sucks. I was in a major hurry and snap a bunch right before I sped out the door. I tried to fix them up with photo app... Best I could do :/ Anyway this look was SUPER dark. I tend to not do these that often because they can be quite hard to pull off for me. It can easily look like you've been punched in the face of you aren't careful. One the reasons I wanted to do this kind of look was because I thought it would be the perfect time to try out my Lorac 3D Lustre!! It's actually tricky to work with. Don't get me wrong, the effect can be AMAZING but two things: the product is super concentrated so a tiny droplet is more than enough & the liquid it comes suspended in is by no means a base ---- once that dries, the shimmer is free to move around. If you wipe it, it'll come off. Horrible staying power. Anyway! Here's what I used: Make up for ever aqua cream #1 as a base Urban Decay Creep on lid + took it up and blended into outer corner UD Buck on lid and blended back and forth to blend out creep UD Naked slight above where I put Buck and blend up into brow bone Lorac 3D Lustre drops over NYX jumbo pencil in Milk in inner corners Whoop! FOTD - 3/16/13 Did this look for a Saturday night out, day before St. Patty's Day I liked it well enough. Nothing special I guess. Green is kinda hard to see in the dark lol. Only thing I added was some Armani lip maestro in 500 :) Shadows used: Urban Decay Buck in the crease and blended up Starsmakeuphaven Fresh on lid; I've mentioned this before but it's my all-time HG perfect green eyeshadow :D Mac Centre Stage in outer V Starsmakeuphaven Mint Julep in inner corners Loreal HIP duo (a dark forest green) on the outer lower lash line Hope you enjoyed!

NOTD - dotted manicure Used OPI Tickle my Francey for the base coat Used a China Glaze glitter for my accent nail but I really just should have left it blank I enjoy the subtlety of the nails but I prefer bright and loud patterns. I love OPI Tickle my Francey! It's a BEAUTIFUL nude-ish color but has enough mauve in it to give the color some kick. Hope you enjoyed!
