Evan didn’t really think things through when he invited Blair to join them for the holidays in Scotland, just about how much he actually wanted her there, spending time with him and his family, Dylan have brought Cassidy and Evan, knowing himself and how much he liked Blair, wasn’t going to waste a chance to bond even more with her and somehow let his family know he actually liked someone in a more serious way. And he really was liking how his mother and sisters were already seeing how smitten he was with her, always making sure she was comfortable and showing her affection every now and then.

Blair took a sip out of the coffee mug, before placing her drink on the bedside table as well. “Yeah, she did. You never told me you how cute of a kid you were. Dimples and curls really suited you” she said, poking his cheek before returning the soft kiss he placed on her lips. 

“Good, then I am glad we’re on the same page.” He said and before he was registering what was happening, she was kissing him and he definitely didn’t see it coming, but it wasn’t smething he didn’t like, kissing her back and wrapping his arms around her waist he just smiled against the kiss. “I definitely didn’t see this coming.”

“I’m very glad we are on the same page” she said to him, before pulling away from the kiss-- and she just looked up at him. “I guess I am just full of surprises and spontaneous moments?”

“And I like you.” He said, kissing her face as he stood up and grabbed her hand. “Dinner sounds good, love?” He asked, looking at the girl.

“You do? Well good, because I like you too” she said to him, smiling as he kissed her face. “Dinner sounds perfect.. but just one thing?” she said before leaning over and placing her lips on his, kissing him. “You missed” she said in a soft voice, with a playful smirk on her lips. 

I didn’t have plans, really. I’m a spontaneous kind of person I never make plans beforehand, I make them on the spot, so c’mon? Lets lift that mood of yours.

“I like that, I like how spontaneous you are” she mentioned to him. 

Evan just kept his arms around her and rested his chin on top of her head so she could tuck her face against him, rnning his big hands along her arms and back. “Well that’s bullshit, babe. It’s not silly at all.” He said, kissing the top of her head. “But if it’s your birthday I’m not letting you be sad, I’ll take you somewhere, where you wanna go?”

She rested her head on his chest, smiling lightly as she felt his hands run along her. “Oh, I don’t know” she said to him, looking up at him. “You don’t have to do that for me. I totally get it if you’ve already made plans for today”

Evan looked at Blair and shook his head, sitting beside her and wrapping her in a tight embrace. “You okay though?” He asked as he ran his fingers through her soft, blonde hair.

Blair smiled softly , wrapping her arms around the boy. “I’ll be fine” she told him in a soft voice. “It’s kind of my birthday today, and my parents actually forgot it. The people that are suppose to remember it and they forgot” she said, laughing faintly. “I know, I sound silly getting annoyed this by this-- but it’s... it’s complicated, I guess”

“Harsh harsh, I thought we had a thing, Blair; that’s hurtful.” He said with a  slightly teasing tone but dropped it when the girl wasn’t having it. “I’ll leave though.”

Blair looked up from her phone, soon after hearing the familiar voice. “Evan, sorry babe. I- I didn’t realise it was you” she said, giving him a small weak smile. “Don’t leave just cause I’m being a bitch” she told him, hoping he’d stay. 

“Well I was going to give you this bottle of wine and box of chocolates for your birthday, but if you don’t want it..” he trailed off and slowly started walking in the other direction, holding the wine and chocolates up in the air.

Blair glanced up at her phone, smiling lightly at the handsome band manager for Over & Out.  “Sorry, I didn’t realise it was you” she told him softly, putting her phone in to her pocket. “No, no!″ she laughed, reaching over and grabbing his arm. “Stay. Please, stay”

“What’s better than a spntaneous date?” He asked, wiggling his brows at her for humourous effect.

“How’d you know I’d say yes?” she asked, looking at him. “What would you have done if I said no?” 

“Well how  about this, I take  you to this place I know for a walk and then we go and get some dinner? Now that’d be a date, you wanna go?” He asked as he looked at the blonde. “Take a jacket, it’s freezing at this time of the year.”

“Okay, I like the sound of that. I’ll go on this date with you” she said to him, before looking at him. “Take a jacket? Wait, we are going like right now?”
