Despite being a popular, well-selling vehicle, it was pulled from the market in 2006, with no successor to take its place.  Now however, speculation is rife that we could see the Shogun Sport return to the UK in the not too distant future.

After the launch of the new Pajero Sport in Asia, Lance Bradley made reference to the possibility of the new model being brought over for sale as a Shogun Sport.  Stating that the move was not ‘impossible’ and that the car had previously sold well here, he only made the idea more concrete in people’s minds.

As if this wasn’t enough to convince even the most stubborn non-believers, the Shogun Sport is one of the most searched for 4x4s in the UK this year.  Considering it isn’t even on sale here, it shows Mitsubishi UK how much of a demand there is – surely they would profit from giving in to this?
