So I imagine this would take place during the first Rayman Arena after the events of Rayman 3. Mabel would absolutely be a part of it, however Murfy didn't know that.

The arc starts with Mabel getting snatched up by Mr. Dark(who I can't draw for shit), who pretty much manipulates and threatens her in order to get her to do dirty work for him. Afraid that he would hurt her loved ones, she agrees to help him. With a darkness filled handshake, Mabel becomes a part of his group.

Meanwhile, Murfy and Rayman notice her absence when Mabel doesn't meet up with Murfy. They go to look for her, only to find her causing havoc(mainly to areas of nature, she really didn't want to hurt anyone). She ends up fleeing, unable to keep up her facade in front of them. Once she flees, Rayman and Murfy go to tell Reesie and Globox about what they discovered.

Not long after getting back, Mr. Dark tasks Mabel with dealing with Rayman in the others once they arrive. She's hesitant but agrees that she will if they show up. She becomes a little friendly with Raymesis while at Mr. Dark's castle, promising to help him talk with Reesie(his sister) again once everything was over with.

When Rayman and the other's make it to Mr. Dark's castle, Mabel steps in between Mr. Dark and Rayman, attempting to make them leave. When they refuse, she lunges at Rayman and swings her fists at him, intentionally missing, but eventually shoving him backwards in an attempt to get him away from her. She gets ready to blast dark energy(that Mr. Dark infused in the agreement handshake) at Rayman(mainly as a scare tactic). However, Murfy gets in between her and Rayman. It's at that moment that her facade begins to break again. She lowers her quivering hand and refused to continue. Mr. Dark snaps at her to do her job. She refuses, stating that she loves them. Murfy doesn't waste any time and flies over to hug Mabel, who is sobbing at this point.

The hug, however, doesn't last long, as a furious Mr. Dark uses the darkness he infused into Mabel's body as a means of grappling her. He holds her up and continues his threats until Raymesis, who was off to the side while all of this was going down, forces Mr. Dark to drop Mabel. He tells off Mr. Dark before joining Rayman and Reesie in taking him down. After the battle was done, they noticed that Mabel wasn't in the best condition, her body slowly repelling the dark energy that Mr. Dark had infused previously. Rayman and the others bring her home, Raymesis joining alongside them.

After laying Mabel down, they ask her questions about what happened. Through wheezes and weakness, she tells them that she was trying to protect them and Helena. Not wanting to cause her more distress, they tell her to rest, Murfy staying to comfort his ill girl. Reesie also stays with Mabel, not wanting to leave her best friend in her current condition. After a night's rest, the darkness had all but left Mabel's body, leaving her tired and weak, but filled with regret, despite no one blaming her for the incident.
