Tbf about evil Jax being trans masc not making sense because no one else is genderwaped, all of the evil gang is inconsistent about how they're opposite or evil anyways so it kinda fits if you look at Caine's logic when making them. Kinger gets a role swap to dictator but Pomni doesn't get a role swapped as a clown, Zooble's opposite is being dumb for some reason despite not really being depicted as smart per se just critical, Gangle doesn't even get an evil version, and Ragatha is just like cartoony villain like that melts. Caine used alot of inconsistent and random traits to focus on when making them, Orbs Guy probably IS evil Gangle because he at the moment thought the opposite of Gangle is not Gangle lol
But you are right about meek and awkward characters being depicted as trans masc that 100% vaild to point out and I lowkey miss when Jax used to be headcanon as trans masc too mainly because the idea of a trans guy character being a dickhead and having toxic masculinity was an interesting chnage of pace from the usual. Still don't mind what we got tho.
No actually, you raise good points and I suppose I didn't see it from that angle. I also never considered the possibility of evil orbsman being evil gangle lmao, which is funny now that I consider it [they are kind of complete opposites lol]
And I agree. I love transfem Jax/Lily with all my heart and she's such a unique character, but I was a Transmasc Jax enjoyer before episode nine. I think both tmasc Jax and tfem Lily were such great representations, but I don't mind what became canon either lol
