Okay but for anyone who legit wants to know how to calculate it correctly:
The elbow joint on average rests a couple inches higher than the navel, so if you measure how long the distance is from the middle of the shoulder to that point then you have the length of the upper and fore arms!
So if anyoneβs wondering about legs too, the simplest rule of thumb is that the length from the top of the leg to the knee is equal to the distance between the top of the leg and the bottom of the pectorals:

I made an experiment, I took the skin colors of gems In Steven Universe and flipped em to the orange part of the color spectrum, hereβs what I got.
The pearls and pink diamond are pale, yet garnet and amethyst have a more darker shade. I think this was intentional by Rebecca where she got a random part of orange spectrum and flipped it to her desired color, idk thatβs just my theory. Now here they are recolored in their skintones.
They look extremely rough but I would say it fits
