I love the idea of Bruce doing little parent things for the kids. Like yes, maybe he's not called 'Dad' or maybe he fucks up more often than not but I like the idea of him making little efforts just to show them that he cares. Bruce bending down to tie Damian's laces or having him rest his legs over his so he can do it better. Bruce doing that licking his thumb and brushing dirt off Jason's face after patrol while he complains. Bruce cutting the crusts off of Duke's toast. Bruce fussing with Tim's unruly hair, trying to flatten it down. Bruce fixing Dick's tie or bow tie before a gala, even though its completely perfect. Bruce making sure that every piece of Cass's dance equipment has her name on it, staying up late one night to write her name in tiny letters in every item. Just Bruce who sometimes can't vocalise his feelings for the kids so he makes efforts in small ways.
