Now that we have K-12 curriculum in the Philippines. It’s really important that the upcoming Grade 11 students know what track they will choose because it will affect their future. Now for this blog I will show you what I.C.T track can offer you. Â
First let’s talk about what is I.C.T . I.C.T stands for Information and Communication Technology is the extensional form of Information Technology(I.T) that stresses the role of unified communications and the integration of telecommunications (telephone lines and wireless signals) and computers, as well as necessary enterprise software, middleware, storage and audiovisual systems, that enable users to access, store, transmit, and manipulate information.Â
If you like games, making robots, or making apps then this track is perfect for you because it teaches you about programs and if you plan to take Com-Sci and IT in college then this is the track that you should take. All you need in this track are logic because it has a big role of how you make programs, you don’t need to write or construct a sentence or solve complicated math to make a program. When it’s your first time to make a program it will surely excites you that the program you make works and sometimes frustrate you that it fail but there’s always fun in ICT track. That’s why to all students who will be Grade 11 next year this is the best track for you.
