The book that I was currently reading was Roseflower Creek by J.L. Miles. I give this book a 8.5/10 rating. I give it this rating because overall I absolutely loved the story I just did not like the way the words were written. This story tells the short life of young Lori Jean Dodson. It tells about some of her favorite people and some of the people who were not so favorite to her. When her Memaw dies and Ray, her mother’s boyfriend, moves into their home all heck breaks lose. Ray is a mean mean man and only wants money and doesn’t care about Lori Jean and her Mama at all. He makes that fact proven when he steals the money from the factory and kills one of them over it. Throughout this story you learn to love Lori Jean and love the people that she loves as you take this adventure through her eyes.
