You can reach the Marienschlucht from Bodanrück via Langenrain , or following the shore of Lake Constance from Bodman (4 km) or Wallhausen (3 km). The footpaths on the steep bank are narrow, winding and only sparingly paved, cycling is prohibited here due to the considerable risk of accidents.

The house is located on Domgasse. It was built in the 17th century, originally with two floors, and redeveloped in 1716. Mozart rented rooms here from 1784, at which time it was also known as the Camesina House, after the family which had owned it since 1720. Since the original entrance of the house facing the Schulerstraße (the one Mozart used) was walled up to make room for a shop, the house has to be entered today from its rear in the Domgasse.

The island, with an area of 12.6 square kilometres represents the upper third of the volcano. The volcano has erupted many times and is constantly active with minor eruptions, often visible from many points on the island and from the surrounding sea, giving rise to the island's nickname "Lighthouse of the Mediterranean".  A recommendation is taking a guided tour there.

Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland and one of its 32 council areas. Historically part of the county of Midlothian it is located in Lothian on the southern shore of the Firth of Forth. Edinburgh is Scotland's second-most populous city, after Glasgow, and the seventh-most populous city in the United Kingdom. The city is the annual venue of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. It is home to national cultural institutions such as the National Museum of Scotland, the National Library of Scotland and the Scottish National Gallery. The University of Edinburgh, founded in 1582 and now one of three in the city, is considered one of the best research institutions in the world, most recently placing 15th in the QS World University Rankings for 2023. The city is also known for the Edinburgh International Festival and the Fringe, the latter being the world's largest annual international arts festival. Historic sites in Edinburgh include Edinburgh Castle, the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the churches of St. Giles, Greyfriars and the Canongate, and the extensive Georgian New Town built in the 18th/19th centuries. Edinburgh's Old Town and New Town together are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which has been managed by Edinburgh World Heritage since 1999.

Location: Italy, Venice Venice is a city in northeastern Italy and the capital of the Veneto region. It is built on a group of 118 small islands that are separated by canals and linked by over 400 bridges. The islands are in the shallow Venetian Lagoon, an enclosed bay lying between the mouths of the Po and the Piave rivers (more exactly between the Brenta and the Sile). In 2020, around 258,685 people resided in greater Venice or the Comune di Venezia, of whom around 55,000 live in the historical island city of Venice (centro storico) and the rest on the mainland (terraferma). Together with the cities of Padua and Treviso, Venice is included in the Padua-Treviso-Venice Metropolitan Area (PATREVE), which is considered a statistical metropolitan area, with a total population of 2.6 million.

Location: Warwickshire, England Shakespeare's Birthplace is a restored 16th-century half-timbered house situated in Henley Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England, where it is believed that William Shakespeare was born in 1564 and spent his childhood years. It is now a small museum open to the public and a popular visitor attraction, owned and managed by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.  Adjoining the Birthplace is the Shakespeare Centre, a contrasting modern glass and concrete visitors centre which forms the headquarters of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. As well as showing Shakespeare-related displays, the Shakespeare Centre also provides public access to the Birthplace. The Birthplace recreates a picture of family life at the time of Shakespeare complete with period domestic furnishings, a glass window inscribed with the signatures of visitors to the house over the centuries, and John Shakespeare's glove making workshop. The walled garden at the back of the house has been specially planted with flowers and herbs that would have been known in Shakespeare's time.

The area is very sparsely populated, with many mountain ranges dominating the region, and includes the highest mountain in the British Isles, Ben Nevis.

While the island itself is fictional, the green landscapes, olive groves and crystal-clear waters presented in the movie are 100% real! Most of the actual filming took place at one of the Sporades islands, Skopelos. Other filming spots in Greece include places on the nearby Skiathos island, and the Pelion peninsula on the Greek mainland.

The best place to start your exploration of the Hoh Rain Forest is at the Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center. From there you can walk two short nature trails: the Hall of Mosses Trail, 0.8 miles long, and the Spruce Nature Trail, 1.2 miles long. For a hike deeper into the wilderness try the 5 Mile Island hike. It follows the Hoh River, is relatively flat, and is lined with giant 100 year old cedars, spruce, and fir trees.

The museum also houses a small selection of works by other artists collected by Dalí. In accordance with Dalí's specific request, a second-floor gallery is devoted to the work of his friend and fellow Catalan artist Antoni Pitxot, who also became director of the museum after Dalí's death.
