Twenty minutes have passed since the incident. I realized that it was around the middle of the night when we arrived. We didn't bring up what happened, and what was left of the broken chain was put back into his curse.
I was spinning slowly in my desk chair, lost in thought as my feet controlled my speed. Toji sat on my bed looking at the floor, I'm assuming he's still recovering from the shock. I was still collecting my thoughts, too.
I felt my chair adruptly stop spinning, being dragged towards the bed while facing the opposite way. Toji forcefully spun the chair so I could face him. He swallowed his cursed spirit long ago, so it was no longer there.
He looked me dead in my eyes as he trapped me in the chair by blocking all other exits, no expression.
"What is there to talk about?"
"How did we escape? Where are we? And, how do we get back?"
I stood silent for a moment, a troubled look on my face immediately becoming visible.
"We are in my house. I wouldn't know where or how to start explaining the other two, though."
I scoffed. "It's a little hard when I don't have the shit I need." It's not like I could rewind now. 'I have to tread carefully.'
He grumbled in annoyance as he pushed the chair back to give me space. I stood up, looking around my room. I felt my heart race a little as I continued looking around, brows furrowing in irritation.
'Desk? Nothing. Drawers? Nothing. On top of the shelves? Nothing. Under the bed?'
I shoved Toji's leg out of the way as I bent down to look. 'Absolutely nothing.'
"Yeah, I can't seem to find my bag." I groaned as I got up, putting my hands on my hips.
"Oh, that thing you always carried with you? What's in it?"
He hummed in responce, looking away from me.
"Why are you making that face?"
He had that same cartoonish look he had when he remembered Megumi. He turned away from me further, "what face?"
"That face. What did you do?"
"I just so happen to remember that I left it with Kong."
My eye twitched with annoyance. In a flash, I was behind him, putting him in a headlock as my legs wrapped around his torso. The headlock wasn't tight enough to literally choke him, but it was enough to annoy him.
"You fucking idiot! This is why I can't trust you for shit."
Toji stood up, making me almost hit the ceiling due to his stature. "Brat, it's not like he's looking through it, he knows it's yours. 'Sides, it was to keep your stupid shit safe so you wouldn't complain later." He held back his strength as he tried to unravel my limbs from his body.
He unlocks my arms, but they go back into position before he untangles my legs from his waist. "Don't you have other ways to prove it?" My legs do the same by the time he reaches my arms. Rinse and repeat.
"Yes, but I still have to find a way to get my shit back, no thanks to y-"
The door opened, my mom peaking in.
"(F/N)? I knocked earlier but you were-" cue her making eye contact with Toji, who froze while he was separating my legs from his waist.
She made eye contact with me, who had him in a headlock. Then looked back to Toji, "I'll talk to you later." She closed the door, we both stood still (technically Toji was the only one standing) as we listened to her footsteps.
I suddenly got an idea, "hey."
"Put me down, I got an idea on how to go back."
I got down from his back, and he turned around to face me, looking expectant.
"While I'm busy, do me a favor."
"Go clean yourself. Don't think I forgot when you vomited that nasty ass curse into your hand. Twice."
The vein on his forehead popped out again, "Are you assuming that I'm-"
"I definitely am. Now go."
He left with his fists clenched. Then came back into the room, asking for directions.

After telling my mom that Toji lost my belongings and we're currently trying to find it, she offered to help. She tried getting me to explain in further detail, but I avoided the question and remained vague. All in all, it took 30 minutes to persuade her that he wasn't an issue or dangerous. At least to me.
I entered my room again, my mother followed with her laptop. Toji was now sitting on my chair, relaxed. He looked comically large compared to it due to his shoulders.
My mother turned away towards the desk, placing her laptop on it.
"Get off." I whispered towards Toji.
He looked to the side, acting like I didn't say anything.
"You're over six feet tall and muscular as shit. Your weight could break it, you fucking brute."
He smirked with mischief as he rolled away from me, causing me to glare at him in annoyance.
When my mother turned around, I had to drop my expression immediately as I faced her.
"Hm, you said you needed my phone and laptop, right?"
"Okay, I deactivated the passwords for you for now. Bring it back when you're done." She placed the phone in my hand, glancing at Toji warily before heading out of the room.
The instant language change was a struggle, considering I have gotten so used to speaking Japanese because I was gone for the last few days. I was even thinking in Japanese subconsciously. No doubt Toji was struggling more though, because he didn't understand.
I was standing before my desk and messing with the laptop. 'It has been awhile since I ran into Genie.' In fact, I haven't spoke to Genie since the Riko incident. It worried me.
'Ever since I killed Riko, I felt something change within me. No, that's not right. Ever since I met him, I have been changing. For better or worse, I don't know.'
I felt something hit the back of my legs and turned around to find out. I saw the chair and made eye contact with Toji.
"You need it, no? Besides, your bed is more comfortable."
I huff, sitting down on the empty chair. Shivers go up my spine.
"What are you, a fucking heater? Why did your ass warm up the seat so much?"
He scowled as he shoved the chair forward, making me lose air as my torso collided with the desk.
I wheezed out, "Why are you like this?"
He brushed my question off, expression normal again.
"What were you thinking about?"
"You were spacing out on the same page. What were you thinking about?"
"Oh," I was hesitant to respond, looking away from his observant stare. I contemplated on whether I should tell him the truth, but figured that I should. 'It's the only reason why we got to this point in the first place.'
I took a deep breath, "it's just, ever since I killed Riko, things seem to have changed negatively." Nothing went the way I wanted to.
I heard a laugh bubble up from him behind me, causing me to be discouraged. 'I knew it was a bad idea. Damn.'
He sounded amused as he smiled, "You actually think you killed her?"
"Huh?" I turned around to face him.
"I was the one that pulled the trigger. You were just the gun. You wouldn't blame a solder's death on the weapon that killed him, would you? No, you blame it on the enemy who is using the weapon."
Oddly enough, his words were comforting, in their own twisted way.
I smiled, looking at him with doubt.
"Are you implying I'm not?"
I shook my head in disbelief, turning towards the laptop and continuing to find the fourth episode on a random site.
His smile dropped, "Hey, answer me, woman."
As I ignored him, I found the right episode. Not after clicking exit before multiple questionable pop-ups loaded. I decided to wait a little longer, wanting to savor the temporary comfort of my home, so I closed the laptop
'I don't think I'll overwrite anything, besides the Gojo fight. At least I hope. Ugh, I don't remember what I wrote in the notebook. Too much happened between then. What if he forgets everything that happened up till now? Would leaving the universe count as going to the future?'
"I've been meaning to ask something." He leaned in close, putting his right hand on the desk from behind me to balance himself. I could feel his breath to my right, his left hand on top of my head to forcefully tilt my head to face him, so that he could hold eye contact. 'I forgot he was behind me the entire time.'
At that moment, a weird smile settled on his face, his pupils dilating. He seemed to be at ease, comfortable. At peace.
"There's this weird feeling I get whenever I make physical contact with you. Although forced, it's not harmful, at least I think. At first I thought it was just me, but the longer we spent time together, the more I noticed it. Especially as of recently. So spill, what is it? Another weird thing you've been hiding?"
My eyes widened. Not out of shock, but realization.
'that's why he's been more touchy. It all makes sense now! Normally, he isn't really physical with people because he likes to keep his personal space. Before, I couldn't tell if he was A: ignoring it on purpose, B: getting used to it, or least likely, C: he was warming up to me and thought nothing of it. It wasn't any, rather, he has been onto me, gathering information since we escaped Gojo. No, definitely before! I can't hide it now. I have to admit, he got me good.'
"It's healing based off of physical touch."
"Reverse cursed technique?"
"No, it's not through any energy, it just naturally happens. Remember when your ear got cut by that curse? You probably didn't notice, but it was healed as soon as the cut came."
To fact check he felt around his left ear, not breaking eye contact. I felt unease as his calm, collected smile grew.
"Then, why did you bother to transform back when Gojo used red? You could've just healed me, no?"
I didn't know how to answer. "Huh?"
The pressure he oozed was similar to that time when I first talked to him. When I made my first mistake. 'I'm familiar with it but that doesn't stop me from spilling all the information he asks for. It's not a skill or anything. It's probably an intimidation tactic. Ugh, I don't know, he's too confusing.'
'Genie is definitely gonna be disappointed. I need my notebook. But how can I get it? I can't do it without Toji. He's the only one I know in contact with Kong.'
His smile dropped, expression unreadable. "Don't play dumb, you're a smart girl."
"I don't know, it was instict."
He raised an eyebrow, "Instict?"
"I can't explain beyond that, even I don't know."
"I could've, yes. However, I don't know how fast because I've only healed cuts before."
He barely backed up, the smile coming back to his face, this time smug. Playful, almost. "that's good to know. That means I was going to die."
I stood quiet as I listened to him reveal all of his observations of me.
"Otherwise, you wouldn't have been so desperate when we fought Six Eyes. If I wasn't going to die, you wouldn't have been trying as hard. In fact, you've made sure I was in top condition during the entire fight. Thanks for cushioning that blow by the way. Not only that, you were tense after we left the Headquarters. When Kong left, right before battle, you tried to warn me by telling me Gojo's technique."
Tranquility enveloped every sense in me, all my previous worries and issues melting away.
'I know what I need to do now. He may have gained a lot of information from this, but so did I.
Thanks, Toji. I learned a lot about myself and who I am as a person.'
My hands glide over the laptop, muttering an "excuse me" so Toji could give me space to move, getting up from the chair.
"At least entertain me with something before you leave."
I huff, grabbing the remote that's on top of the table below the TV, which was on the wall. I clicked the power button and switch through channels.
He got up, towering behind me and snatching the remote, switching the channels for me. "Just go. I'll find something."
"Alright. By the way, can you remember something for me?"
"What, you got terrible memory?"
I ignored his question, "remember the number 112016, please."

I took over an hour and 47 minutes. I tried to be quick, but then I had to dry my hair in the bathroom. Can't just leave it as is or else it'll get frizzy, and that gets annoying.
I open the door quietly, and I saw the TV on some random adult cartoon. I didn't remember the name, but I recognized it.
I turned to Toji, who seemed to be knocked out, taking over the entire bed. Clicking my tongue, I took the remote from beside him and turned the TV off.
The silence was comfortable, I felt calm wash over me.
"Are you finally ready to go?"
"Just wait a little longer."
A smile grows on my face as I'm grabbing my mother's phone from the desk and putting it in a different, smaller bag. I open the laptop up, the same tab still open. I made sure the scene was right before Kong left.
Grabbing a pair of shoes and slipping them on, I sigh, getting ready mentally and physically to redo this.

"But get this, the president owned his own private jet."
I squint my eyes, groaning silently because of how bright the surroundings were now. Instead of being behind Kong and Toji, I was next to Toji, his hand gripping my wrist. The curse was back around his body.
'Toji doesn't seem to be reacting in any way, shape or form. That must mean...'
"Rich people think on a different scale, man."
"Well, let's go eat with their money." Toji declared with a smirk. "Take me to one of the restaurants you use for clients."
'I guess this means that my place counts too. Toji forgot, but maybe it's better that way. At least I can still change things. It's better if he doesn't know anything beyond my weaponization.'
Kong mirrored Toji, "No way. You never pay for a guy, anyway. I've already decided I'll only see you for work or in Hell. Good luck dealing with Fushiguro, (L/N). You'll need it."
After crushing his cigarette beneath his shoe, he walked away.
"Kong wait," I called out expectantly, slipping my wrist away from Toji's grip.
"You have my bag, right? Can I come with you?"
I waved bye to Toji, "goodbye, I'll meet up with you later, Toji."
"By the way, do you remember?"
Toji just stared at me with a cartoonishly confused face. If a question mark could pop up next to him, it would.
I turned my back to Toji, joining Kong on his stroll. A comfortable silence fell between us as I followed Kong.
Kong broke the silence with a teasing tone, "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're running from Fushiguro."
I played along, "you found out?"
He huffed out a laugh, "On a serious note, why did you decide to join him? Especially by choice. Now that, I don't understand."
"He's the only one capable enough to use my technique and help me. Well, actually there's one other, but they aren't ready yet."
"What makes him so special?"
"A lot of things. Even if he's not in his prime anymore, he still kills with skill like no other. Not only that, He's one of the few that have a heavenly restriction."
I need someone crazy enough to help me destroy jujutsu society. Technically, Gojo is already planning something similar when he's a teacher. He references that to Ijichi during "Yuuji's death," talking about whether he should kill the higher ups. However, Gojo is only one person, and there aren't a lot of good, strong jujutsu sorcerers. Especially as of season one.
Kong hummed in response, and his car slowly got closer. "By the way, your bag is in my car."
Poor Genie. Can't you go to jail if you leave kids in cars, due to the risk of them overheating? Not like anyone can see Genie.
______________________________________________
After saying goodbye to Kong and parting ways, I opened my bag immediately, pulling out my phone. I zipped it back up, "Genie, it's been awhile. Catch me up." Genie floated above my head, following as I sprinted.
The clouds finally parted for the sun.
For some reason, my heart didn't beat faster in anticipation. I felt so calm, like I knew everything would be set in stone, just the way I needed it. I felt all my worries wash away as the sun glared at me.
"No 'its good to see you?' Just straight to business, huh? Since when have you gotten so serious?"
"Don't waste my time. Hurry."
"Right. The reason I couldn't contact you for so long, and even now, is because a page ripped."
"Okay, good to know I cannot remove any pages from the notebook. It was just that page, right?" I remember writing the wish related to Genie on the next page.
"Yes, so everything else is still in place."
I started seeing two figures from afar, one floating in the air, rocks forming around quickly. There were chains already in the air, and I saw Toji launch his final attack.
"Genie, hide now, or else they'll notice you."
"Understood." I threw my bags to where Genie hid.
I increased my speed, I felt different.
For once, I felt free of everything as I ran with unprecedented speed. At that same exact moment, Gojo launched purple directly at Toji.
I heard my loud heartbeat. It wasn't racing, rather, it was calm. The purple light shone bright, reflecting on my eyes as I watched it diminish right after.
I couldn't stop it, but that's okay.
I can always make it okay. I have no choice.
The closer I got, the more the details came to view. Gojo's bloody, ruined uniform. The blood trailing from Toji's mouth as he spoke.
I slowed to a stop, jogging to Gojo's side, making sure there's space between us.
"Do what you will with that." Toji lowered his head.
Toji is officially dead. Calm silence filled the air.
Gojo set his eyes on me afterwards, the breeze around us left the moment Toji died. I made eye contact with young Gojo for the first time.
His eyes were beautiful, serene. It felt like I could see everything through them. It seemed as if he had no worries in the world. I felt at ease when I stared back at him.
Even if he was covered in dry blood, he still looked nice. Too bad his personality is annoying.
"You're familiar," was all he said.
"I was the weapon that Toji used to stab your head."
"I see, so thats what I felt. Don't you want revenge, then? I killed him."
He must've felt my healing the moment my blade made contact with his skin back then.
"I would never truly wish harm against you. I could've genuinely killed you during the first fight, but I diminished my energy."
He hummed in response, still staring at me as I broke eye contact to stare at the hole he made in Toji's body.
"You should go collect Riko's body from those fools. Don't waste your time with me, Gojo Satoru. We will meet again."
He left without another word, leaving me alone with Toji's body. Genie, who was struggling to carry my bags, joined my side when Gojo was no longer in sight.
I sighed through my nose, 'I hope you have learned, Toji.'

She said that they got attacked by a bear during a hike.
