Hm, good question. I think I will... shun everybody who isn't dancing right now. 

The people around us would want me to shut up and the best way to do that is by kissing me, to be honest. [A breathy chuckle escapes his lips at his foolish comment as he smiles down at her. He draws one hand away from her waist to anxiously rake through his hair. He gulps, his brows furrowing. Chris desperately hoped she wasn’t hinting at a relationship so soon; the mere thought of one made him feel nauseous] Well…what did you really mean?

So that's my new job now, huh? To shut you up? [She teases and bats her lashes. Ava isn't expecting a relationship out of them--not anytime soon, at least--but she isn't going to keep kissing and teasing around with a boy who she isn't in a relationship with. That just isn't morally correct in her opinion. She looks up to him with softly confused eyes, her heart thumping rapidly behind her rib cage. Opening her mouth, she isn't exactly sure what's expected to come out, but her voice is quiet when she speaks.] This whole thing, between you and I, is just really quite confusing. I'm a very virtuous girl and I-I just don't know if this is something that's worth pursuing. I like you, but I know you. You're Christopher Woods, the player, and you don't do relationships. I don't want to continue to let myself fall for you when in the end I know you won't be there to catch me. [She sighs.] Basically, what I'm saying is, is that I think we should keep our relationship strictly on a friendly-basis.

Oh, I'm not a, um, big partier anyways. I know that the work is going to be hard, though. I mean, it's inevitable. It's college.

Kisses will definitely shut me up, too. [He wiggled his brows suggestively, grinning foolishly to himself. If he had the audacity, he would’ve stolen a kiss right then and there, but Chris kept himself in control. If he came off too strongly, he would easily scare the girl away. He lifted his shoulder in a nonchalant shrug] Okay with what? Kissing a cute girl? Who wouldn’t be okay with that?

But I never said I wanted you to shut up, silly. [Her brows raise at him knowingly. At his following words, her expression falters and she sighs. She hopes that's not all that he thinks of her--just a cute girl who he can kiss. Ava isn't the type to go around kissing boys who simply charm her. At least, boys she's not in a relationship with. She shifts her eyes downward and shakes her head.] Um, that's not really what I meant. I just think that this is all very new still, um, so it's kind of nerve-racking. 

"Oh yes, of course! I’m Eva" She smiled at how similar their names were. Things could get confusing, but it didn’t matter. Ava was sweet, she wouldn’t mind if people mixed the two of them up.

Eva? That's so similar to mine. How neat is that? Well, it's nice to finally formally meet you.

[he smiles] It’s an honour to meet you, Princess Ava.

[She curtsies and speaks in a royal tone of voice.] Why, of course it is. I am the princess after all. 

You’re welcome.” He smiled. “Hey, the people know a good princess when they seen one.”

Well, I don't know if I'm a good princess but that's kind of you to say. 

I know and I forgive you. Stop stressing.

Oh, um, yeah. You're right. I'm a bit slow sometimes. 

I, um, hope not. I apologized. 

Good to know. 

It feels like forever since I've come out of hiding.

What's it like? Should I be scared?

Well, how does it feel to be wrong about yourself? 

I'm not going to lie. Kind of dumb. 

Y-you’re welcome. [gulps] …I’m Callum.

It's nice to meet you, Callum. I'm Ava, or should I say Princess Ava.

Don’t worry, I’ll be sure to mention that every time. You’ll probably get annoyed. [He continues to gaze at her, his eyes searching hers before glancing down at her hands, smiling shyly. His cheeks flush slightly as he shakes his head, his voice remaining soft] I’m just saying. It’s okay if you’re not. I swear.

I probably will but kisses will make up for it, right? [She purses her lips into a mousy grin, admiring him in such a reserved and adorable state. She wonders if he only acts this way around her because knowing his reputation, this isn't Chris Woods. Feeling hesitant, she draws her hands from his shoulders and lowers her brows just slightly.] Are you okay with it, Chris?

Well congrats Ava.

Thank you. I don't even know how it happened but, thanks.
