Robin and Batman

I really liked it. Visually beautiful of course, I loved the art, loved the paneling, pretty easy to read. Secret identity stuff, the conflict between day life and vigilante life, all the stuff I love in superhero stories. Issue two felt so much like young justice lol I loved it. Made me wanna check out other non Batman sidekicks too. I love the sidekicks and younger heroes, especially if we get to see them grow older too. The early weird family of Bruce Alfred and Dick is so good, I love their dynamics there and the aforementioned conflicts with the superhero life. Mostly just wish it was longer but whatever. There’s lots more to read. Even after I finish everything on my current reading list there’s so much other stuff to dig into. Excited to see how I like young justice on my next rewatch after I’ve read more comics like this lol.

I love just hearing about how they started and what mantles they eventually take on instead, and of course, lots of adoption. So now that I’m reading comics a bit I wanna just read through a bunch of their comics. Just find reading lists on Reddit. Very interested in the rest of the bat family too so might read them too eventually. Funnily enough I’m not very interested in Batman himself tho lol.
