Compiled some basic information I know about drawing fat characters for beginners since I've been seeing more talk about absence of really basic traits in a lot of art lately.

Ok, here’s what I got:

1. Your parent: Loof Merrow (Hikari Ono) (oh ok. that sounds nice!)

2. Your sibling: Setsuna (Yuuko Hosaka) (Setsuna is more of a mama but I’m sure she would make a great big sis!)

3. Your grandparent: Makoto (Emi Kuryama) (that’s an odd family but ooh lots of granny cakes and cookies! clearly a win)

4. Haunts you: Tiger’s Eye (Ryuuji Kasahara) (makes sense I guess. At least he eventually gets better!)

5. Your boyfriend/girlfriend: Michiru (Yuuka) (oh. Lucky me I got a shot before she got together with Haruka I guess XD)

6. Your ex: Haruka (Nao) (well now that’s just awkward XD Was it before they met or is Michiru trying to make Haruka jealous? I wouldn’t complain! Fake dating!)

7. Your best friend: Sailor Galaxia (Tamami) (well something went terribly wrong here! Then again this is old myu Galaxia so I suppose it could work. Though she might still kill me considering my allegiances XD)

8. Proposed to you: Minako (Ayumi Murata) (was she drunk? Perhaps. Flattered anyway)

9. Your boss: Usagi (Anza or Miyuki) (Ooh am I a Senshi? That’s cool! Also, Kaguya Island and (new) Moon Kingdom unite! Though Galaxia is definitely onto me then XP)

10. The random person you met at the bar: Seiya (Sayuri) (was it a bar on Earth or did we meet while going away from Galaxia’s murderous rampage, I wonder?)

11. Your rival: Mamoru (Yuu or Kenji) (I can’t possibly imagine in what way we would be rivals but okay XD a friendly rivalry it is!)

12. Gave you your first kiss: Rei (Misako kotani) (oh ok nice)

13. Drunk and singing karaoke with: Ami (Ayako Morino) (why is Ami drunk? Actually why am I drunk? Must have been a particularly impressive (battle? academic?) victory for this XD)

14. Played 7 minutes in heaven with: Count Dracul (it had to be the vampire huh)

15. Gave you your favourite dessert: Queen Beryl (Yuri Nishina) (that has to be a trap. Does it have something to do with my “rivalry” with Mamoru? My work with Usagi? Or is this when she and Galaxia teamed up? Was I there? Am I evil too? Was I trying to reason with Galaxia and so Beryl was messing with me? Questions, questions…) 

Since I have been finally freed from the clutches of real life responsibilities in the form of final exams, I think it's finally time to drop MORE of my Sailor Moon musical gifs (to also celebrate the recent release of Sailor Moon Cosmos) where today I would like to appreciate Sailor Moon bravely squaring up against enemies on her own while the rest hypes her up in the background like an awesome fighting game sequence.

What makes it amazing to me is that prior to this, the rest of the senshi were having difficulty getting the upper hand when they're the ones fighting them (Galaxia understandably because it's Galaxia) and then suddenly, this blonde girl with tennis balls on her head, a tri-color three-layered skirt, and big fluffy wings appeared out of the blue and gracefully threw hands.

(La Moon is a little difficult to show due to the fast constant changing of shots but I would totally recommend you all to watch the videos yourselves because watching it with music just puts it all together beautifully. Also Uranus, where are you going?)

Its a redraw of old anthro bluestar design i made a while ago. I still think its neat :]

Fabulous Girl’s kick

Apologies for the messy lineart - this is a scan of a pen drawing - but I decided to do a redesign of Eternal Sailor Moon, the uniform that would be palette-swapped for the other Senshi and the Sailor Starlights (because what even was that unattached collar?)

I swapped out the cardboard wings for a cape that would transform into wings (not sure what they’d look like, but probably Queen Serenity’s faerie wings). I also changed the weird ball sleeve things into a fluttery loose layered cap and altered the shape of the skirt as it goes over the hips, because that always bothered me. As well as simplifying the brooch because I kinda liked the idea of wings in place of a bow, I put back the underbust border. I liked the pattern of it so I turned it into a motif. I tried to kinda emulate the patterns on Princess Serenity’s gown.

The more standard Eternal uniform is kinda like a simplified version, and I modified the Stars top to look like it would actually offer some… you know, support. Redesigned the shorts to look a bit more naval/sailory but I mostly kept the gloves and boots as they are because I don’t dislike them that much.

The most significant change, I think, is in the boots of all of them. Pointed toe shoes are uncomfortable at the best of times, but in COMBAT?! Plus lower/thicker heels.
