Ugh, same here, I would be SO HAPPY to maybe get a Sailor V OVA (or at least incorporate some of the supporting cast into the new anime for cameos like you say)

I’m so desperate for her supporting cast to get a nod, I actually headcanon that Hikaru had a cameo in the anime?

During this scene:

And then I make myself extra sad, because if the girl on the right is Hikaru (and I’d say she is the second girl speaking in the conversation, the one who says that Minako always says she has something to do, and then laughs at the other’s mention of Sailor V) that would actually be the worst thing ever.

After all it’s one thing for her random classmates to gossip about her and all that, it’s a whole other level of depressing entirely when one of the people gossiping about her has been Minako’s very best friend since the start of elementary school. This is also why I am so married to this headcanon. Having that be Hikaru there gossiping about her just makes sense given the point of this scene. 

(Plus you can totally see Hikaru’s perspective too? When they were 13, not too long after they started middle school, something happened and Hikaru really doesn’t doesn’t know what it was, but she and Minako started to drift apart. Even with all of her best efforts to fix things, Minako suddenly kept pulling away and when she WAS around she’d have these extra serious looks on her face that were so unlike any way that she used to act, and whenever Hikaru tried to find out what was wrong, Minako would just evade the topic entirely.To make matters worse, every time Hikaru asked her if she wants to hang, Minako would blow her off, saying that she has something to do. And Hikaru just doesn’t know her anymore and she thought they were best friends! Minako was her closest friend ever since she was little, and all of a sudden she is this stranger who seems to be avoiding her. Hikaru would be wondering ‘what could Minako possibly have to do so badly she can never spend time with me? What is upsetting her so much that she can’t tell me, her best friend?' So of course she’d feel hurt and angry and being a teenager she’d express that hurt by joining in the gossip about Minako and the like. D:)

I mean that can totally be the back of Hikaru’s head, right?

In the manga, Rei is often shown wearing a necklace. In fact, during the earlier arcs, she’s never seen without it.

The Materials Collection even makes special mention of it.

It also mentions that, after transforming into Sailor Mars, the pendant moves to her waist and becomes a tool that helps her generate fire.

To me, this seems to imply that Rei’s pendant has a special significance to her. So I did a little digging through the manga, and lo and behold:

It’s only men in the photos but really anyone can wear them. I am wearing a lungi right now.

1) Set off your smoke alarm or play the sound on your phone (if your home has no smoke alarms, pease get some!)

2) stand BY THE FRONT DOOR to hand out treats

Do this a couple times and then keep it up NO EXCEPTIONS. Accidentally set the alarm off cooking? Treats by the door. Smoke alarm sound on TV? Treats by the door. Changing your smoke alarm batteries twice a year like you’re supposed to? Give them a test run and your pets get treats by the door.

Most dogs and cats will clue in VERY quickly that hearing that specific sound means go to the front door and wait for treats.

If there’s an emergency and even if you leave by another way, you will still know the most likely place your pet(s) is and can direct first responders to help.
