PAST: 

With seven brothers and sisters, it was difficult for Avery to stand out, but she didn’t want to. She was happy to stay unknown, unnoticed and just get through life with as little strain as possible. Living in a vibrant family, she often found herself in her bedroom with her head in a book for hours, or sometimes days. Avery’s dedication to books is what drove her to be an overachiever. Regardless of her overachiever status, the boys in her school couldn’t help but notice how beautiful Avery was. However, she never got involved with anyone. It was that sort of drama that would cause her to lose sight of what school was for, learning.

Avery graduated at the top of class and was set to go to University to study Biology. When she arrived Avery was just as quiet as she was at home, minding her own business and getting on with her studies. Despite not being interested in parties, boys and drinking before, slowly Avery was sucked into the freshman lifestyle. It wasn’t long until she got a boyfriend, an athlete, who was well known on campus. It was 5 months into their relationship, at his birthday party, that she realized something was wrong. People were pointing and laughing, shouting obscene names at her. That’s when she saw the pictures of her, naked, on a phone. Not knowing how to react, she collapsed to the floor in a heap of humiliation. Her now ex-boyfriend had no remorse, and was proud of what he had done. Finding out that it was his initiation into the track team, the humiliation was too much for her to cope with and she dropped out of University a few weeks later.

PRESENT:  

Dropping out of University wasn’t something that Avery, or her family had planned for. She had told her parents that the work was too difficult, and that she would rather get a job for a few years then decide whether or not she wanted to go back into education. Not a job she ever thought she would have, Avery is now working as a maid at Halcyon Hotel. She tries to stay out of the drama that comes with working in a hotel, but always finds herself listening to the problems of her colleagues.

PERSONALITY: 

Ever since she was a child, Avery has been a quiet girl. Very sweet and caring, she is an approachable person who is able to listen to peoples problems without interrupting. She is more comfortable when not in big groups people, and prefers people who can keep a conversation flowing. Avery has major trust issues when it comes to men, and she hasn’t yet told anyone at Halcyon about the pictures of her on the internet.

CONNECTIONS:

Danielle Parker - Their friendship has grown since Avery became the maid to her suite.

Daniel Wilson - Finds him attractive and wants to get to know him.
