Do you know those necklaces that were given to you as a child and had the first letter of your name on them? What if that is, in an alternative reality, the token you give to your partner once you are sure you want to settle down with them. Like "Here, this was given to me by my mother once I was born, it bares the first letter of my name, I am now giving it to you so I could always be by your side."

I see so many ships where the characters are actually just really close friends and should be best friend goals but instead the fans go "oh no, we cannot have these characters being so close to each other and not liking each other, let's make them gay (or straight too)."
I feel like that is destroying our friendship definitions. People nowadays can't even be close friends anymore without getting shipped. Especially guys and friends of the opposite gender.
But like in fiction it gets tiring. Every single duo gets romanticized. Why? What is wrong with friends? Why should friends be any less than lovers? And why can't they be as close if not even closer than the lover?
Sometimes the whole point of the story is that they are not in love, and people still ignore that. I'm tired of it, I'm tired that instead of idolising and normalizing closeness between friends of all shape and form, people instead chose to throw it away and replace it with the "real love".
The fact that Sebastian has so many fans and fanfics, mostly because of his looks (I don't like his personality that much, sorry, however I don't hate him, don't get me wrong) and San Bakar, the most gorgeous man I've ever seen in this game, who loves magical beasts, has an amazing voice, recognizes when magic goes too far and is not afraid to do what is right, HAS ONLY TWO FICS, tch.
One of said fics is mostly smut and it's a teacher student relationship, no thank you, and the other is a 15/31 chapters ongoing 62 thousand words long fanfiction. I am still deciding if I want to read that, I'm not sure that I like the tags.
More people need to write about him.

I absolutely love it when it's nighttime and you are trying to sleep and you can hear all that is happening outside. The silent noises of the night, the cars that pass thru, the distant voices of people talking with their friends. It is all so calming.
I love the night time. I love being awake and around at night, walking. Everything is so much calmer. I really hope I will be outside at night more this summer.
