with small steps and a surprisngly larger than life smile, he hums and chimes in, eyes suddenly bright and energy at a hundred percent. “do you need any help?”

gahyeon wonders if maybe she doesn’t look like she needs assistance. with a dog, a huge dog (okay, maybe a slight exaggeration) that’s currently trying to maul her face (not maul, but lick). is that not reason enough for someone to help? clearly she doesn’t look like she wants the dog on her, or even near her for that matter. she shoots the male a desperate look, exasperation on her face as she lets out a huff.

“are you serious?” she shoots, eyes wide as she flickers from the male to the dog. she squeaks when the dog’s face get’s too close, catching the tip of his tongue on her chin as she jerks her face away, stumbling back and only for the dog to follow. “yes—yes i need help, can you please do something about it? i’m going to be killed!” 

@avtjonghyun Frustrated would be the word to describe Sua as she struggled with the doorknob in front of her.  Why wouldn’t her key fit?  She was on time with her rent every month, so they wouldn’t change the locks, right? 

There was another word to describe Sua at that very moment.  Drunk.

She had gone out earlier in the night to celebrate the fact she had sold a large collection of photos to a publisher from her time in the Amazon.  No one knew that she hadn’t slept a single night there, every night (aside from the initial plane ride to get there) was spent in her own comfy bed, her teleportation taking her back and forth as needed, no one was the wiser at all.  Her ability made things so much easier on her. 

That being said, she didn’t like to use it when drunk, as her mind sometimes wandered on her. She had done it once and ended up in an ex’s apartment instead, and needless to say, that did not go over well, so she vowed never again while drinking.

He hadn’t been home the past three days, going from coffee shop to coffee shop and library to library. He had his things packed for at least a week (he was lugging around a small suitcase and someone had asked him if he was a runaway given his disheveled state of being. Going home was a luxury to him during this time and finding a woman trying to enter your house, banging on the door the moment he alighted the elevator was the last thing he wanted to deal with.

He blinks, unsure if he was hearing the other male correctly. Usually their encounters were very brief, a simple friendly exchange here and there. Though, Chanyeol couldn’t recall the male actually speaking to the plants before today. Perhaps he.. he shared similar mutation to the youth’s. 

Though, going about asking things like that was very dangerous waters, ones which Chanyeol didn’t dare to step in. Instead, he tilts his head lightly, looking down at the other male curiously. “You .. name your plants as well?” He asks, his voice sounding quieter than intended, cheeks slightly pink from embarrassment. He was rather reserved when it came to his own personal plants, especially about the names he had for them. 

He was certain the name suggestions weren’t directed towards him, but he did feel the need to at least give his input. “Bunny is a really cute name.” He muses, smiling shyly. He liked to follow certain themes when it came to naming his plants, his cacti especially. Most recently, he has taken up an interest in astrology, his favorite cacti (a large barrel cacti) named Andromeda due to his new recent obsession. He continues to smile, wanting to say more but holds himself back instead. He really didn’t want to make the other male feel uncomfortable in the slightest.

jinwoo’s eyes are wide as he watches the man from yesterday come marching over to him with a clear look of determination on his face. he barely manages to keep himself from bolting, hopeful that a coworker will come back from their break to save him from his impending doom. 

he flinches back slightly, putting more room between the man, the desk and himself. 

“I have a few questions…”

he internally screams. he doesn’t want to answer any questions, there shouldn’t be any questions, he did such a good job at masking his power, calming the man down like any other person would in that situation. there should be no need for questions. 

hesitantly, he smiles, cursing professionalism. “i’d be happy to help answer any of your questions pertaining to the library, how may i help you?” he squints his eyes slightly, staring the man down, almost daring him to say anything else. 

i do him a favour yesterday and he repays me by backing me in a corner like this? the nerve of some people. 

his brows furrow as he watches the other, visibly uncomfortable by his presence. then again, when a person marches up to you with obvious ill-intent (though he wouldn't call his curiosity that, but more often than not he's told most of his intent screams 'ill'), it's no surprise that he would be regarded with such a demeanour. he huffs in response, waving his hand dismissively at the other's attempt to dissuade him into anything unrelated to the library and his work. "then i'd like to ask," he starts, lips pursed as he moved to motion for the boy to follow him, pointing towards the biology section of the library before he begins questioning him. his questions, he knows, would put the both of them under fire if he's not careful. and he's made it a point to be the epitome of the word. he leans back, eying the boy and waiting for him to follow, mouthing 'i have questions' as he pointed towards the shelf lined with books. if he wanted a question pertaining to the library, he'll give him a question pertaining to the library.

it was meant to be a calm demonstration; another day, another motivational speech to bring the people to what could only be the right side. at least, in heehyun’s opinion. clearly, this is not what happened. someone thought it’d be a great idea to bring home crafted bombs and let them off in the middle of the square as thousands crowded in one space with police nearby, keeping an eye out for any suspicious potential behaviour which seemed ridiculous to almost everyone there but them.

whoever that genius was had been idiot enough to then give others the confidence to start up fights, which then turned into actual violence, leaving her facing a rampage of all ages scattering from the streets into even more dangerous areas, and through the sea of bloodied and injured she is able to spot a familiar face. one she hadn’t been expecting, but one she wasn’t particularly surprised to see - chae sunhwa. they’d spent a small amount of time together, but it was enough to see the fact both of them weren’t similar to their very human coworkers. what he was, she had no idea, but she had no time to question in the moment when his shirt was covered in red of either his or another’s blood, and his face seemed far too scratched up to be healthy.

she pushes against the charging crowds, coming to his side quickly as she links her arm around his torso, being careful not to disrupt any possible injuries under the stained button down her wore. “i’m not going to ask… you, look like you’ve had a bit of an ordeal today. i think i should…” ‘jesus christ, he’s heavy’ - “uhh..” as her words stumble, she attempts regaining composure by using even more strength; to no avail, only her fee follow her tongue in confusion over what to do.

Myungsoo had recently moved from the city of Seoul to Incheon permanently and of course managed to find a decent apartment that didn’t background checks. he didn’t need that headache in his life yet. So of course, the moment he had everything unpacked, he let his kitten go explore. myungsoo probably loved his kitten ace way more than normal people should and the black little kitten was probably the most spoiled baby.

he fell onto the couch, watching the tiny black ball of fur pad around the apartment before seemingly slipping out the window. myungsoo heard the padding paws exploring and he smiled a bit before falling asleep on the couch for a bit. the move and unpacking plus all the recent use of his fire abilities made him so tired. ace could come and go, but he would sleep
