Great dialogue can come from radical emotional honesty. But in most real conversations, people

dodge questions

answer indirectly

lie (badly)

change the subject

crack jokes to avoid serious answers

lie (convincingly)

say half of what they mean

tell the truth but get so anxious/angry/defensive others now think they're lying

If your dialogue feels unnatural, it might be because everyone is saying exactly what they think, or articulating their thoughts too well. Try letting characters hide things instead.

Can you do some about these?

Compiled some basic information I know about drawing fat characters for beginners since I've been seeing more talk about absence of really basic traits in a lot of art lately.

2. Your sibling: Setsuna (Yuuko Hosaka) (Setsuna is more of a mama but I’m sure she would make a great big sis!)

3. Your grandparent: Makoto (Emi Kuryama) (that’s an odd family but ooh lots of granny cakes and cookies! clearly a win)

4. Haunts you: Tiger’s Eye (Ryuuji Kasahara) (makes sense I guess. At least he eventually gets better!)

5. Your boyfriend/girlfriend: Michiru (Yuuka) (oh. Lucky me I got a shot before she got together with Haruka I guess XD)

6. Your ex: Haruka (Nao) (well now that’s just awkward XD Was it before they met or is Michiru trying to make Haruka jealous? I wouldn’t complain! Fake dating!)

7. Your best friend: Sailor Galaxia (Tamami) (well something went terribly wrong here! Then again this is old myu Galaxia so I suppose it could work. Though she might still kill me considering my allegiances XD)

8. Proposed to you: Minako (Ayumi Murata) (was she drunk? Perhaps. Flattered anyway)

9. Your boss: Usagi (Anza or Miyuki) (Ooh am I a Senshi? That’s cool! Also, Kaguya Island and (new) Moon Kingdom unite! Though Galaxia is definitely onto me then XP)

10. The random person you met at the bar: Seiya (Sayuri) (was it a bar on Earth or did we meet while going away from Galaxia’s murderous rampage, I wonder?)
