They’re both 16 inches with a 3 inch extender chain, and all glass beads. I’m so in love with the colors of these.

This piece is based on a doodle I found in one of my sketchbooks done with markers. I loved the colors and shapes, so I decided to use it as a sort of satin stitch bootcamp (which is why it took foreeeeveeerrrr). There’s a lot of mistakes I see in this piece, but I learned a lot doing it, and I’m proud of myself for finishing it!

I’m really, really sick of being told that I’m supposed to hate features that almost every human being has. I found this area of stretch marks on my body, and I loved the organic shapes they made, so I decided to commemorate them. I like the idea of using art to find beauty in “ugly” things, and I hope this piece accomplished that!

I had the idea to do some kind of embroidery with hilbert curves. This is just a test to see if i liked how it looked on aida fabric, but i’m sharing bc i really enjoy how the backside shows the self-similarity of the curve lol

I'm really proud of how this bracelet turned out! The colors are inspired by a photo I took of a flower arrangement outside of a store.
