Iâm not angry that Natasha died.
Yes, Iâm sad Natasha is gone. Iâm devastated. But Iâm not angry that she died. Iâm angry that she never got a proper goodbye. Iâm angry that she never got the recognition she deserved for saving the world. Iâm angry that her sacrifice was brushed away and barely mentioned. Iâm angry that she never got a funeral like Tony did, that all she got was Bruce throwing a bench into a lake and a tear or two.
Iâm not angry that Tony died.
Iâm angry that the Russoâs acted like, and said, that there was no other way to end Tonyâs story. There were ways to keep him in the MCU, have him be happy, even if Robert Downey Jr. wouldnât be there to act it out. Iâm angry that he only got five years with his family, and people decided that was enough. Iâm angry he only got to see Peter for a minute before having to fight again.
Iâm not angry about Steveâs ending.
Iâm angry that it ruined his story arc. Iâm angry that Steve barely got to spend any time with Bucky before he left. Iâm angry that the Russo brotherâs deemed Steve worthy of a happy ending, but not Tony. Iâm angry that there were so many plot holes in his ending, and that there was no explanation for any of it.
Iâm not angry about what happened in Endgame. Iâm angry about why the events happened. Iâm angry about how the events happened. And Iâm angry that people donât recognize any of these things. That people praise the creators of this movie for making some perfect masterpiece when it is far from that.
