AWAKE WITH FAITH

“In darkness, He rolls the stone away. At your darkest, He loves you anyway.”

We pass so many people on a daily basis with both similar and different stories than our own and they matter. Sometimes people try to talk to us and we dismiss them with judgement or tune them out with music in our headphones or preoccupation with our own daily life situations, events and other things and we never realize how much of a difference we could make if we simply just gave someone a chance. If we just asked one or two people how they’re doing or if we just wished them a great day, if we listened and showed compassion, if we gave them a compliment and/or even if we just smiled with acknowledgement, hearts could/would be softer. People need people and you never know the impact you can make or the impact someone else can make upon you, or the blessings and favor God can drop upon us through someone and through us, if we just operate in compassion, if we act in kindness, if we offered a hand. If we lived and loved within and revolved around the world exuding grace and compassion, kindness and forgiveness instead of living like the world revolves around us, expecting it to give to us without us giving back.
