i miss the malec fic page u and @lifeofpatterns created?
Hi! I called @lifeofpatterns when I saw this ask because I was so shocked that there were still people curious about what happened to that Paige. It was just a fun little project, mainly her idea, to keep our favorite fandom alive because we realized that less people were posting in it.
A few things led to the lack of updates from the account. That summer, I had just started a new internship that took up a lot of time, and my lovely partner was finishing up her bachelors thesis. By the time all of that was over, we let so many posts go unposted that it was just kind of overwhelming for us to start again. But also, we are absolutely horrible at finishing long-term projects even the ones we are having fun with. You should see the long list of ideas that have been started by us on three hour phone calls and long voice message chains that have not seen the light of day.
That being said, the account will still always be up there for those of you who are looking for a little slice of Malec. We appreciate the occasional notification that someone has liked or reblogged one of the posts, or when an author finds their story on the page. Though we will most likely not revisit posting on this account, we hope that you all enjoy it for what it is, a way to appreciate all the wonderful authors in a fandom that brought us so much.  We had such a fun time getting to share some of our favorites with all of you and getting to support our authors who keep this fandom going. And we hope all of you did too.

PS: Though we may not be posting anymore fic recs, we are always accepting them so please feel free to let us know what you’re reading! Our love for this fandom has not and will not end just because we stopped posting :-) and you all had some great recommendations!
