Thinking about Hytale and how the building is gonna be in the game compared to minecraft, 64x64 textures definetely make way more clear what each block is supouse to be which make me think they might not be as useful for texturing and gradient like Minecraft. Minecraft blocks having lower res textures means everything is more up to interpretation, while Hytale building will definetely be fun but probably way more "modular" on how people use the blocks available.
