I noticed a funny parallel between the games Iâve obsessed over this and last summer.
Last summer, I had just had my first breakup, and after a long trip around Europe I was just tired, and sad. I wanted something to take up all my time, to completely suck me in, so I just played Stardew valley, like 10 hours a day every single day. And I wound up 100% it. It was like all I did. With random tv shows constantly on in the background ofc.
This summer, Iâve been quite busy. Iâve spent like 5 weeks physically with my girlfriends, been on calls and texting them all the time, further time with other girls and doing other things. So I wanted something that was easy to pick up and put down, not requiring long play sessions for immersion or investment. So Iâve been playing so much celeste. And I 100% it. And Iâm still playing. Why am I still playing. I completed my goal. Why am I going after golden strawberries?? Someone stop me. Please donât actually.
But now this last week when Iâm going nothing but waiting to move out again, Iâm also playing celeste 10 hours a day lol. With tv shows and YouTube videos constantly playing in the background ofc
Celeste chapter 7 golden⊠itâs not that hard, I can beat every individual section without dying. Itâs just the length. Iâm so scared of chapter 9 golden.

Today it has been exactly 3 years since I realized I'm trans. I started questioning in late may 2023 thanks to egg_irl, then the 25th of july I read this incredible article about it and accepted that I was indeed trans.
A scientific process for a complicated question
At the time I still wasn't sure specifically what I was beyond transfeminine. But I didn't really care, I was just happy to finally be rid of the doubts. After a while I started using the label demi girl, then a bit after that just girl with she/they pronouns, and then eventually just she/her. I still like the occasional they/themming, but not enough to permanently display them as pronouns I use, if that makes sense.
The past three years have been kind of a rollecoaster of emotions. At first I was so happy to be a girl. Then as the reality set in the idea of actually transitioning was terrifying, and with being a teenager and the state of swedish trans healthcare, kinda hopeless. Then in 2025 I found a way that I could get hrt, and even just waiting for my first doctors appointment made me so giddy. Then I got on hrt, got some friends who knew me as Emilia, A Girl. I bought dresses, went to pride as a girl, got an affirming haircut. Then over the summer I socially transitioned with my childhood friends as well, and as I was out of the country for several weeks I got to be a girl in real life for the first time. I was very happy. But then for the rest of summer I was very tired and sad and just played stardew valley every minute of every day lol.
After summer I moved 500km away from home, for many reasons, but a big one was to be able to transition easier, away from everyone I had known. To start that plan didn't go great. There was a girl in my class with the same name as me, and I didn't wanna come across like I was copying her, or just draw any attention at all. So that kinda makes social transition scary. It was still easier to be girl outside of school tho, I could go to queer meetups and dress fem and be happy so much easier.
In november I finally found a friend! My first irl friend who knew me as a girl our whole friendship. I'm so glad my discord pronouns made it so I didn't have to outright say I was trans and she could just figure it out and ask. Right before winter break she helped me come out at school too. Which was terrifying but now that it's done I am of course so happy about it. I love you so much @d0vegum , I can't express how much our friendship has done for me and how much you mean to me. Thank you.
So at the start of this year the social transition started. The thing I had been the most scared of of all, and it wasn't that bad. Sure I was terrified to interact with anyone for a while, but it got better as time went on. Soon after I changed my legal name, and at the same time I came out to my whole family. Going back home for spring break after that was terrifying, but my best friend was there the whole time and made it so much easier. Thank you so much again Francis.
So I was finally fully socially transitioned by early april. Not legally yet but I got to be completely full time girl, so I count that. With that, and around the same time realizing I'm a lesbian, not bi, I decided to download a dating app. I found my girlfriend and fell in love fast and hard. We're approaching 3 months now, and yesterday happened to be her 1 year on hrt lol. She got me to stop wearing breast forms and realize that damn I have boobs.
So yeah that's my whole trans journey so far. Wasn't planning on writing such a detailed history but whatever lol. Today is coincidentally my 16 month on hrt anniversary. So here's 2 weeks vs 16 months waow
