I just watched 3:10 to Yuma. Those men are gay.

My parents brought me a box of old school stuff and other papers they had squirreled away. I found an old journal of some sort that I had done. On the back were the names of the kids in my class. I had written “friend, not friend, don’t like, and sort of friend” next to each name. And then I scribbled hatefully all over their names anyway. I know the answer, but was I okay??

I forgot Sweets had scars. I don't remember how he got them, tbh. But they're gonna make an appearance in my fic.
