“I’ve gotten taller?” Haru replied, letting out a laugh. He wouldn’t be surprised if he had, considering how tall his parents are. “Or did you get smaller?” With a teasing smile, he happily hugged his friend back tightly. “I missed you too, it’s been a long time.” He nodded, happy that although he was now comfortable in the house, he had a familiar face. “Come on, let’s get you inside.” Haru added as he took his friend’s luggage and pulled it inside. “I’m honestly so glad you’re here, no one told me that you were going to be here. What room are you in?”

avier frowned, nudging haru slightly. “i did not get smaller. you got taller.” he repeated once more, rolling his eyes at the taller boy. he nodded, walking inside. “it’s been too long. but we’re together again.” he smiled, looking up at haru. it was nice knowing there was at least one person he knew of in the house. he was slightly worried about being completely on his own, but knowing a good friend of his was there eased his worries. “i’m in room twenty-two!” he replied, smiling at the fact that haru had taken his luggage. “well, i guess i could have told you but- i didn’t know who was here. i tried not to look at the cast when coming here, i wanted it to be a surprise!” 

The girl bowed right after the boy, even though Sora was in the house for a long time now she wasn’t still used to that type of situations, knowing new people and having more human begins living in the house. ‘’I’m really sorry if this is gonna sound mean or something but I find your name funny and interesting. Are you chinese?’’ she asked while opening the door completely, Sora knew how awkward the first day could be so if she started saying random things the boy would probably feel better. At least it was like that in her mind. ‘’I’m Park Sora. You can call me Sora or So. Please come in, I’m gonna help you with your luggage.’’

avier couldn’t help but laugh slightly, he’d never been told his name was funny and interesting before. but he could understand the thought, as most koreans did find his name interesting. he nodded, “yeah! i’m chinese. xu xianhau is a chinese name, so i guess. it is funny and interesting.” he smiled, making his way into the house. “sora,” he nodded to himself. “oh- really? thank you!” he looked down at his luggage. he thought it nice of her to offer to help him.

Han stayed relativally close to the entrance, waiting for the boy to knock again but it never came. Truthfully, he hadn’t expected that to work but it was better for him, so, he didn’t question it. He went back to his original place on the couch with lazy steps. He hoped someone else would be there to be all friendly and welcoming when the boy came back because this time, even if he heard someone knocking, he wouldn’t go.

avier sat outside of the entrance, waiting for anybody to come and guide him to where he was meant to be. he was sure that this was the right place, it had cameramen outside it and all. but he wanted to assume that his roommates wouldn’t lie to him, he frowned deeply. after 10-20 minutes of waiting he approached the door once more, knocking loudly. “are you sure i have the wrong place?”

“xu xianhau.” shoichi attempted again a grin still on his face - he was fairly sure he butchered it again. “i’m not korean either. i’m japanese. goto shoichi.” he added in his own name in again, speaking in the same clear way avier had before. “i got here not too long ago so i think i’m still considered new. just not as new as you. so semi new. i don’t know where it is but i could probably find it if you wanted me to try.” he rocked on his feet a little, looking at the shorter boy.

avier smiled at him trying to pronounce his name again, “it’s good enough.” he nodded, knowing it would take a while for anyone to be able to pronounce his name. “goto sho-shoichi?” he tried to pronounce (though it came out more as goat soy-cheese). “semi-new?” he questioned, not sure what that meant. “do you think you could try? i don’t want to be a bother but- i kind of want to get to my room, yeah?”

the first thing shoichi noticed about the other was that he had a pretty face (the second thing was that he was shorter than shoichi but that wasn’t important because everyone was shorter than shoichi). in honestly, he didn’t know what to do with that information so he pushed it to the back of his mind to consider later (or never again). when the boy apologized an amused laugh left him, “you should be sorry - there’s a lot of personal items that don’t belong to you in there.” shoichi left the tone of his voice ambiguous, somewhere between playful and serious. “xu xianhau.” he struggled to pronounce, he couldn’t quite make his mouth form the sounds that had left him. “you’re not korean are you, avier?” shoichi asked with raised eyebrows, “i’m goto shoichi - or just sho. i’m only semi-new here.”

avier was beginning to get worried he had genuinely offended the other male, which was not his intention at all. “i am, i am. i’m really sorry.” he things're once more, not knowing if he was meant to stop apologizing or continue on. he couldn’t help but giggle slightly at his pronunciation of his name, “xu xianhau.” he repeated, attempting to make his words clearer. “not at all, i’m chinese.” he replied, smiling. “i see, goto shoichi.” he attempted at pronouncing his name, though with his limited knowledge of how name pronunciation worked and his limited knowledge of what he had actually said. “semi-new?” he questioned, shifting his weight from one foot to the other, “do you know where room 22 is?”

shoichi had made his way up the stairs and down the hall in the direction of his room. he didn’t really feel like being along but he just couldn’t find anyone - so he had given up and of course when he gave up would be when he found someone. a shorter boy was in front of his room, looking like he was about to enter. “i don’t think you should go in there.” he spoke instead of giving a proper greating, as always his japanese accent lacing the korean words, “i’ve met all of my roommates and i know you’re not one of them.” shoichi had a grin on his face, excited to see the other’s reaction.

avier turned around as he heard somebodies voice, “oh- i.” he wasn’t sure how to explain what he was doing. if he was being honest he was looking for anybody to help him, he was new and didn’t know his way to his room. he took a few steps back fro the door, “ah- i’m sorry.” he replied, he took a few steps towards the boy. “i’m xu xianhau. but you can call me avier, i’m new here.” he explained, bowing towards the boy. “i’m sorry again!”

Han was getting tired of the enormous number of people living with him. Considering the size of the house and the fact that he was currently filming a reality show, he should have expected it but, everytime someone new came, his face would always become darker. Since his arrival in the house, he hadn’t welcomed a lot of people. Mostly because he would simply lock the door and hope they didn’t have the key. Once again, the time came. He heard someone knocking but told himself someone else would go; turns out nobody else was available so the newbie would have to deal with him. With a sigh, he got up from the couch and walked towards the door; opening it slightly after making his next roommate wait a little. “You’ve got the wrong house sorry”, he said before closing the door again.

avier wasn’t expecting the reaction he got, frowning he turned around. “how could i have gotten the wrong house.” he mumbled to himself. he was sure this was the right house, but if he was told otherwise he must have been wrong. he checked his phone, and was convinced this was the house. but- then again, korean wasn’t his first language and he could have gotten it wrong.

“Downstairs, I’m sure.” She recollected the rooms around her own upstairs and soon became certain that twenty-two was not one of them. Just as she’d made up her mind to walk away, she sighed to herself as she closed the front door shut. “I’m assuming that you need help navigating your way there– feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.”

avier nodded, “if you don’t mind that is. if you do i’m sure i can find my own way there.” he smiled, trying to come off as friendly as he could. he didn’t want to be inconveniencing anybody. but at the same time, he did really want to get to his room to see what it would be like. 

She found herself taken aback again by the man’s words. Looks like his eagerness wasn’t an act. Eun Hee thought quietly to herself. With a cough, she cleared her throat before stepping back and opening the door further for him to step in to. “Yes, I suppose. I am Maeng Eun Hee, your new roommate, apparently.”

avier nodded, walking into the house and trailing his suitcase behind him. “it’s nice to meet you, maeng eun hee.” he turned to look at her. “d’ya know where room twenty-two is?” he questioned, looking around. there was no way he’d be able to find where he was trying to go on his own. his best bet was to hope she wouldn’t mind showing him.

Haru had been expecting this; he knew new people were coming, he just didn’t know who. Hearing the tell-tale knock on the door, he let out a soft sigh as he realised it meant moving from his comfortable spot on the couch. He wasn’t particularly sure if anyone else was around, or if they had heard the knock, and that was how he found himself making his way over to the front door. Fixing his clothes quickly, he opened the door only to be met with a shock. He couldn’t believe who he was seeing before him, it was wonderful suprise. “Avier!” He screeched slightly, immediately rushing to pull his friend into a hug. “I didn’t know you were coming!”

avier was surprised to see haru, he hadn’t expected to see haru of all people here. “haru?” he questioned, laughing slightly as he returned the hug. he couldn’t remember the last time he’d seen haru, but he was defintely excited to be seeing him right now. “it’s so good to see you again! have you gotten taller? i feel like you’ve gotten taller.” he smiled, patting the top of haru’s head. he broke away from the hug only to hug haru once more again, “it’s so great to see you haru, i’ve missed you!” he squealed, excited to be reunited with his friend.

At the sound of a knock on the door, Eun Hee immediately tended to it. Living in the house, it was definitely a pet peeve of hers to have to hear a constant knocking at the door because whoever it was was usually exceptionally impatient and her roommates were rather too lazy to get up to answer. Before she could speak, she was flabbergasted by the immediate bow of the stranger. “You are incredibly eager, may I ask why?”

avier frowned in response to her question, “i’m sorry, is it not okay for me to be excited?” he questioned, though he question itself could be seen as a sarcastic response if toned properly, avier was genuinely concerned he had in some way offended her. he cleared his throat, “it’s nice to meet you.” he spoke calmly, not wanting to seem as excited as he was before. though on the inside he was still extremely excited to be here and to be meeting people.
